Apartment vacation rentals in East Sussex

Lovely space to spend a couple of days. Very countryside. June was a warm and helpful Host.

The flat was homely and cosy with everything you need. Caroline was a great host, she is very friendly, honest and attentive. She even gave some fresh hydrangeas which were lovely and nice to have on the windowsill. Me and my partner came down for my birthday to explore and get some peace and quite. Highly recommended the hike up to the top of Beachy Head cliff and the local Thai restaurant was divine. The walk to the beach front is just round the corner, town centre is also walking distance with lots of shops, restaurants and bars/pubs.

It was truly a five star stay at Sue’s place! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and a great location, walkable to both Kemptown and Brighton. Sue is a wonderful host, super helpful and responds quickly to communication. Would definitely stay again!

The place was such a quirky, lovely space. The main bathroom with double shower and steam room stood out and the flexible living space. Was perfect location and especially with parking so close to the pier etc it was great value for money. Hosts were fab, attentive and responsive when needed. Thank you for having us and we would definitely stay again.

It was a good place to stay. I am really avid cook and so could have used with bit more upscale kitchen items, but other than that it was a solid and good place to stay

This apartment is superbly located in a lovely town full of charming pubs, cafes, bakeries, boutique shops, and restaurants—all just a short walk away. We enjoyed being able to pop down the road for delicious coffees to bring back and savour. The apartment itself had great exposed beams, and we found the bathroom and kitchen excellent. The bedrooms were a bit smaller than we expected, with limited storage and slightly compact beds, but the premium location and historic charm of the building made up for it. If you're heading to the beach, we recommend Winchelsea over Camber.

We had such a lovely time at Jess’s. The apartment was perfect with so many thoughtful touches including eye masks, milks in the fridge, lots of teas and coffees and a huge assortment of toiletries. The kitchen had everything we needed as well to make a nice breakfast etc. The apartment is surrounded by fields and has stunning views of the countryside around including their little chicken house and the goats in the field. It’s really a perfect little gem to enjoy the beautiful Sussex countryside from. We would love to stay again!

This was a wonderful place to stay and explore. The garden was absolutely wonderful and much appreciated by all guests of two and four legs. Wonderfully clean, bright and spacious rooms. We had a wonderful time and are very grateful for the stay. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect base for being in Brighton to run the marathon. Check-In was easy, the apartment was spotlessly clean, bright and airy and the balcony was a beautiful little sun trap. The location was also perfect and was easy to walk to the cafes and restaurants in Kemptown, and further on in to Brighton. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here, you won't regret it!

My parents stayed at Natalia's place while visiting me in Brighton. They loved how comfortable, clean and warm her apartment is. Before check-in Natalia messaged us clear instructions and we didn't need to ask any more details. The whole apartment was spotless and well organised. Beds are comfortable, there's a big dining table with several seats for a family meal, and the apartment is cozy and spacious. The shower and the appliances work well. The area is quiet and there are several local pubs and takeout restaurants within easy reach. It's just a walk down the hill to be right in the Brighton centre, and the Hanover area itself is lovely. It was my parents' first time in the UK and they had a great time also thanks to this lovely stay at Natalia's.

Tanya’s place is absolutely wonderful! Set right on the seafront, it has the most amazing view and is so bright all throughout the day. The sun through the window lights up the flat so beautifully. It’s in a great location between St Leonard’s and Hastings so you can easily reach and explore both. We would love to come back again one day and enjoy the scenery even more. Thank you Tanya!

Would definitely recommend for a stay in Brighton, being right on the beach with parking is a massive bonus as it saves on paying for parking if you're driving! Great kitchen if you're wanting to cook but also so central you have everything you need on your doorstep. Very friendly and helpful hosts!

I was on a solo trip looking for some quiet time, but right in town, and the flat was just perfect! The space feels intimate as there's no buildings right in front of the windows, and I loved sipping my tea by the bay window looking at a portion of the blue sea. The tiny bathroom has fluffy towels and everything you need, and the bed is comfy with nice sheets. The hosts are super responsive and very friendly. In less than a 5-minute walk, you are by the sea and by some cool cafes. The sitting room is just as shown in the picture, so in the end I invited my friend "chez moi" for a cuppa rather than going out! Train station 15 mins walk away and the bus stops right in front of the building.

We had a great stay in a lovely apartment perfect for our long weekend. Nice private road in easy walking distance of town and seafront and used as a base for the Brighton Marathon weekend. Would definitely recommend it if looking to stay in that area again.

We had the best stay at 5 the lawn. Jude’s attention to detail is insane and the place is simply outstanding. Everything was so picturesque. Jude was a great host, she ensured we had everything and made sure to let us know if we needed anything at all she was just a message away. Jude was a massive help in recommending a local decorating company and ensuring everything was set up for our arrival. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his birthday getaway. We will for sure be returning. Thank you Jude for an unreal stay.

This was a fantastic airbnb and we'd definitely recommend. The bedroom was lovely, we slept very well, and the alway-on hot tub was a treat. Very minor points to improve for future guests - the WiFi instructions were out of date and the shower gel container empty

Jo is one of the best Airbnb hosts we’ve ever met. She’s such a lovely and genuinely helpful person. My partner and I stayed for a night after visiting Pooh Corner, Ashdown Forest, and many other charming places nearby. Everything was perfect. Jo made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Her home is beautiful, the hot tub was incredibly relaxing, and there’s so much to do in the area. We highly recommend staying at Jo’s place. Thank you for everything.

We had a great stay, and the house had everything we needed! lovely on the inside and perfectly located in eastbourne, just a short walk from the sea!

Zainab and Ciara were both really responsive and friendly. The property was nicely decorated and spacious. Only thing I would mention is that if the Dentist is open, you can hear a lot of what’s going on upstairs, but we stayed on Fri-Sun so as soon as the dentist closed it was very nice and quiet.
