Vacation rentals with breakfast in Lewes District

Lovely stay, me and boyfriend was in the area for Tulleys Farm Shocktober festival, and wanted to make the weekend out of it. We did a hike on Saturday which was beautiful and then ended up in the Fox pub which was so warming and casual, then off to the festival later that evening - all in all a very humble weekend. And staying in this lovely home made it even better!

A beautiful home in tranquil surroundings - we felt so lucky to be able to stay in Nina’s home! It was spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped with everything we needed including a few complimentary snacks and drinks. The views were stunning and Nina gave us lots of helpful local tips if we wanted to venture out (although we rarely wanted to leave the house!) Thank you Nina!

Jo and Peter were superb hosts, friendly, informative with a delightful continental type breakfast too, we never felt rushed and they were very unassuming with their flexibility. We would definitely recommend a stay with them and intend ourselves to stay again.

Diets was a very friendly and helpful host. The BnB was exactly as shown in the pictures, if not better and was very homely.

I booked last minute and received a wonderful welcome from Babs :) Her home is beautiful, lovely bedroom , very comfy bed, lovely linen, spotlessly clean, well situated on a quiet residential street , just a block from lively Lewes road which has plenty restaurants/coffeeshops/bars as well as good bus connections ! Babs also provides complimentary tea/coffee , continental breakfast with fruit and yoghurt , which was an unexpected treat, she truly deserves the superhost accolade! I will gladly return in the future and would happily recommend Thanks Babs !!

Orsolya was really helpful in getting us set up in the house. It is definitely their home and it made us feel cosy and at home, too. The sauna was also great!

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

Thanks so much for a lovely end to our cycling trip. Linda was a great host, greeted us on arrival, and was always happy to answer any questions we have had. Apartment was very clean, spacious, beds comfortable. We nicely surprised by nice continental breakfast which was provided. Bathroom spotless, shampoo, soap etc…. provided. Location great in quiet part of Eastbourne, very close to South Downs Way, 10-15min walk to the waterfront and beach. Local shops, pub and cafe only couple of min walk away. Once again thanks for great stay!!!

Lovely space to spend a couple of days. Very countryside. June was a warm and helpful Host.

Alfred was a wonderful host, incredibly accommodating to us which was much appreciated as we travelled as a family of four for the first time, with a new baby and toddler in tow. The air bnb was great value and had everything we need. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely stay at Terry’s! Very clear and good instructions. Foods and drinks are truly appreciated. Plus secure parking! Would definitely chose this place anytime!

We stayed at the View for the weekend to celebrate my partners birthday and as a first holiday with our 5 month old puppy, Peaches. We had a lovely time, the house and grounds were stunning and so peaceful. We went for beautiful walks and bike ride and will recommend to anyone

Richard is a wonderful host, very thoughtful and going above and beyond that of a host. We asked for an early checkin which he was happy to accommodate, even offered to pick up my partner from the bus station, very sweet. The ‘savants quarters’ as he calls it were delightful, the view was amazing and we had a really comfortable stay. As Richard and his wife were away for the week we also had access to the kitchen which was lovely. We would recommend Richards place to anyone. Thanks again, Danielle

I booked Kate's AirBnB for my mom's visit and she had a lovely time. The AirBnB is separate from Kate and Ian's place and she had a lot of space to herself. The location is very close to London Road train station and Stoke Park, and walking distance to the high street. It also had all the amenities needed. Kate was really friendly and helpful. She provided helpful guidance about the place and the area (including things to do around town). She was also very responsive to messages and messaged if there was anything she wanted us to be aware of. Would recommend and would book again.

Fantastic location so close to the beach and pier. A really cosy and interesting flat which was lovely to come back to after a day exploring Brighton. We parked on Madeira Drive for the weekend which wasn’t very expensive and was close by. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay with everything we needed. We appreciated the breakfast food in the morning. Very nice location and a short walk to a beautiful beach stop. Recommended!!

From the moment I stepped into the house and met the host Jane, everything felt warm and welcoming. Jane is an incredibly nice and kind person. She proactively ask if I needed any help and kindly introduced places to visit nearby. She even invited me to attend her friend’s birthday dinner. Every morning, she thoughtfully prepared a healthy breakfast, including fruit salad, toast, coffee and more. Location: It was very easy to find the house by following the map from the train station. The room is located in a small alley just off the main street in the heart of Lewes, surrounded by lots of great restaurants and cafés. The weekend farmer’s market is just a one-minute walk away. I saw someone asking whether the house is warm enough — don’t worry. It can be chilly in Lewes during spring, but Jane keeps the heating on all the time. If you still feel cold, there's also a portable heater available. I didn’t need to use it, because it was already warm enough. I really loved staying here.

John & Mandy were great host. They kept our rooms ready with fresh towels and napkins. The space is filled with personal pictures and has a great character of its own. John was kind to make us proper English breakfast and made us feel really comfortable and special throughout our stay.

Patricia's house is lovely. My two teens and I stayed in three rooms at the top floor. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms very clean. The house has lots of historical features and is nicely decorated. Patricia made sure we had a great breakfast, with eggs, fruits, cakes and croissant. Polesden Lacey is only a 30-min walk from the house and the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunity for long nice walks. Nice spot for visiting this part of England.

Absolutely loved my stay in the shepherds hut, beautiful scenery of the land. Was very nice and clean. Hot tub was a nice addition to are stay as was the swing in the forest. I would definitely be coming back to sue as she was such a friendly host. And she gave us some nice recommendations of places to go and visit. And lovely homemade breakfasts brought to us every morning. Can’t wait to come back.

Jill was a fantastic host, so friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was super cosy and spotless and the house was lovely and full of charm. We didn’t manage to explore the immediate surroundings but it was very beautiful on our way to Brighton. Thanks Again Ben

Had a wonderful stay! The room was bright and cozy, located in the attic, offering a lovely sense of privacy even though it was part of the same house. It was perfect for three people — comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. We also really appreciated the generous vegan breakfast provided, tailored to our dietary requirements. This was our first time using Airbnb, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Rachel and Morgan were super helpful and made us feel very welcome. On top of that, everything was very reasonably priced, especially considering there was no minimum two-night stay requirement like many other places. It truly made the stay even better. Would highly recommend! Thank you :)

Lovely place , weekend stay right on a farm lots of wildlife from cows sheep horses birds and bats , and not to forget Mac and Bumble the hosts dogs always there to greet you when returning back from a visit out , Host lovely friendly and helpful very relaxed stay did us a treat , Jane even stoked up the stove (fire ) for us , it was a lovely weekend .

Bright, airy and well thought out accommodation with lots of attention to detail and outdoor space. Breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, warm croissants etc was plentiful and delicious. On street parking was not a problem. Access to the garden room is through Sue’s kitchen which is not a problem as she is very warm and friendly.
