Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Almanor

Almost beautiful place to stay with all the amenities of home. Luxurious downstairs home theater set up, which was outdone by the outdoor kitchen. And the most incredible part about this house was the creek access. The elementary age kids with us had more fun in the creek than at any swimming pool.

What a wonderful and restful stay at Eva and Greg’s Almanor House! A friend and I wanted a girls' getaway to escape the 100+ degrees heat in the Butte County valley floor. We wanted to be close to Lake Almanor but away from the Labor Day crowds. This place was perfect in that we were minutes from a wonderful Pizza place, and other restaurants in Westwood and only 12 minutes from Lake Almanor for boating, hiking, picnicking, and lake-view restaurants. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated cottage with super plush couch, comfy beds, and fully stocked kitchen and two bathrooms. We ate our meals both in a breakfast nook and outside by the fire pit and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of exploring. The neighborhood was very quiet and we can see the stars at night. Eva and Greg were very responsive with our every question before the stay and were available by email/text. Everything from toiletries, towels, fresh linens, very nice cooking instruments were provided in this cottage. Eva and Greg thought of everything to make our stay incredibly comfortable. We definitely will return again!

WOW! We had a great time at Hannah's river house. Location, location, location. The "back yard" is an absolutely GORGEOUS river with a lovely deep pool suitable for swimming. We spent two days hanging out back there relaxing and it was heaven. As for the house itself, Everything was very clean, neat and in good repair. We used the washer and dryer several times and they worked perfectly. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. And there were plenty of other amenities provided such as beach towels, sun umbrella, and lawn chairs to use down by the water. We had terrific communication with Hannah. She is friendly and quick to respond to any questions. We're already planning a return trip to stay at this house!

The place was comfortable, calm, and just what I needed for a relaxing after work. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, making it even better. The host was very helpful and responsive, ensuring everything went smoothly. I would definitely stay here again—highly recommend!

I have been renting this house for four straight years for our annual guy's golf trip. Tiffani was great to work with. The house fits all of us and you cannot beat the location. I will definitely rent this house next year!

We had an excellent stay, despite the smoke from the Park fire. Karen was very responsive and willing to work with us if we decided the smoke was going to be too much. The house was beautifully decorated and worked perfect for our family of 4. Having a boat slip you could see from the balcony was such a nice touch. The neighbors were all very nice. We will be back!

This is a wonderful stay. The location is quiet and peaceful and Aaron and family are gracious and communicative hosts. I can’t wait to stay again when I visit next!

This place was wonderful. It’s in a great neighborhood, safe and secure and very comfortable. Our host was super responsive and even reached out to us to make sure we knew how to turn the heat on since the area got a cold snap. We will probably try to stay here again and would definitely recommend it.

We absolutely loved the space—such a beautiful cabin in the woods! The backyard was especially amazing; we had a great time around the bonfire under the stars. Everything about the place was fantastic, except for the hot water situation. Since we were a large group, the last few people had to take cold showers. Other than that, it was an incredible stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Judy’s cabin! The space was clean and had everything we needed. We loved having AC units throughout the home since it was warm at night. The griddle and outdoor space was perfect for dinners. We’d love to come back!
