Nice, clean, quaint little cottage among the vineyards in the French countryside. Nice amenities like a jacuzzi, and an adorable cat to greet us daily. Would recommend to anyone looking for a little peace and quiet!

Excellent stay, pleasant, charming and relaxing place, a nice decor in a really cute place. Alexandra and her husband are very pleasant and responsive, a pleasure to come across hosts like them. The place is perfectly equipped, you can't miss anything. Very good hot tub, very nice and completely private, available when you want and it's a pleasure. Remote accommodation, quiet and yet close to shops, very well located. Unbeatable value for money, I'll be back without worries:)

We really enjoyed our stay here! 4 adults and 3 children aged 10-14. The villa is amazing with everything you could possibly need. It has been renovated to a very high standard which blends the modern and the traditional seamlessly. Beautiful views, quiet location, lovely pool. We really could not fault it. We have hired many villas and apartments over the years and this one is at the top level. All made better by the host (Elodie) responding to any issues almost immediately and the lovely sunshine we had all week! You will not regret booking this property!

An amazing home with a special mention for the kitchen (spacious, very well-equipped, a real pleasure to cook with the family). The accommodation is warm, the bedding very comfortable. It is spacious and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated having a bathroom for each room, the spa outside, the charm of the small village. Thanks also to Dominique, the person we were in contact with, who was responsive whenever we asked.

Excellent stay in this amazing estate with beautiful views, soothing calm and many possible activities. Our two dogs were welcomed with pleasure and were the happiest with all this land away from the roads. The hosts were very welcoming and very nice. The instructions were clear. We recommend this place!!

The most beautiful place to stay, it was peaceful and quiet. Very romantic too! There was everything you could need in the cottage, plus more! Marie was a wonderful host and although we couldn’t speak French she did a great job of showing us around and explaining how things work. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful accommodation in the heart of an environment conducive to calm and rest. The place is ideally located to discover the region with many activities nearby (gastronomy, heritage, sports activities). Paulette and Martin are very welcoming and discreet hosts, very attentive to their occupants. The house is absolutely in line with the photos and services shown, it's a real little gem, we loved our stay.

Easy to find quiet location, in area with some of the most beautiful villages in France with Markets on every day in the surrounding area as well as superb Michelin restaurants using incredible local produce . Comfortable open plan property, modern facilities in traditional cottage, easy to operate and cosy wood pellet heater. Property less suited if very tall ( I’m 6’4”) due to beautiful but low beams. Parking is right next to property. Host very responsive on any request.

A month at Le Mascaret was the perfect solution for our sojourn. The stone home made us feel we had truly arrived in France. It was completely renovated with modern conveniences and appliances so it was wonderfully comfortable. The beautiful Dordogne river was fascinating with its ever changing patterns and colors. Our hosts could not have been more charming and we cannot thank then enough for sharing Le Mascaret with us.

Great hosting from Fanny and Nicolas! We were charmed by the environment, the house, the sound of the water in the river, the horses... Lots of equipment for sharing games! We all fell in love with this place! Thanks Fanny and Nicolas.

As good as it gets! We’ve had a lovely stay and felt at home in the gite which has everything we needed. But more importantly the location is unique with amazing views and horses grazing nearby. Laurence and Alain took the time to show us around the estate, and we’ve had a few lovely surprises. Thanks for all the tips and for the warm welcome.

We wanted a peaceful and undisturbed break from our busy working lives, just the two of us (for the first time in several years), we wanted a pool and a small property that would probably enjoy some warm weather at the end of May. Lavender Cottage and Janie (who was based less than 100m away) delivered all of our requirements and more - the property was perfect for our needs, it was gloriously quiet, the pool was warm enough to enjoy, and any queries we had Janie was only too happy to respond to. My wife's birthday fell on a French Bank Holiday and some venues were not open so Janie stepped in and kindly sorted out a reservation with a local Restaurant which was very kind of her - and was a great venue for a meal. The markets we went to locally were excellent and our visit to the Naked Vigneron to see the vines and taste them and have lunch hosted by the Yorkshire born Moores was great activity to consider - All in all just, what the doctor would have ordered (if asked)

We were reunited as a family for an unfortunately very rainy Easter weekend. But the place is spacious, the rooms are large and everything went well. Very satisfied with the cottage that we already knew, under a beautiful sun and we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden, well-equipped.

we stayed at the Gite for 15 days. Inga & Marco were very welcoming & attentive throughout our stay. The accommodation was spacious & met all our needs for our stay. We had access to a lovely pool on one side. At front we had a patio which was lovely for our lunch & dinner. it is very private & secluded. The gite is in a great location with beautiful villages nearby. Inga & Marco were fabulous hosts, so helpful. We would recommend this gite

Brilliant stay at this beautiful gite. Perfect for our trip revisiting the Dordogne. Linda and Adrian were great hosts, very helpful and attentive whilst giving us our privacy. The pool is lovely with fantastic views. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can.

We had a wonderful week with our 2 children. There is little to do at first sight, but an hour away you have a lot of different activities. Really everything was available in the house with very nice pool and swimming toys! Karine made us feel like home and gave us all the privacy. Definitely recommended.

The Cottage is very nice. All was very clean and in good condition. The kitchen is also very faboulus, it has all what you need for cooking. We had a good time to slow down. We can Balbina and Didier with this nice place higly recommend .
