Pet-friendly vacation rentals in La Herradura

Very nice accommodation in a really quiet and exotic village. The house is really atypical, don't be afraid of stairs. Ideal if you're looking for peace and quiet.

We had a long stay 6 weeks in feb/march 25. our dog was with us for half of the stay. The house is as described, we had quite unusually wet weather for half of our stay but the climate control in the house worked really well so we could be warm in the cool evenings. The house is very cute and spacious and the roof terrace was amazing on the sunny days. Pia told us about some of the lovely walking routes and we enjoyed many of them. There is an easy walk to Competa ( once you get to the top of the village- which is pretty steep) it is fairly flat with wonderful views of the mountains and the sea. I would recommend Maro beach, it has parking ( in winter) and a small beach bar, lovely clear water where you can hire a Kayak 22 euro for 1 hour where you can see a fab waterfall that is only visible from the sea. Adrian's bar in Competa, great for cocktails, very chic. Pia was very responsive as was Chris who lived close by for any issues. A real home from home feel. we had a great time.

Idyllic and rejuvenating place for those who love nature and grandiose landscapes. Access is a little complicated with a non-4x4 car but by driving very slowly it is feasible. Very good communication with Philippe.

This was a really lovely villa in beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. Jose & Lisa were very responsive and helpful, a fabulous stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were looking for private accommodation for a family with a four year old child. So that our daughter could be free in the garden. The pool is clean and very nice. Nearby Orgiva is a charming town. If you want to spend time in peace with your family, this is the place. Breakfast in the shade of an olive tree. Relax by the pool overlooking the beautiful mountains. Barbecue in the evening. Beaches within driving distance. Lots to see nearby (Granada, Pampaneira and more). Antonio is a very communicative and friendly person. He helped us with everything we needed, nothing was a problem. Thank you for everything, we spent a wonderful time here.

We had a pleasant stay. The house is as described, with all the essentials and above all an incredible view! The house is ideally placed for quiet moments in the middle of nature, and only 15 minutes by car (mountain) from a highway. There's plenty to discover nearby. Mieke is a very pleasant and responsive host.

We immediately felt at home with Rafa. The house is beautiful and equipped with all useful things. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom in the parent room is convenient amenities. We were happy to spend our vacation here. Thx

Our stay at Casa Admar was fantastic - the view and place was just like in the photos. Thomas was accessible throughout and answered all questions, gave recommendations and took care of immediately. Alejandro was also extremely reliable and quick to arrive on site. All rooms were clean, there were towels and plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was also great and left nothing to be desired. Also the directions to the house were very helpful as the road can be narrow and steep in places. Overall an excellent stay - we will be happy to come back!

Sarah is an excellent host. She responded immediately to all requests at all times and was always helpful. Checking in was hassle-free. The apartment has an optimal location to the beach and the surrounding restaurants. It is very cozy and absolutely functional and practically furnished, with everything you need. We felt very comfortable. Thank you Sarah for the great care and the beautiful apartment.

stayed here for four weeks and found it such a home from home, Isabelle has supplied basically everything you could need while away. house super comfy and would definitely recommend. you do need a car if you want a choice of restaurants, the others are a good 20 mins walk away. unfortunately the pool closes at end of September which was disappointing but could not be helped. we would most definitely return 😊

We stayed at villa Almassora for almost a month & as a group of 8, we couldn’t have asked for a better location, space & most of all.. the hosts! The Villa is very clean, well maintained and the common areas are very spacious & get natural light throughout the day! The kitchen is well equipped & the team was always prompt with any additional things we requested! The place & people made us feel right at home and it was rather tough for us to say goodbye to this wonderful experience. Thank you!!

Marianne is a great host. the house is amazing. it offers everything and it is well equipped. If your are looking for a quiet place to calm down with a great view, this is it. you are also pretty fast in Granada, malaga and marbella or at some of the nice beaches. Marianne takes so much care of the house, the private pool and all the plants which make it a lovely green place with a stunning view! the communication is also very easy and extremly friendly.

The stay was 7 days with my family. From the first moment, the super friendly owner, both the communication before arrival and the day of checking in. The house is very cozy, just like in the pictures. The beach is close, but the climb is on the hill anyway in a couple of minutes by car. I highly recommend the house, we were very comfortable and had a great time. The area is quiet and you can always walk around the neighborhood, go down to the promenade or visit places like Nerja that is very close. Thank you Elisabeth!!

The place was amazing with beautiful views! Nick and Julia were amazing host who were very responsive if we ever needed anything. We will most definitely miss the place and of course the pets too!

Wonderful stay in the Grey House. the hosts couldn't do enough for us and the location was perfect for eating drinking and excursions. pool was a nice place to cool off and prepare for the day. if you are considering renting you will not be disappointed! we will be back

Rosa Maria’s was exactly how we imagined. So clean and relaxing. Everything exceeded our expectations. The views of the sunset were fab. We had our dog with us and it was so perfect as secure and he could run around the garden or sleep in the shade in the outside kitchen area. We stayed for 6 weeks and didn’t want to leave. You must have a car for this property. It is an amazing location to get to all other areas Nerja, Torrox Costa, Frigiliana etc. Would be back in a heartbeat.

This is a true hidden gem, easily the house with the best view I’ve ever been. The hosts are friendly and responsive. They were also very flexible concerning the checkin and checkout time. Would surely recommend this place!

It was a pleasure to stay at Las Piedras! Despite the terrible weather, we were delighted and very comfortable! The house and the views are beautiful, too bad we couldn't enjoy it more because of the rain. We were delighted that so many rooms were adapted, it makes it much easier for people with disabilities to access places that would otherwise be more complicated (Sierra de Málaga), for which we are very grateful! We hope to visit you again and enjoy the pool and the beautiful area!

This is a small practically furnished cortijo with phenomenal 360 degree views. Very quiet location at the top of the hill with lots of hiking possibilities. To get there is only possible via an unpaved winding access road. Now some damaged due to rainfall in advance of our stay. It got used to! Only I would warn cars that are low on the road for this to avoid damage. We have enjoyed peace, views and yet only 15 min away from shops to do shopping. We will definitely come back !!
