Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Plumas County

Staying at Scott’s was a complete pleasure for our family – the house was spotless, the kitchen fully stocked (with many extras), a great game room, hugely appreciated AC (a rarity in homes there and so much more comfortable during a hot stretch), a truly homey feel when we’d return from a long day of hiking. Most of all, Scott was great to work with, has enormous integrity, is extremely responsive to any questions, and truly cares about his guests. Stellar home and host.

Dorinda was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. The place was neat and huge! We especially loved the play area downstairs which helped my family to disengage from technology. We definitely created good memories during our stay. We highly recommend this place.

Mindy was an outstanding hostess! The location was absolutely perfect, offering easy access to everything we wanted to explore. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. My husband and I spent a full week here, and every day was a pleasure. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend staying here!

Updated kitchen, spacious, plenty of room for a boat, close to Rec area, good communication with owners. No complaints

Nice large peaceful space, great for relaxing and playing games with the family. We enjoyed the pool table and the poker table very much. Kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to cook for the family. The snacks and wine at check in was a nice touch. There was plenty of warm blankets to curl up in, in fact there was a beautiful handmade quilt that reminded me so much of my own at home that my grandmother made years ago! The host Ernie was very responsive when I had questions, and I really appreciated that. We enjoyed our weekend stay, only complaint is we wish we would have booked for more time.

Beautiful home and views! Came here for a family wedding. The town is very small and not many things are open at this time of year but the home itself was well-equipped with the kitchen essentials etc. We had a fun time roasting marshmallows outside under the stars!

This is a wonderful stay. The location is quiet and peaceful and Aaron and family are gracious and communicative hosts. I can’t wait to stay again when I visit next!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and comfortable. The house was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was perfect for our family—spacious, cozy, and well thought out. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. It was so peaceful to soak in while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We ended every evening out there and it made the trip feel like a treat. The backyard was another favorite—, with plenty of room for the kids to explore and play while the adults relaxed. The setting felt so peaceful, with lovely touches that made it feel special. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into creating a space that’s both fun and relaxing for families. We’d absolutely love to stay here again. Colby’s place was just what we needed for a weekend getaway. The space is comfortable and unique. We stayed with just our family of four, but could easily fit another family. My kids especially loved the pool table. We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful home, we made great family memories

Truly a beautiful get away spot. Perfect cabin in the woods, close to the lake. Really enjoyed being a 5 minute drive to the water, lots of hiking/running trails close by.

We had a wonderful stay at Patti's place! It was peaceful and relaxing. It snowed and we loved it. Walked and played outside in the snow and warmed up by the wood burning stove. A relaxing stay reading, playing games and hiking outside. The beds are all memory foam and super comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, the view of the meadow, lake, barn and mountains are all fantastic. The road through the national park was closed but we made it to the visitor's center where you could sled and learn all about the park. Hope to come back sometime in the summer to explore more. Our family including grandparents thoroughly enjoyed making memories in this cozy, welcoming, and lovely cabin home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable and modern, yet with the feel of cabin by the lake (and snow for us). Clear directions, great communication, comfortable beds all around, incredible views, open design so we were all together, fantastic kitchen, and so much more. We would definitely stay here again!
