House vacation rentals in Leigh-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea

We booked this place last minute, but it turned out to be a great choice. A large property that amply accommodated our group.

Hina always replies straight away, had to clean kitchen and Hina refunded the costs, caravan is in a good spot, walking distance to beach and arcades, driving distance to superstore, passes for clubhouse are very expensive, kitchen could do with more plates, bowls, cutlery as not enough for amount of people that can be accommodated, sharp knives, chopping board, baking trays and cooking utensils as none supplied in caravan, have messaged Hina directly about this. enjoyed our stay but had to eat out due to kitchen issues but would book again if everything was put in the kitchen, the caravan is lovely and spacious so plenty of room for everyone to have space. nice to have parking space outside caravan and the fob to get back in barrier after being out instead of having to be let in. The price for the week was very reasonable. Easy check-in if the people beforehand leave on time so the cleaners can get in on time. Hina was very apologetic about having to wait but it wasn't Hina fault.

My family and I stayed at Nigrita’s delightful little apartment whilst holidaying in England visiting relatives. From check in until check out the hosting was communicative, quick and incredibly accommodating. In addition there are fantastic walks in the Essex countryside on your doorstep! we would love to stay again.

Our second time at Boatswain's Cottage and it was just as lovely. Sweet touches such as a Christmas tree and a welcome bottle of wine and posh biscuits were much appreciated. The cottage is well designed, perfectly equipped and the owners swift to answer all and any queries.

Sarah really went out of her way to ensure we were taken care of ! The home is absolutely gorgeous. I was praised in the group for finding such a beautiful place. I lowkey want to gatekeep this place and keep it all to myself, ahaha but honestly this home was so lovely, and peaceful.

Ria’s place was fantastic.Great location minutes from the sea front.Spotless clean and everything you needed was there .Very good selection of toys which the baby loved.Everything was so easy to use from the shower to the hob and oven etc . Ria even made arrangements to have the house ready for us from 11am when we enquired if we could just drop our bags off early as we’d been travelling from 4 am. That to us was an amazing gesture 🤩

Stayed at Andy’s house in between moves and it was great Had everything we needed and also extras such as soap/toilet paper / milk/teabags/coffee- very thoughtful Andy was very helpful and responded to all my queries, nothing was too much trouble Would definitely recommend

Really nice and clean, easy check in instructions. Was small but was nicely decorated. You are in their garden when you stay there but the owner has good privacy measures in the air b&b so no one can see in.

Stunning High end finished property in a lovely part of Leigh-on-Sea. The host was terrific with helping us have a truly good stay. The house is literally the best Airbnb we have stayed in this area. The garden is a terrific space and lovely views over the estuary and with sunrise to sunset it has a wonderful position. The place was immaculate and far exceeded our expectations. With all the walkable restaurants, shops and bars it's difficult to check out and not want to move in full time. Really worth booking if you can get in at any time. Thank you!

We spent a very happy Christmas at the house visiting relatives in the area. The house is well appointed and extremely comfortable - though you do need to be a fan of soft beds (which I am). Everything worked and was scrupulously clean. The only problem we had was that the fuse for the cooker and oven had been tripped before we arrived but there was a rapid response to our (panicky) phone call and we were able to locate the fuse board. The area only has one small shop but it's a fairly quick walk or train ride to the town. Overall very nice stay and we had lots to do around Southend including the pantomime and the Helen Mirren phone box / museum! Worth a quick look. (I think it was on the corner of Alexander Road and Cashiobury Terrace). Anyway, thank you.

Paula's house was in a great location, a 5 minute walk from lots of great restaurants especially the South Indian restaurant the Grand Cochin. It was also perfect for us as there was a private, off street parking space. It ticked all the boxes.
