Beach house vacation rentals in La Herradura

We stayed at this great Airbnb for a week. By far we liked the roof terrace best. The flexible check-in with mailbox also went smoothly. You can tell in the little things of the apartment that Dorien and Wim have been thinking a lot. The pool was also great and mostly pretty empty. So highly recommended!

We absolutely loved staying in Jeanette’s house. The location is perfect, close to everything. The kitchen worked well for us and we enjoyed hanging out on both the lovely terraces. Hope to return one day.

Good communication, large and clean house. Equipped with every comfort, two bathrooms which was very nice. Nice outdoor space with BBQ, swimming pool and plenty of toys for kids. Frank and Renate were super nice and helpful. Had a wonderful holiday!

We had a very nice stay at Fabrizio's villa. The place suits a larger family very well, excellent if you want some separate privacy during the stay. The house was clean and tidy, same with the outside area and pool. The villa is situated in a steep hill, and some of us didn't like to walk up the hill to get back to the house after being at the beach, but all in all the place was very good value for money and the host were quick to respond and provided us with the things we needed (also things we asked for during the stay) !

We only stayed one night, but felt right at home. The place was spacious, super comfortable and had a lovely roof terrace to enjoy the sunset. Right in the middle of the pedestrian zone and not far from the parking, so best of both worlds. Thank you!

Well equipped villa in quiet neighborhood. There was everything you could need. Spacious common areas, comfortable for a group of friends (we were 6 adults). Walking distance to grocery store, beach, center with cafes etc. and bus stop to go to Malaga or other villages. I recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Sergio's villa, the house and pool were fabulous and only a short walk to local amenities, good restaurants and the beach. Would certainly recommend it and go back. My 5 yr old daughter loved it so much she wanted to bring back the pool! ; ) Many thanks Sergio!

Karlien is a great host. Available for any help needed. Great at communicating and getting back to you quickly. This is a lovely villa with sea and mountain views close to town and the sea and a supermarket up the road. I would love to return.

We were very excited about the house and the garden. The outdoor amenities were great with many tables, seating placed generously in the very large old garden. Lovely large pool and even then a very own paddle court, which was used daily -super well. The house itself is large and well appointed with good rooms and a very well-functioning kitchen with direct access to a lovely sun terrace where we enjoyed having our breakfast. In the evening you can sit on soft sofas on the large covered terrace and enjoy the amazing view of the city of Nerja. We give our warmest recommendations for the house and Mercedes - and would love to come back one day:)

What a beautiful villa! The views are outstanding, the kitchen/living space and outdoor areas are lovely and very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a large group. The bathrooms and some of the bedrooms were quite dark, but we appreciate that is the design of a house built into the hillside. La Herradura is walking distance with good bars and restaurants, although as others have said it is quite a steep climb back up to the villa, but there is plenty of parking if driving. Great roads and easy access from Malaga, and easy to get into Almuñécar for larger supermarkets, buses etc. We recommend a day trip to Granada as it is only an hour away, and beautiful. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and Rachel was very responsive and helpful when we were there. A minor issue with the cooker was resolved promptly. We would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Debby’s house was a home from home, with lots of essentials provided. We loved the roof terrace - it provided a lovely space with beautiful views over Nerja. The supermarket is just around the corner, so getting supplies is easy. The walk to Burriana and Nerja is manageable, but it is very hilly, so worth bearing in mind if you have any mobility issues. That said, we walked everywhere and enjoyed the lovely views on our walks. The pool is lovely and warm, and clean. It is quite deep, and might be tricky for younger children with quite a small deep end. Thanks Debby for a lovely stay!

We had a fantastic stay here. It’s located in a very quiet agricultural area with great views of the sea and mountains, but the beach and local town are both walkable too. The interior of the property had everything we needed but it was the outside areas that really shone: the front terrace and BBQ grill, and the pool area behind the property. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and kept the pool very clean throughout our stay. We’d definitely recommend this property to other couples.

Well what can i say about Christian's place. Amazing modern home on the side of coast of Nerja with panoramic views of the coastline. Christian was an amazing host, very responsive on chat if we had any issues or wanted to ask any questions. The place was a great modern home with lots of great amenities for couples and families to stay. We really enjoyed all of the home, from the great living space to all the activities on the upper terrace. We have a great trip and are very thankful that we could experience this home. I wouldn't hesitate returning to Nerja and staying at this place again, and i would highly recommend staying here if your thinking of experiencing a little luxury on your trip to Nerja.

We had a great week in October in this apartment and loved the view from the main living area and patio. The ca. 2km to the beach downhill is still in a walkable radius, the beach town La Herradura was mellow in the off-season. The apartment is well-designed and feels more like a house, with its three outside patios/garden corners, duplex and the beautiful view. We would like to come again!

Recommended! Very clean, washing machine, rack, ironing, hair dryer etc Downstairs: small nice kitchen, bathroom 1 and loft with beach towels, umbrella, beach chairs. No dishwasher, but dining table. Complete: sugar, oil, herbs, Dolce Gusto with cups etc. On the street, windows and door with bars and screens can be opened. Upstairs: living room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom 2 and front balcony on the sun with beachview (between houses). Pine trees and screen for shade, great!. Double room spacious and lots of closets. Room 2 a children's room, small for 3 adults (is possible). Upper floor very good air conditioning. Bathrooms with shower, faucet and toilet. Good jet and top hot water. Bathroom 2 cramped cabin, bathroom 1 more spacious. More than enough shower towels. A/C per week less than €7 Bedrooms on blind wall (silent!), Every window screens and shutters, dark, quiet, cool. Free parking anywhere. Fantastic beach, (less than 5 min walk) quiet street. El Balandro for tapa, lunch, dinner. Host quick - friendly

Everything was just right for us at the cottage. Feel good from the first moment. An old house, lovingly restored, on a slope full of fruit trees. Overlooking the village and the sea. After sunset, the church tower is illuminated, which is a very nice sight. Everything in the house is beautifully made, from the lighting in the garden and in the pool to the interior design. A special thank you goes to the hosts. This was an Andalusian hospitality that is rare in the world!

We had a brilliant stay here for one week, with four adults and three young children (and there was easily space for more as we unfortunately had one of our families of three cancel last minute). The villa was really clean and well equipped and the location was perfect. You can see the sea from the balcony, and hear it as you sit outside in the garden which is lovely. Comms from the host was great, Raquel was very easy to get in touch with. She had reached out beforehand to let us know to come to her with any questions & we had a problem with the air con, but she was super responsive and got it sorted quickly. Calahonda itself was perfect for a week’s stay with enough different places to eat for lunch / at night, including some lovely places on the beachfront. Plenty of shops for meals at night. Would recommend for anyone looking for a chilled week and Spanish experience - virtually no Brits and English speaking was very limited- in a good way! Thanks for a great stay!

we arrived very late. we were very happy that the host arranged a simpler breakfast, some beers and some water and wine in the fridge. very warm and welcoming and much appreciated. A fantastic house with wonderful views. would highly recommend to everyone

We had a great stay in Salobreña, and the location is perfect. Walking distance to everywhere in the town but in a quiet location. The house was peaceful and cool despite the heat outside. I had no common language with the local agent but friendliness, waving hands, and a little Googling gets you through. Automatic translation on Android made arrangements for arriving and departing very easy. Parking was never inconvenient, and the house is well-equipped. Salobreña is a great jumping off point to visits up and down the coast and inland to Granada and the Sierra Nevada. Definitely recommended!
