The Nest is a 5 minute walk to two bus lines, one of which connects with Seattle’s Light Rail system. The Nest is 7 miles (about 30 minutes) from downtown by bus or about 20 minutes by car in moderate traffic and is also located near bike trails. The Nest is a beautiful, inviting and private converted detached garage with YOU, the Airbnb guest, in mind. The space is complete with a kitchenette which includes a fridge, two-burner cooktop, toaster oven, coffee maker and microwave; a washer/dryer, generous walk-in shower, queen size bed and sleeper sofa complete the space. A keyless entry makes it a breeze to get into the cottage. Access The Nest by walking up the driveway and through a latched gate into the backyard. You will receive an entry code for the keyless lock along with check-in instructions prior to your stay. I run my own business and often work from home--I enjoy meeting guests as time allows. If we don’t connect in person during your stay, rest assured I am always available to respond to your questions via email, phone, and text. (Text is preferred method of communication). The cottage, Wedgwood Nest, is near the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. It's a 5-minute walk to two bus lines, one of which connects to the new Light Rail system. Walk to coffee shops, a yummy local bakery, and a gym. We are a busy family with 10 year old twins. They are happy and busy kids. They are at school during the day, but are often found playing outside in the backyard after school and during the weekends, but they know to be respectful of your privacy.
