We had a fantastic stay at Carole and George’s house. The outside space was brilliant and we loved the pool and many different areas to sit and relax. The hot tub was a real bonus! George and Carole are excellent hosts and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great week!

We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful home, nicely decorated with direct views of the Dordogne. The place is quiet and peaceful and the ideal location for visiting the surrounding towns and vineyards. Highly recommended for all nature lovers and good wine lovers. In addition, the exchanges with Pimprenelle were responsive and cordial. We would love to go back!

Suzon was the most amazing friendly host. She welcomed us into her home and made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was perfect for us, equipped kitchen, comfortable and outdoor cooking facilities. Lovely pool area. Nice and quiet. Beautiful walks. We were invited to a wine tasting evening and Suzon was a fantastic host and cooked the most beautiful ‘French tapas’! Great stay, thank you.

Great weekend at Fanny and Nicolas's. The house is great and so peaceful that we would like to stay there for a few weeks to recharge our batteries. Lots of activities available, a huge property with beautiful animals around. In short, just perfect. Otherwise the hosts are super responsive, the house is clean and very functional. No complaints, we'll be back.

We had a pleasant stay during a family reunion in this very pleasant cottage, perfectly suited for a group of 15 people. The house is impeccably clean, very comfortable, and ideally located in a peaceful setting by the river. The fireplace, with the logs provided, added a nice atmosphere to our evenings. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, which made group meals very easy to organize. Yohann, our host, was remarkable: attentive, available and always eager to meet our needs. He recommended a pleasant hike ending with tapas in a cellar near the house. Thanks to Yohann for hosting us. We recommend this cottage without a second thought and will be happy to come back!

We stayed at Mary and John’s cottage to attend a wedding at Chateau Soulac. It was perfect and we felt very lucky. Only 5mins drive from the wedding venue, it was ideal. The cottage is rustic and charming and very comfortable. We were there during warm days but cold nights and the heating was great - our six month old slept well. Mary and John were very welcoming and on hand for any queries. The cottage is kitted out with all the cooking and dining implements needed and all other amenities listed are as promised. The location is simply heaven - beautiful view of the Dordogne, with trees bordering a courtyard where you can watch red squirrels and enjoy the sunrise/sunset. We had a lovely long weekend and highly recommend.

Graeme and Anne were wonderful hosts, and their accommodation was lovely. We arrived much later than planned due to a delayed flight, but they welcomed us and got us settled in. The holiday started to go right as soon as we arrived. The property is beautiful, in a rural setting, and the photos are very accurate. We would love to stay again.

The location of the house, the garden, the terrace and the pool were a scoop. We lived almost outside. The house had necessary amenities. We love Duras very much and would love to come again.

We had a lovely stay at Jean Michel's house. Accommodation well equipped, warm and suitable for 10 people with children. The house is very well located near Saint Emilion. Host was very responsive to our requests and friendly. We recommend the place of the Château de la Rename!

We spent a lovely relaxing week in this beautiful part of the world as the start to our holiday with our 3 daughters aged 16, 14 and 10. Great cottage and pool, fantastic and attentive hosts (David and Carol) and easy proximity to Duras / night markets / supermarkets etc. Our daughters loved Bella the Goose who kept them entertained!
