A house in the middle of the mountains, a few minutes drive from the nearest town of Santa Lucia.... there it is absolutely quiet and the scenery with mountains is incredibly beautiful! Very rarely you can hear a car passing by and sometimes dog barking or the rooster every now and then. Wonderful!!! We lived in the upper apartment which looks exactly like in the photos. Esther lives right next door along with 2 dogs and a cute white cat. The pool was great for swimming and you could have breakfast in the sun in October from about half past eleven in the morning. The house was not so easy to find, but Esther was available by phone and kindly picked us up by car in Santa Lucia and drove to the place in front of us! Esther was friendly, the house was very clean and equipped with everything you need (incl. Orange press). We highly recommend this place and would be happy to come back!

Our stay at Marga and Alberto’s apartment near Las Palmas was nothing short of magical! Nestled in a peaceful rural area, the location offered the perfect balance of serene countryside charm and easy access to the vibrant energy of Las Palmas. Waking up to birdsong and breathtaking views every morning was a dream. Marga and her son Alberto were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like family, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed for our month-long stay. The apartment itself was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped for a long-term stay. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, the bed was comfy, and the private outdoor space became our favorite spot to unwind. The peacefulness of the surroundings made it ideal for recharging, yet we were just a short drive from beaches, restaurants, and city life.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights in Manuel's apartment and were fully satisfied. Manuel was immediately available, always responding to my messages. He personally welcomed us and was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment is as pictured, suitable for two people and very clean. The kitchen is well-stocked, the bathroom is small but has everything you need. The terrace overlooking the sea is beautiful and we were able to have breakfast there enjoying the view. Super quiet location and easily accessible by car from the airport.

We had a nice five days/nights at Alberto's place. The location is beautiful - great views from the large terrace. Very quiet and peaceful setting. We were quite comfortable and felt safe and secure. The kitchen was well equipped, the internet and TV were great, and the apartment is quite spacious. The bed was OK but not great. We really only had written communication with Alberto before check-in and at check-out. He generally provided all the info we needed. No face to face contact. Be aware that there are 55 or so steps from street level down to the apartment. Not a problem for us but could be a concern for some.

The villa was very nice exactly as described, communication with the Host (Fabio )was good he was there to meet us, he also arranged a taxi etc for our return to the airport. It is approximately a 30-minute walk to the Beach, or 20 minutes to the Yumbo centre, there is a Lidle supermarket only 5 mints away, we had a great time over Christmas and new year.

wonderful quiet area with a great view. Maurice and Marga have decorated the apartment and garden very tastefully. If you like peace and nature, you will love this place. In reality, the apartment looks even nicer than in the photos.

Friendly host and easy check-in. The apartment was according to the description and pictures. I had everything I needed for my stay. Clean place. Would recommend to stay here if going to Soria.

I’ve had a lovely stay. Jesus and his friend were very friendly, communication was great, they even made me breakfast and we’ve had some nice chats. They also gave me an extra, warm duvet, which I was grateful For as I tend to get cold at night. The place is nice and spacious, surrounded by a lovely garden. The main gate is locked but there is no lock on the actual room. It felt safe anyway as it’s at the very bottom of a quiet street. Plenty of parking. Toilet and kitchen is in the main house. There is a kettle in the room.

We really enjoyed the time at this wonderful place and the tranquility. The apartment is nicely furnished and well equipped for self-catering, we didn't miss anything. Alina welcomed us warmly and was also very accommodating at checkout. Communication was absolutely straightforward and friendly. An unrestricted recommendation!

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful bungalow! It was the perfect holiday escape—peaceful, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped with everything I could possibly need. The kitchen had all the essentials (and more), making it easy to cook and feel at home. The space was spotless, tastefully decorated, and really comfortable. The hosts were wonderful—welcoming, responsive, and made check-in super smooth. I also loved the outdoor area

I really liked my staying there. Everything was like promised. People was super nice there and the volunteers were lovely and helpful. The historic area of Vegueta is so beautiful and is nice genuine people living there. Everything you need is close, like food markets, cafeterias and bus station. Special thanks to Bruno and Andreas, they welcomed me so warmly.

Nice place to stay. When you open the front door you are immediately in the large living room. Unfortunately, fresh air can only be let in when the apartment door is open or via the window in the next room (kitchen). However, the large apartment door has a light opening, so that daylight can also shine into the room if you like. If you come from the apartment, you will have an magnificent view of the sea and the city. The Botanical Garden is a 5-minute walk away. The really beautiful old town is less than 5 minutes away and also here a beautiful city park offers an opportunity to recharge your batteries. The bus station and other bus stops are within walking distance. It's a bit difficult with a car - while it's true that 2 free parking spaces are marked right in front of the house, but these are almost always occupied, as the residents of the whole street use them. You then have to plan a 10-minute walk to the car, so to speak. We only went by public transport and were looking forward to the walks to the old town or to the bus stop The apartment offers everything you need - always hot water, refrigerator, fan and the free internet connection was very good. The landlords are very sweet and would have been there for us if we had wished. Even with storm warning, the hosts were concerned about us and we were there to help and help us - they were always quick to reach. If you don't need a parking spot in front of the apartment, this apartment is highly recommended! Thanks to Maria and Chris :-)

I loved every second of my time in Mariano's gaf. as soon as met him I loved him. he's a no nonsense kind of dude. he's like a big brother. I crashed out big time and the lads working were obviously far out psychedelic dudes. I think this place is magic. it's not for squares.you have been advised.

Perfect welcome, perfect home

We loved staying at Maria’s as our home base while we explored Gran Canaria. The kitchen was great and allowed us to cook many meals (necessary for an extended stay). My husband and I were both able to work comfortably using the WiFi and the desk provided. Maria was very responsive and helpful, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful which was perfect for us.

Was a peaceful private place in the valley, was unfortunate that the weather was cloudy when we were there but that can't be helped. There's a beautiful local restaurant only a 5 minute walk away that serves great food at great prices, this was recommended to us by the host. Need a car to be able to stay there as Maspalomas is around a 15 minute drive away. Hope to come again!
