There’s one queen size bed with cotton bedsheets, and 2 day beds for lounging or guest beds. Organic soaps and retreat vibes. Enjoy the ozonated hot tub, yoga or dinner on the balcony, exercise equipment, fast Wi-Fi, or our big screen to play your favorite movie or music. Kitchen is stocked. Peace is our priority.

Lake house décor. Super fun getaway for family and friends. Oroville lake and Feather River are minutes away. Great for fisherman, boaters, hikers and kayaking. Oroville has something for every season. During the Fall Oroville salmon festival is held and the hatchery is open for viewing. Winter Feather falls and Phantom falls are flowing. Spring Table top mountain is in full bloom with wild flowers. Summer at the lake and river is a buzz with water activities.

Come getaway and enjoy peace and quiet in our newly remolded house with amazing views of the Bear River nestled among giant Ponderosa Pines, a wide variety of wildlife and birds galore. Bald eagles have been spotted on several occasions! As a guest you will have access to a very private spot on the river where you can try your luck panning for gold or fishing. You can also just relax while reading a good book, skipping rocks or just dip your toes in the water.

The exterior of the house features a charming entryway with a wooden door framed by large windows on either side. A sloped metal roof provides a rustic touch, while the surrounding trees create a sense of privacy and tranquility.

Beautiful house close to town and in the trees

Cancellations due to fire or Smokey air -allowed. Fragrance free cleaning products Wood floors, washer/dryer stocked kitchen Central heat. Air conditioning. High end mattresses. The house is off of a main road close to downtown Nevada City but in the tallest trees. There is some car noise during rush hour but none of that can be heard from inside of this very well insulated house. No loud parties. We do host dogs and occasionally cats.
