This is our old home place on the farm were I was raised here with my grand parents. It was remodeled in 2006 with lots of love and holds a special place in our lives. A place to come and relax by the creek. Sit on the porch and rock in the evenings. Fire Pit available by advanced request down by the creek. Mountain escape! See clean up efforts from Helene

We are back open after Hurricane Helene and appreciate your business. The storm did a lot of tree damage but the property is ready to go. Hiking trails are use at your own risk and the Blue Ridge Parkway is currently closed. This campsite is located in the heart of the forest, off of the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. 4 wheel drive required in winter, shower and sink not available when below freezing. There will be access to water at the faucet just outside the camper and a flushing toilet.
