House vacation rentals in Leigh-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea

Hina always replies straight away, had to clean kitchen and Hina refunded the costs, caravan is in a good spot, walking distance to beach and arcades, driving distance to superstore, passes for clubhouse are very expensive, kitchen could do with more plates, bowls, cutlery as not enough for amount of people that can be accommodated, sharp knives, chopping board, baking trays and cooking utensils as none supplied in caravan, have messaged Hina directly about this. enjoyed our stay but had to eat out due to kitchen issues but would book again if everything was put in the kitchen, the caravan is lovely and spacious so plenty of room for everyone to have space. nice to have parking space outside caravan and the fob to get back in barrier after being out instead of having to be let in. The price for the week was very reasonable. Easy check-in if the people beforehand leave on time so the cleaners can get in on time. Hina was very apologetic about having to wait but it wasn't Hina fault.

We booked this place last minute, but it turned out to be a great choice. A large property that amply accommodated our group.

My family and I stayed at Nigrita’s delightful little apartment whilst holidaying in England visiting relatives. From check in until check out the hosting was communicative, quick and incredibly accommodating. In addition there are fantastic walks in the Essex countryside on your doorstep! we would love to stay again.

Ria’s place was fantastic.Great location minutes from the sea front.Spotless clean and everything you needed was there .Very good selection of toys which the baby loved.Everything was so easy to use from the shower to the hob and oven etc . Ria even made arrangements to have the house ready for us from 11am when we enquired if we could just drop our bags off early as we’d been travelling from 4 am. That to us was an amazing gesture 🤩

Stayed at Andy’s house in between moves and it was great Had everything we needed and also extras such as soap/toilet paper / milk/teabags/coffee- very thoughtful Andy was very helpful and responded to all my queries, nothing was too much trouble Would definitely recommend

We spent a very happy Christmas at the house visiting relatives in the area. The house is well appointed and extremely comfortable - though you do need to be a fan of soft beds (which I am). Everything worked and was scrupulously clean. The only problem we had was that the fuse for the cooker and oven had been tripped before we arrived but there was a rapid response to our (panicky) phone call and we were able to locate the fuse board. The area only has one small shop but it's a fairly quick walk or train ride to the town. Overall very nice stay and we had lots to do around Southend including the pantomime and the Helen Mirren phone box / museum! Worth a quick look. (I think it was on the corner of Alexander Road and Cashiobury Terrace). Anyway, thank you.

We stayed at Ian's for 6 nights & we found the house clean & comfortable. The beds were really comfortable & the area was quiet. It was lovely having the garden especially as the weather was dry & sunny. We now live in Scotland & travelled down south to visit friends & family & as we know the area reasonably well this location was ideal. Ian was available if we had any queries & he was a great host

Great place to stay for a work trip

Excellent communication. Property is a central and convenient location in Basildon with good city links and local amenities.

The house was lovely and clean and John was a great host. Responded to any enquiries from when I first booked and also on the day of our stay, messaged me back straight away.

Really nice and clean, easy check in instructions. Was small but was nicely decorated. You are in their garden when you stay there but the owner has good privacy measures in the air b&b so no one can see in.

Fantastic facilities for a big group weekend away; we were a group of 18 and had plenty of space and the sleeping arrangements were great. The property has been redeveloped to accommodate large groups. Karen was very helpful before and after the booking, asking about bedroom set up (twin vs double) and also giving instructions around check-in and check-out. The garden is fantastic and we enjoyed making use of that and the hot tub! We also had caterers in on the Saturday night who had cooked at the venue before and the enormous dining table was brilliant for our celebration.
