Apartment vacation rentals in Lewes District

My husband and I just got back from our stay at The Lorelei apartment with our toddler, and have already bookmarked this as a firm favourite stay! I’m from Brighton so come back fairly regularly, and can safely say in comparison that this as a gem of an Airbnb. The interior styling is tasteful, fun and beautifully executed. It gives a hotel feel with super soft bedding, towels and eco friendly toiletries, but has the warmth and personality of a home from home. Hayley was so helpful and provided a high chair and toys for my son, and was happy to provide a cot and an extra blow up mattress if we needed it. I’m pregnant and don’t drink, so finding a bottle of Nozecco with a hand written card was so welcoming, and a lovely personal touch. We were so comfortable there we chose to stay in on our Saturday night, I had a refreshing rain shower, and we ordered a take away to enjoy in the evening sun on the patio. We had a delightful trip, and would love to return xxx

Great Place to stay. Great Value. Good Communication. Easy to get into Brighton with the buses . Nice Neighbourhood. Would highly recommend.

Had a very enjoyable stay . Very good location for the sea, the town ,and cliff walks to Seven Sisters all within easy reach. Place was spotess , all amenities provided. Lovely well equipped kitchen and very attractive shower room . Comfortable bed . In addition Steven Yvonne had left an assortment of milk and breakfast cereals eggs and bread for us enough for the week. Would stay again.

The garden is beautiful and very tranquil and the accommodation is very walkable from the South Downs Way - it would make a great stop off point. The accommodation was just as described with a very comfortable bed! Only one thing to note - it is in the basement of a large house and footsteps from above are audible. Only one person lives upstairs so any problems might depend on how sensitive you are to noise. Apart from this, it's a very quiet, peaceful location.

We had a lovely stay at Jane's flat. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Good parking and access to local trains. It felt nice and private but the hosts were on hand if we needed them and weree very responsive. Some lovely thoughtful touches, it was a real home from home and we would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you 👍

I use Airbnb allot, personally and professionally. I could not get into the hotel I was meant to be at for two nights so ended up here. I’m so sad that I did not then stay two nights. For working, the conservatory was lovely. Do not do a beach front hotel if you can stay here

Great place great host!!

Firstly, June was a good egg! Lovely lady and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. She was always there if we had any questions or needed anything. The flat was literally perfect for a couple of nights away. Clean, everything was new. The whole place was comfortable, bright and airy with an amazing little roof terrace to sit out on and have a morning coffee or a glass of wine at night. Loads of lovely little bars, cafes, shops, etc. within a stones throw and the beach is across the road. Its our first time in Brighton for 15 years or more and we were blown away by how nice the place is. Great shops, bars were all heaving, amazing vibe, great crowd. Honestly, the whole weekend was just what the Doctor ordered and we will be back. P.s, the bed was so comfy too!!!

We had a lovely visit to Brighton staying in Caroline’s place. Such a lovely outside area and great location. Really close to the beach and centre of town. Would recommend!

Great location for Brighton centre with beautiful views of the beach and pier. Flat was clean, spacious and very well equipped. The host kindly arranged an earlier check in which enabled us to properly start our break earlier. Communication was easy with clear instructions

We had a fabulous stay, only wished we had booked for longer, we didn’t want to leave. Jayne was warm , friendly and made us feel very welcome. The flat is very stylish, clean and comfortable, in a very peaceful leafy street. There were many thoughtful touches including a very much appreciated and delicious welcome hamper. The location and flat had everything we needed, exceeded expectations and we loved the vibrant independent shops, restaurants and bars.

A million dollar view of the sea! It’s breathtaking and a joy to sit in the sun room and watch the world go by with a panoramic view of the sea. Great communication with the hosts. They allowed us to drop off our luggage before check in time. Comfortable bed, the fresh flowers were a lovely touch. It’s a little out of the town but easily walkable along the front or through the characterful Kemptown. Grocery shops close by and plenty of restaurants around. We had a wonderful stay in the place perfect for a couple. Thank you!

Wow - the apartment was clean, comfy and had just about everything you could wish for! The food etc left for us was amazing too 😁 The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. It was so peaceful and relaxing we didn't want to leave! Wish we had booked for longer so we will definitely be back again soon 😁😁

We had a wonderful stay at your place. The bed was so comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. The swimming pool was stunning and the lovely warm temperature made it very relaxing. You were a fantastic host – very responsive and friendly. Thank you, and we would definitely stay again sometime

Charlotte was a fantastic host. The bottle of bubbly on arrival was a lovely touch too. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay in Charlotte's interesting and well loved home. The hot tub and roll top bath provided a great way to relax after visiting the beach and town. As artists the artwork on display made for great conversation points too. We feel inspired. Xx

Joanne was so welcoming on our arrival and had the hot tub heated up ready for us to use. Everything you could think of was there for us to use. Unfortunately we had a very busy weekend planned and wished we could have spent more time at the location. We have our next visit booked already and can't wait to use this accommodation another time, spending more time chatting with Joanne and hopefully getting to see more wildlife in the garden.

Ciera was fantastic! Very helpful, responsive and kind. The space was cozy and comfortable, very lovely. The heaters made the place very toasty which was just what we needed after a day out! The area was fab, and the location of the flat was very close to all the things we wanted to do. I’d highly reccomend this place!

Great home away from home, if you’re in Brighton and want to be close to the water. The loft was cheery and well-appointed for anything I needed. Everything I wanted to do in Brighton was just a short walk away, and it was convenient to be so close that I could pop back midday for a few minutes. Great communication by the host as well - I don’t think I ever waited more than a couple minutes for a friendly reply. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend doing the same to other visitors!

Great apartment with everything you could need. Easy access into town either walking or by bus stop just outside. Would recommended it as a place to stay and explore Brighton and the beautiful surrounding countryside too if that's your thing.

Me and boyfriend went for trip to Eastbourne for my birthday celebration. Very glad that we chose to stay in Isabella’s accommodation. Apartment was clean and felt like at home. Location is good, 15 min to rail station and 25 min to the sea side. Hot tub was a nice bonus to all of it.
