Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin sleeps 5, plus crib, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood-burning stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels incl. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

The house is located on a farm. Nice and quiet. Short distance to nice nature experiences. 300 m to nice trips with cross-country skis in winter, nice hiking opportunities in summer. Approx. 25 min by car to Lillehammer city center. (14 km) 30 min to Hafjell and Hunderfossen. If you want to ski in the mountains, it is about 15 min. by car to Fåberg Vestfjell. The Eldhuset is an old, charming farmhouse that has now been given an extension with bathroom and kitchen. Thus, you have everything you need in this small house that is located in the countryside. There is a double bed in the main room/living room and three beds up on a loft that you have to climb up to via a rib wall. There is seating for 5 people at the dining table and there are 4 armchairs in the cabin.

18th century timbered wooden house close to everything

Stay centrally in Lillehammer with stunning views of Mjøsa, in a traditional timbered wooden house with a unique history. Vågåhuset is a timber building that was moved from Vågå to Lillehammer in 1913. The house was originally one of three buildings on a farm in Vågå in Gudbrandsdalen. According to Maihaugen/digital museum, the house was bought and moved to Lillehammer by the painter Frederik Collett.
