The Hayloft is an excellent place to stay. Everything was perfect for us, from initial communication, finding the venue, warm welcome, lovely place to stay, walking distance to both lovely curry house and local racecourse. A peaceful venue with everything we needed. Short drive to the beach as well. Would highly recommend to anyone who is staying in this area. We will be back!

Thank you Elizabeth for such a relaxing,stress free stay. Everything exactly as described, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and really appreciated the whole range of cooking equipment. Although Elizabeth, the perfect host, informed us of the many eateries and nearby attractions (virtually all dog friendly) of which we availed ourselves. Did I mention the garden and paddocks are beautiful.

Beautiful place to stay. The views are wonderful and lots of nature and wildlife. Suite is a great size, we enjoyed having a glass of fizz on the balcony in the sunshine. The host was very responsive and there's a lovely pub a short walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hilary’s cottage - stunning and peaceful surroundings lovely touches of bread milk butter home made jam and marmalade . Beds extremely comfortable and the house beautifully cool in the extreme temperatures we experienced these last 4 days. It’s not posh (Hilary says this herself) but has charm and character. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again. Hilary is a charming hostess

A beautiful and spacious accommodation. Well equipped kitchen. A perfect place to come back to and relax in after exploring the delights of Shoreham. Super comfy bed. Lovely garden with seating area.

Stayed here for one night before catching ferry from Newhaven. Wonderful property, clean and comfortable and in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Easy private access with parking on a driveway in front of the house. Perfect

We had a perfect stay at Gail's place, this is our best Airbnb stay so far: The location is private and peaceful, but it is not too remote as it is just a short drive to nearby towns like Arundel. Gail has been a fantastic host, she is friendly, sweet, and thoughtful easy to communicate to. She prepared a generous welcome basket for us which became our breakfast. She also sent us an useful local guide. The place itself is super cosy and clean. It has all the amenities that one will require on a few days trip. The kitchen is so well-equipped with nice teas and hot chocolate. The bed itself is comfortable, every morning we woke up to a beautiful patio view, and beautiful birds chirping song. The toilet space is big and clean, it also has strong water pressure and thick and comfy towel. Gail has also decorated her place tastefully. Overall, my partner and I have definitely shared a memorable trip together thanks to Gail's place. We would highly recommend this place. Brian&Kate

I stayed at Gemma and Adam’s airbnb whilst down in West Sussex for work. It was the perfect base which I felt right at home at. Gemma and Adam had left a list of local recommendations - places to eat, things to do etc - which was so helpful. The space was bright, cosy & clean. I’ll definitely be back if I’m ever visiting the area again.

Great location, spotlessly clean! I was attending a reunion party at The Grey Lady and didn’t want to drive back to London that night so was pleased it was no more than a 12 minute walk from the Pantilles. I am pleased to have found Suzanne’s annexe. It would have been better value if I could have booked it for just the one night (minimum 2 night stay is required) but as my two adult children and a friend were also coming, it worked out as only a little more expensive than 2 rooms in an hotel for one night! It is the perfect place for a couple and two young children. For our purposes one night on the children’s bunk bed as adults was enough. That said, it was clearly stated as being a kid’s bunk so no criticism there! And the double bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this BnB. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained, and we felt at home the moment we arrived. Julie is a wonderful host. Very warm, welcoming and attentive. The little touches made all the difference: fresh flowers, delicious bread, and a few other thoughtful goodies that made us feel truly cared for. If you're looking for a calm, peaceful getaway, this is the place. We left feeling completely recharged and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Wonderful annex situated in beautiful county setting. Everything and more that you need for a short break and exceedingly comfortable. Would highly recommend.

We visited for a birthday trip to the surrounding vineyards (Wiston & Kinsbrook) - Christopher was super responsive and friendly and even accommodated an early check in to support our lunch/tasting! The air bnb is as pictured in a nice, peaceful location surrounded by the countryside (our ideal). The host also provided a guest book with great recommendations for local breakfasts etc. As someone from Sussex, it's a great base to explore the local countryside, South Downs and numerous vineyards!

We had a lovely time here. The annexe was really everything we needed for a long weekend. So many thoughful touches. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. The radio was playing gently when we got there and some biscuits had been left for our arrival. Sheets to cover the sofa were provided so we didn't have to worry about our black furry dog ruining anything. We usually bring our own but it was all thought of. My dog was made most welcome which is really important to us. He loved playing with Martha and exploring in the woods. Such a tranquil place. We barely heard a woof out of him he was so relaxed. We look forward to returning one day.

I had the pleasure of staying at Anette and Peter's stunning barn conversion, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The beauty of this place is truly remarkable; the interior is absolutely wonderful, making it possible to spend all day inside without even feeling the need to explore the surrounding area. It is 100% worth the value you are paying. Anette and Peter were incredibly welcoming and friendly, providing us with plenty of helpful recommendations for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would not hesitate to return for a long weekend. This is a perfect location for anyone who loves walking in nature and experiencing the breathtaking English countryside. It is also a very short drive to Tunbridge Wells, with a handful of lovely pubs nearby for lunch and dinner. We also appreciated that we could bring our dog, who enjoyed playing with Anette and Peter's dog, keeping everyone entertained :)

I stay here at least once a year, and have done for a few now. The standards in the Annex are very high, always spotless and clean throughout. Everything you need is always there so it's becoming a home from home for me. Unlike other places I have stayed in the standards never drop, and your never taken for granted. Christy and Nick are always welcoming, responsive and above all helpful if needed. I have not met better hosts like these ever. Many thanks for another very pleasant stay, and see you next year if not before.

This was my second visit and I would be happy to go again. It is clean and cosy and has such a peaceful garden to sit in. It is only a ten minute walk to the seafront. It’s the perfect place for a quiet weekend getaway.

Lorna was an excellent host. Due to personal circumstances I enquired if I could drop some things off late morning, hours before check in, and Lorna kindly let me do it. She also left some breakfast items and a great array of teas. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and even a small desk for anyone needing to work from there.

thank you for the amazing stay! everything was well organised, and there was plenty of space! super easy parking and deborah was so friendly and kind, we couldn’t have had a better stay! perfect for getting in and out of brighton too. very useful amenities and a clean comfortable space. both my partner and i had a lovely weekend away and will hopefully be back again soon! wonderful place and wonderful people❤️
