My husband and I stayed at The Poulailler for our elopement trip recently and we can’t stop talking about it! The attention to detail, the craftsmanship, and the love you can tell Dave and Valene have put into this property shines above everything else. It is one of our favorite stays, and it was such a cozy place to come back to after our travels, hikes, and wedding. We are so blessed they have decided to share their hard work and beautifully curated space with us, and we could not recommend this place enough! Thank you again!

I hesitate to reveal how great Carl's place is because I don't want it to become so popular that it becomes hard for me to book. The setting is spectacular. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans everything you need. There are also basic staples that renters can use. If you don't like to cook, a lakeside restaurant is a short walk from Carl's. The restaurant is currently open Wed- Sun. We went on a couple of short hikes that were close by. Millersylvania Park is about a 15 min. drive. We also enjoyed seeing the Monarch Butterfly Sculpture Garden. Lots of outdoor art and a fun area for kids (or adults) to play in. I had some questions for Carl and he always responded quickly and clearly. Carl and Sue make available everything that the renter might forget to bring: Toothbrushes, Q-tips, shampoo, etc. Did I mention the jar of chocolates? We are not fishing enthusiasts, but it looks like that could be fun. Carl also has kayaks & life vests.

I visited the cottage to escape the city for a few days. This place is absolutely adorable— completely drenched in natural sunlight. It manages to maintain its historical charm while also feeling modern. I did some remote work during the visit & the WiFi worked perfectly— I could even get signal sitting outside. It was a little too chilly to take advantage of the water, but even just sitting outside on the floating dock or the balcony provided a lot of peace. This place is the perfect mixture of providing a secluded feel while still being just a short drive to grocery/ restaurants. I truly loved my stay here & am already trying to figure out when I might be back!

Jami went out of her way to ensure that we would have this space to stay in during our time in Olympia-- even though she was out of town herself. Very friendly and responsive. The tiny house itself was perfect, and the added bathroom was a plus! A very clean space with plenty of amenities such as coffee/tea, seasonings for cooking, games to play and extra toiletries. We were able to walk from the location right into town, and the fact that you could see the lake from the property made for a peaceful afternoon or two. We had a fantastic time here, and hope to return again in the future!

The home is beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t mind booking with him again. My only issue was how open and “exposed” the hot tub and sitting area is. Kind of feels like you’re in a fish bowl and everyone can see you. It wasn’t too big of an issue. We went and bought a canvas drop cloth and hung it for privacy. Other than that, we loved it there! The home is warm and inviting. We will definitely book again! Thanks Tim!

We were in town due to the death of my aunt. Nattie's offered me a very calm, relaxing beautiful spot to unwind and relax. It is just lovely and so very clean and comfortable. The bed & sheets/spread are amazing. It was so quite and serene there. Amazing landscaping and flowers. Would love to stay there agin (hope for a much more happy circumstance) Nattie was friendly and like an instant friend. A ++++++ accomodations!
