Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Washington

Perfect stay in a stunningly beautiful location. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, relaxing hot tub, ample outdoor furniture, and thoughtful indoor design. The views are second to none and sitting on the back porch drinking coffee and listening to the birds, playing board games, then exploring the beach teeming with beauty and life and dipping our toes in the sound are memories we’ll treasure forever. We hope to come back again — thank you!

We spent a long family weekend in a lovely setting that felt very private. The landscaping and view are beautiful. We enjoyed the bbq, hot tub and fire pit. The kitchen is large and easy for a group. We had 7 adults and there was plenty of together space as well as room to get away. We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting the island.

This place was fantastic! Danica and Phillip have truly gone the extra mile to ensure their guests feel comfortable and I absolutely adored all of the little touches like the robes, slippers, breakfast, wine and fireplace.

We had a lovely stay! The accommodations were very comfortable and the hosts messaged right back when we had questions. The view from both floors was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed borrowing the kayaks to explore along with all the sea creatures parading across the water. We hope to return one day.

Fantastic getaway location that offered tremendous privacy. Extremely spacious house that was even bigger than the pictures made it look. House had everything we needed from plenty of towels to soap/spices/basic amenities. For those coming in the winter months, be aware that the drive up is extremely steep and I would highly recommend 4 wheel drive if there is snow or ice. Rita was extremely proactive and responsive with her communication! Definitely worth the stay for a small group looking for a peaceful place to escape.

Me and my partner loved spending a couple days here! So chill and relaxing with a bit to explore nearby. Super cute cabin!!

This place was wonderful! The pictures did not do it justice. The view was spectacular. The house itself was very quaint and spacious. Though there was only one bathroom, it was large and spacious as well. Perfect for two guests. We had a wonderful time just sitting and enjoying the view. Thanks to Annette for making our Vashon Island visit more than we could have hoped for.

My family spent 5 wonderful days at the lake house. We enjoyed the peaceful location and all the lake toys. We hope to visit again in the future.

Amaris is very responsive and helpful and her house is so spacious, clean and well maintained. My kids loved being able to take bubble baths in the oversized tubs and so did I🙂 We also loved the roof top deck and the view was so beautiful especially at night with all the city lights. The beds and comforters were so cozy I want to buy some like that for my own bed! Another thing we loved was after a busy day we could come back to a very quiet peaceful neighborhood home and rest. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. Lighthouse roasters made amazing coffees and have a really great vibe. We cannot recommend Amaris and her property highly enough. Will be staying there again.

Our stay began with a personal note and pastries from a local French bakery. The space was charming and homey. Renee was very responsive yet respected our space. We enjoyed the patio and garden area which was beautiful. Neighborhood was peaceful and walkable to nearby coffee shops. We left feeling like we made a friend.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location—just a short walk from the bus stop (we took it to Pike place) and some cozy cafes. Kelly was responsive and everything was as described. Would definitely book again!

Martha and her husband were so nice even though we only seen them twice during our week stay. Both times Martha was super friendly and knowledgeable. there were beautiful views from the back yard of the property and right down the road aswell. my girlfriend and i had a great time exploring the Olympic national park and whole peninsula from her place. we will definitely be back to this amazing state and would stay here again in the future. Highly recommend. I went 2 nights for a solo adventure. Very peaceful, the property in total is amazing, the view mesmerizing. So many different birds to see! Will definitely be back. Town is small and sweet. Kind locals. If it’s your thing, the episcopal church on main road north of town offers to all a beautiful labyrinth set in a wooded area. Very powerful walking meditation.

The best Airbnb I have ever seen! Not just Seattle anywhere! So well appointed and supplied! Lee has thought of everything! The hot tub was amazing and the yard and trees and rooms and bathrooms and showers and kitchen were incredible!! I will stay here every chance I get! The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Great place to stay and is very peaceful away from all the city noise and ruckus. This was my first time booking and trying an airbnb and the hosts definitely made it much easier to understand what to do and how everything works with this system as their instructions for check in and rules were clear and they were available to help and were very friendly

Lovely condo in Belltown near all the attractions! Loved the included parking for one car. Super secure building! The condo itself was great, plenty of space for four adults! Nice amenities including gym and pool and hot tub! Very walkable location! Would definitely stay again next time we are in Seattle!

My daughters and I truly enjoyed our stay in Seattle, and staying at Emma's place very much contributed to our enjoyable trip! She was so responsive throughout the booking and trip planning process, and was incredibly flexible with our checkout process. The condo was comfortable, in a great location for walking to various activities, and close to many restaurants. Emma was a great host - would definitely stay at a property of hers again in the future when I'm in the area again.

Peter is an excellent communicator! When we drove up to the home's gate we were very pleasantly surprised!!! The house is beautiful, very clean, and has an amazing view, plus we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There's also a two-person hammock, pergola, various outdoor chairs and tables. The kitchen was very well-stocked and we loved all the art and cookie jars throughout the indoors. We've stayed at many Airbnbs and this property is the very best! You will not be disappointed. Near there is the Wild Felid Advocacy Center (book a visit online) that shelters tigers, mountain lions and other large and small cats. If you go there make sure you watch road signs and addresses since our navigation took us elsewhere. The only marker for WFAC is a cat paw print at car-height. What heartwarming memories we built there during our vacation. Paradise, simply put. Thank you, Peter.

Gayle and her staff were great! Their instructions were clear and thorough. They were friendly and very helpful in helping us have a great experience in visiting Seattle and the surrounding areas. My family and friends were thrilled with our stay!

The view was amazing and the location easy to find. If we had the time and the weather was nice we would just sit out on the balcony and just watch the marketplace bustle. The space was clean and many essentials were provided. We utilized the pool/hot tub/gym daily which was super nice after all the walking we did during the day. Target being downstairs was also very convenient especially since I needed to grab another luggage cause I ran out of space in the one I brought. The only complaints I might have is that it can be quite loud at night and I was woken up quite a few times. However, ear plugs are provided though I didn't use them because they get uncomfortable after a few hours. We had no actual issues but it can also feel a bit unsafe at night if you're out late due to the homeless population though that is not a fault of the hosts. Despite that I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Just the view and convenience outweighs anything else.

This was my 3rd time staying at Kim’s place! This place is great, as it is very walkable to shopping and restaurants and it’s always super clean! Kim is very quick to respond to my questions.
