Villa Toledo

PaulRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our family of 5 stayed in Villa Toledo in Feb 25 and I very impressed and pleased with our stay. We love Lanzarote but have particularly fallen in love with Los Pocillos which was quiet, relaxing and beautiful. We hoped to book in February 2026 but unfortunately availability is limited but we will certainty be looking to book Villa Toledo February 2027 as it is a really great location with a great host in Patricia. Thank You, Stewart Family from Scotland.

Villa Alessia, Playa Blanca

MarionRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great detached house. Very quiet, the neighbors are all considerate and quiet. There is also a dishwasher, which we did not expect. Private parking space. Approximately 500 m away, just over 10 good restaurants. The pool is clean, heated and well maintained. Plenty of towels with good quality are provided. The property was also cleaned once during our 14-day stay, including new bed linens and towels. The pool was also maintained once. We would mist definitely visit again. A rental car is of course mandatory for such a place.

We enjoyed our stay immensely & found everything at the house to be great. Only things missing were tea towels & oven gloves but these were delivered by the staff on request. Excellent attentive service - good communication & availability- no issues at all. Easy check in/out. Great touches like books/games & welcome food items. Good online guest area/info provided. Compact space but great location just back from the sea front. Thank you very much!

Duck House

Anne-MarieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Casa Pato is perfect for a family vacation. The outdoor area has lots of lounge areas and the pool was always a lovely temperature. Indoors has everything you need. The welcome pack was a nice touch and it was nice to see the basics of oils, tin foil etc. There is a shop, playground and football pitch on your door step, with the beach a small stroll away. We would highly recommend this location.

Once again we had a most wonderful time at the villa. I do not think it is very likely one can find a better view at an Airbnb than this place has. We would have really liked to stay there next year (2026) as well, but bookings more than a year in advance are now becoming a reality!

Guillermo and Ellen were amazing hosts! So friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The apartment was in a quiet residential area so it was nice a peaceful with no noise at night. They are really friendly and live in close proximity to the apartment if anything goes wrong. Guillermo even offered to drive us to the airport if our taxi didn’t arrive on time. I would have no hesitation on recommending this place to a friend. Thanks again for a great stay!

Amazing Sea Views-Villa Delfin- 1 Bed Apt

MelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Perfect apartment for what we paid, exceptionally clean, nice private little garden, perfect location. This apartment had everything you would need for a self catering holiday. If I was to be picky, I would say it could do with some blinds/curtains in the kitchen and dining area, it’s quite overlooked but not necessary in a bad way, it’s just that the curtains would offer more privacy should you want it, although this wouldn’t put me off returning. Overall nothing to complain about from us, we had a very enjoyable break. Ellin was very responsive and a really friendly/accommodating host. Would recommend and we would certainly return. Thank you Ellin.

Wonderful Villa Buenaventura

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was excellent - private, stylish, spacious, and relaxingly peaceful. It had everything advertised and more to make the stay completely comfortable. The villa is larger than we expected with four good sized bedrooms, and modern ensuites in all rooms. All items provided were of decent quality. There was an extensive supply of all kitchen materials, crockery, cutlery and even things like the Dolce Gusto coffee machine were appreciated. The pool was warm and easy to operate the cover. The sitting area outside was lovely, with plenty of seating for sociable outdoor relaxation and dining. We found the beds to be harder than we'd like, and the sun loungers would benefit from padded covers. The dishwasher was broken on arrival and not fixed by the time we left - this would make things difficult for large groups. Worth checking that this is resolved before booking. There is easy access to several very good restaurants and a couple of well stocked supermarkets just 7 mins walk away.

Casa Vida Hermosa. Private Heated Pool, 6 guests

JoannaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely villa, as the photos, especially the outdoor space. Where there was sun and shade throughout the day. The communication was easy and Darren did check in that we were getting on well. I would recommend having a hire car or using taxis as the nearest supermarket for essentials is quite a walk. There are lots of amazing walks nearby, especially Papagayo. We weren’t able to connect to the internet or watch TV whilst we were there which was disappointing but we managed to do what was essential via our phones. There were people in the properties either side of the villa and it was still peaceful.

Casa Bonita: great sea views and private pool

RobinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed the house, the pool, the bbq and the beautiful view. The location of the house is ideal to explore the island with both the north and the south only 30 minutes drive away. The "insider tips" (among others Playa Quemada and the nearby Teleclub) made it complete. Hope to come again for kitesurfing at Famara.

Lovely accommodation right next to the sea, in a friendly village. Many evenings we watched Dolphins out to sea and you can see some great birds from the apartment terrace (Spanish Sparrows nest in the Palm trees right outside). Many more birds and flowers can be seen on short walks around the village. The apartment is comfortable, spacious and peaceful. You could easily never leave the area with everything you could need only a short walk away. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Your guide to Lanzarote

All About Lanzarote

Sitting off the coast of West Africa, the Canary Islands are a world-class vacation destination beloved for their turquoise waters and beautiful lounge-ready beaches. Lanzarote is the most northern and eastern of the Canaries, known for its spectacular lava flows. Pay a visit to Timanfaya National Park to experience the otherworldly volcanic landscape firsthand, then spend the rest of your trip exploring the Spanish island’s 132 miles of vibrant coastline. From swimming the crystal waters of Playa Blanca in the southwest to windsurfing at Costa Teguise and snorkeling the green lagoon of a volcanic cone at El Golfo, there’s no shortage of water attractions to keep you busy. For a pinch of history, the former capital of Teguise is worth a visit for its 16th-century architecture and imposing castle erected to protect the island from pirates.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Lanzarote

Thanks to the northeasterly trade winds and Canary current, Lanzarote experiences a pleasant year-round tropical climate. Spring is a glorious time to visit, when the wildflowers are blooming and the beaches aren’t too packed. The island’s rich cultural calendar offers exciting ways to experience the island throughout the year. Carnival, which falls in February or March, is huge here, and features a parade of floats, costumes, live music, and dancing. In June, the San Juan celebration marks the beginning of summer, with bonfires lit around the island, folk music, and roasted corn on the cob. The Visual Music Festival of Lanzarote takes place in October, offering a unique combination of contemporary and avant-garde music with the island’s natural landscapes.

Top things to do in Lanzarote

Timanfaya National Park

Created by a series of volcanic eruptions in the 18th and 19th centuries, Timanfaya National Park is an otherworldly landscape that shouldn’t be missed. Two standout hikes — Termesana Route Trail and Coastal Route Trail — allow you to traverse the jagged coastline and desolate lava fields on foot. The park also runs a bus tour that can shuttle you around to the main sites, such as Islote de Hilario volcano.

Arrecife

Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote, is a once-rusting fishing district that’s since transformed into a buzzing pedestrian quarter featuring a footbridge spanning the waters. Wander the streets lined with bright-white fishermen’s cottages and stop for a snack at one of the nearby restaurants offering papas arrugadas (baked small potatoes served with chili sauce) and other Canarian dishes with views of the boats bobbing on the waters.

Jameos del Agua

Jameos del Agua is a unique volcanic tunnel and cavern with a spectacular combination of nature and art. The cave, which features a seawater pond, is adorned with palm trees, cacti, and lush ferns, offering striking contrast against the dark volcanic rock. The area is illuminated with colorful lights and is home to an underground concert venue and restaurant.
