Cabin vacation rentals in Loch Tay

Staying at this cottage was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the heart of peaceful farmland and surrounded by rolling hills and mountains, it truly felt like we had our own private slice of the Scottish countryside. We spent hours just soaking in the views, it honestly felt like we owned the meadow and the open fields beyond. Pure magic. The cottage itself is cozy, beautifully designed, and perfectly equipped. Even though it’s technically connected to the hosts’ home, we never once felt our privacy was interrupted. In fact, we didn’t see anyone during our entire stay, it was incredibly quiet and serene, just what we were hoping for. Highly recommended if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and surround yourself with nothing but nature. Thank you so much, Jenny & Michael!

Excellent accommodation and location, a real memorable trip. The restaurant is pretty much 'on-site' and was excellent. One negative - the hob. Seems like a small thing but when you are cooking for 8 and struggling to hold water at the boil it is frustrating. It was so weak. Since it is accommodation for 8, it really ought to be a more powerful hob. Frying bacon took *ages* ! Otherwise amazing, and highly recommended *****

The cabin couldn’t have been more relaxing! Exactly what we needed after a long travel to start our trip. We were able to relax and unwind with the outdoor bath and fire pit and the chilled champagne and breakfast basket were perfect on arrival! Thanks to Mandy for giving us the best recommendation on a local golf course, Murrayshall was gorgeous and challenging! Thanks for this little gem Alice we hope to be back!

This cabin was idealic. Stunning location, so peaceful and the cabin itself was perfect. Spotlessly clean, every utensil you could need. Comfortable beds and pillows ( I would like to know where the pillows were purchased) fresh clean bedding. The hot tub was incredible. The bbq was a lovely bonus which we used of an evening. Would highly recommend and would love to return. Thank you Jane the stay was faultless 💗

This was our absolute FAVORITE stay in all of Scotland! The location is very peaceful and the house was so so clean and comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and so many thoughtful touches throughout the home (robes, yummy snacks, local recommendations). Margaret was so kind and friendly in communications and we LOVED meeting the cows, sheep and chickens! Our only regret was that we only stayed one night as we wish we had more time to enjoy this incredible place. Seriously do not miss out on booking this spot- if and when we are back in Scotland we will for sure be back to Riverview!

This is a beautiful part of Scotland,all the walks that are local are beautiful. It’s a great base to have because there are lots of places within 30-45 minutes. The village is beautiful and we will be returning. Watch the shinty when you are there …

We just stayed one night when on our way to Skye. The cabin was comfortable and we had a very peaceful stay. Everything we needed was available including a very welcome chocolate bar to accompany our cup of tea on arrival. We travelled with our dog and there was an extremely handy dog walking area on the hill behind the cabin. We met a number of locals walking their dogs which was nice.

The cabin was exactly what we needed! Super comfortable and a lovely spot to sit outside on a summer evening. The living room is ideal for a glass or four of wine!

Just home from 3 nights with our friends and our dogs. Cabin is immaculate and has everything you need. Also lovely we box of goodies left for us on arrival and box of goodies for the dogs I thought that was a nice surprise. Very peaceful place and decorated beautiful. Decking area fab to sit and relax. We were unlucky with the weather but still managed to have a great time. Decking area is sheltered from rain so we were still able to sit out and enjoy the views. Caroline was very responsive to messages and a great host we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Cozy little cabin in a very beautiful village, close to a few Munro's. The gardens are beautiful if you can brave the midgies or the wind is up. lot of nice walks around through beautiful woods, by the riverside and through wildflower meadows if you don't fancy a Munro.

Beautiful and a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Glencoe area. Shoutout to Taiti (I hope I spelled that properly) who was especially kind and helpful!

Second time visiting Dalavich, but first time staying at Hazel's cabin. What a beautiful place with stunning surroundings. Was very clean and cozy inside, with plenty mod cons. As we have been in the park before, we didn't travel far, instead enjoying the stunning scenery and walks on offer. Access and instructions were great. We will definitely visit again some day. Missing it already.

We had such a lovely stay in the cabin, Heather and Stuart were very friendly and hospitable. We were able to drive to Edinburgh and Glasgow to explore from this location. The views were beautiful all around! Thank you so much! :)

We enjoyed staying at this out of the way on our adventure around Scotland. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Angela was great about answering any questions. Very peaceful and quiet.

The cabin was a peaceful oasis, and we felt like we were staying in the woods, but it was only a short walk downhill to the high street and train station. (Keep in mind it is back uphill if you buy much, but there is a taxi stand right at the end of the high street if needed.) Greg was a friendly and helpful host with lots of great suggestions about the area. The cabin was spotless and decorated with lots of lovely touches. I would stay here again if we’re in the area and would highly recommend it to other travelers.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits à Caol. La cabane de Nicky est charmante et le petit jardin très appréciable avec un chien. Le logement est très propre et très bien équipé, il ne manque de rien !

Had a wonderful stay at the Bothy! Had a fun adventure driving up to it. Really sets that remote feeling. Surroundings are sunning and the bothy has all the basics you need.

This cabin is just perfect, it is a great size of a family of 3 (plus 2 dogs) and is in an idyllic setting. The instructions to get there are really good, and we found it first time. It's so pretty and peaceful, the dogs loved roaming around (although if you have dogs I'd suggest a tick remover), we didn't use the barbecue but the rope swing is fab. It's also lovely to have a porch, for when it's a bit rainy but still warm. We stayed for a week and had enough utensils to cook proper meals, and having a washing machine and dishwasher is also a bonus. The beds were comfy, and it was SO quiet. There's gorgeous dog walks and you're not too far from local amenities, probably around 25 minutes to Perth ASDA. We've booked to stay again we liked it that much.

The lodge was cosy and comfortable. Although several decades old, it had very recently been updated with new furniture, and new fittings in the kitchen and bathroom. The lodge was conveniently close to the loch-side, and the site itself was well situated for access to Killin and the surrounding countryside.
