Hotel vacation rentals in East Sussex

Awesome location, Melanie is an amazing host! So welcoming, and the breakfast was wonderful! The common area is also nice and the rooms are quaint. I didn’t want to knock a star for these few things, but just to inform: 1) the walls are quite thing; if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise (can hear surroundings) 2) was unfortunately quite hot; the fan isn’t super strong and the window doesn’t catch a good breeze so in the summer it’s definitely toasty at night Overall though really appreciate the hospitality 🙏 thank you for everything

Paul's place was exactly as described, very comfortable and perfect for one person! The place is off a main road, so it can be noisy at night. Great location, so close to the sea and shops. Would definitely stay again.

Really nice place to stay. Walking distance from Brighton centre with all the bars and restaurants etc. Parking close to property but not outside. Not really an issue for us.Very good communication from host David ref check in and out. All in all really great stay with no issues.

This is a really nice place to stay. Rooms were fully booked out so had to stay in two separate rooms over two nights which was no bother. Host was super helpful with bags and keys and local info. Nice breakfast in restaurant downstairs in morning too! Lovely quirky old bank, we loved the bathroom being in the old safe/strongroom.

I don’t often leave reviews but felt compelled to after such a fantastic stay here. The room is stunning, the bed is super comfortable and that bath… absolute heaven! We stayed here as part of a trip to chapel down and it was the ideal location just 5 mins drive away. Beautiful town lots going on, we ate downstairs in the pub and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent hospitality and food. A little noisy in the evening but what can you expect it is an old building and noise travels, but the noise stops by 11pm latest. Great honesty bar on site and a lovely little lounge next to the restaurant but an after dinner tipple. Will stay again! Thank you!

Nice warm, cosy room that lets in lots of natural light and has nice furniture and comfy bed. One not so good thing was that the room was right by the front door of the building that people seemed to want to slam. Maybe a (Please close the door quietly!) sign might be good on that door? Other than that, I felt very relaxed in that room. I especially liked the modern door keypad which meant I didn't have to bring a key out with me (so also no risk of key loss). The location is really nice. It's a few minutes walk from the pier and also not far from loads of shops, restaurants and pubs etc. The reception staff made me feel very welcome.

Sara is fantastic. She is so friendly and went above and beyond communicating, telling me that there was a train strike affecting Rye which I didn’t know and helping me find alternate train connection. Her hotel is beautiful and right in the heart of town. Thank you for a lovely stay!

In an ideal location, right by the beach and pier . The place was clean and had plenty of room for the two of us. The owners sent over a pack with lots of recommendations of things to do as well as parking near by. Would definitely stay again
