Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer snowshoe hikes and cross-country skiing instruction in winter, please contact us if you are interested.

This cabin / house is an excellent fit for those who want to get out into the mountains a bit while being only 15 minutes down to Brumunddal city centre. In the winter there are nice ski tracks right outside the door and the atmospheric cabin combined with the sauna creates the perfect winter experience. The house is also suitable for those who need a place to stay for a shorter period of time while renovating their house, or looking for something new. A cheap holiday / residence for small to large families.

Velkommen til Viking-gården Sygard Listad. Her bor du på historisk grunn. Viking-kongen Olav den Hellige bodde her i 1021, for å forberede slaget mot kongen i Gudbrandsdalen. Dette skjedde under kristninga av Norge. På gården finnes den hellige brønnen "Olavskilden". Kjøreavstand til Oslo er 250 km og det samme til Trondheim. Her kan du dra på ski i Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, nasjonalparken Jotunheimen eller Rondane. Om sommer kan du se Peer Gynt, moskus-safari eller dagstur til Geiranger.

There is a bed loft, a sleeping room with double bed, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower and underfloor heating. The house is located in a farm. Nice and quiet. Short distance to nice nature experiences. 300 meters to nice trips with cross-country skiing in the winter, nice hiking opportunities in the summer. About 25 minutes by car to Lillehammer city center. (14 km) 30 min to Hafjell and Hunderfossen. If you want to go skiing in the mountains, it is about 15 minutes by car to Fåberg Vestfjell. Large garden, so nice for families with children. It's a good idea to have your own car☺️

Pannehuset and Birkenhytta

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.

Borrow our skis, just bring boots. «Skisporet» provides info on track status. 15 min to Sjusjøen ski center (alpine). The area also offers exciting activities such as dog sledding (Sjusjøen Huskey Tours).
