Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again when we return to Minnesota! The house was very clean and neat, everything was easy to access, and we felt at home the entire time.

Highly recommend Mark’s place. Great restaurants, hikes, and lakes were all within a 5-10min drive. Super peaceful to just sit on the back porch or in the hot tub. Would love to return!

Our family needed a place to stay as we moved from OH to MN and our home we were building wasn’t quite ready yet. It is a charming cottage decorated very nicely. The kitchen is equipped with what you need. Since we stayed here during the winter, we can only imagine how adorable the outdoor screened in back patio would be in the spring, summer, and fall. We had 3 vehicles with us and the driveway is wide enough to park and move in and out easily. The owners are super responsive and communicated quickly and were very helpful. This is a great place for a trip to Lake Minnetonka, the location was awesome- right down the road from Hazelwood (a fabulous restaurant) and a quick trip to downtown Excelsior. Not to mention the trail is a hop across the street. The cottage is over a hundred years old so the floors are a bit slanted in some areas but not was it cute! All linens and towels are there for you. Our family of four and 2 dogs were comfortable there for our almost 8 weeks there😄

Title: Amazing Extended Stay at Jessica’s Lakeside Retreat I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Jessica’s beautiful lakeside apartment in Mound, MN, for over six months, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The apartment itself was fantastic—spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with everything I needed. The large TV, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and top-notch washer and dryer made it feel like home from day one. Jessica’s hospitality and kindness were beyond compare. She was always accommodating, thoughtful, and made sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. The location in Mound is also a huge bonus! The community is charming, with a public beach nearby and access to incredible lakeside walking and biking trails—perfect for enjoying the beauty of the area. I highly recommend staying at Jessica’s place, especially for an extended stay. It’s a true gem, and I’m grateful for the experience!
