Kid-friendly vacation rentals in La Garde-Freinet

The hosts are very welcoming with great tips on things to do and places to visit. The accommodation is very clean and well-equipped and the environment is very peaceful with a beautiful view of the vineyards and the "shed" is isolated. We loved our stay in Besse-sur-Issole. It was the perfect spot during our trip—peaceful, charming, and full of local character. The Airbnb was clean, comfortable, and in a great location for walking everywhere. One of the best parts? The croissant from the local boulangerie—hands down the best we’ve had so far in southern France. We really enjoyed walking into the village square each morning, grabbing coffee, and popping into the little shops and restaurants. Everyone was friendly, and the vibe was relaxed and authentic. A great stop if you’re looking to enjoy a quieter side of Provence. We took multiple day trips, super easy from this cozy retreat. The Gorge du Verdon is a must. We had fun visiting Canne, Antibes and Nice. Great day trips, best was coming back to Besse. Thank you Helene and Roxane. We loved Berg….❤️. Thank you!!

We had a stay that met our expectations. The accommodation, services and environment correspond 100% to the description. New villa, very designer and clean. Quality furniture.

A villa where when we walk through the front door, we already feel at home :) everything is done, so that we feel good. Everything is planned down to the last detail, nothing is missing. The villa is really located in an exceptional place. Perfect communication with the host or co-host. The host was very accommodating whether for the check-in time or the check-out time. I'd recommend it without a second thought. Nothing to say but: perfect.

The villa is very beautiful, though it lacks in details. For instance, we booked the villa for 7 people and they only left 1 nespresso tab for the coffee machine. Plus there was no showergel or bathroom mat. Also the bed linen in one bed had a big stain. When we arrived at 11.30pm at night we had to call the host via facetime to get the exact location of the key lock and of the villa. It would have been a lot easier if he would have sent us a photo beforehand of the villa location and key lock. But he responded fast so it was ok after all. All in all it was great but there’s room For improvement.

We stayed in this well-maintained house over the long Easter weekend. The view is wonderful and the pool area is great for enjoying the outdoors! The house worked well for our group of two families. The only surprising thing was that the basic necessities were very scarce - we ran out of toilet paper and there were only two dish washer tablets for a group of 7 persons for three nights. Luckily the communication with the host was always fast and smooth! The location is peaceful and private and we’d be happy to return one day.

A great accommodation. Very tastefully decorated, with everything you could want. An incredibly beautiful view of the sea. The only downside is the location. No shops or restaurants nearby and a steep, curvy drive. But there is absolute peace and quiet there and at night you can hear the croaking of toads and see bats and during the day many butterflies in the beautifully landscaped garden.

We loved staying here, lovely spacious apartment, spotlessly clean and very private and peaceful. Better instructions to find the place would have been useful. The map link sends you straight to the main road, past the entrance, and there are confusingly two entrances. We were lucky and found the one we needed by accident but nowhere to call for David. Somebody let us in, so we went straight to the room and used the code issued us and this part was very easy.

My partner and I had a lovely stay here in the south of France. The pictures did the air BnB no justice, the place was bigger than the photos and was pristine inside. The area was quiet and peaceful just what we wanted whilst celebrating our friends wedding in the castle nearby. The hosts communication and English was amazing. They gave us local taxi numbers and helped us organise a taxi to airport. Thank you so much to you both this was an amazing find on air BnB and we appreciate everything you did for us whilst we were in France! Thank you, Love, Gemma & Rhys!!

Nathalie welcomed us very warmly and indicated activities such as hiking. The apartment is both very beautiful and very nice. We also loved its very central location in an authentic village away from the crowds of the French Riviera but also lively. We'll probably be back.

The area is very quiet and easy to get around. Nadège always replies our question immediately. She is very helpful. We enjoy to stay there.

Excellent location: feet in the sand on a beautiful beach in Le Lavandou. Accommodation in a very quiet residence. Private parking which is very nice, especially in busy periods. Pierre is a very good host who responds very quickly to messages and adapts to his guests. Michèle the concierge is also friendly.

The apartment is very charming, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The view from the window and the small balcony is spectacular at any time of day, just fantastic. Within walking distance you were very quickly in the small lovely town or even on the beach. We had a wonderfully relaxing time. The hosts are very courteous and helpful and easily accessible at all times. Thanks so much for this. We can recommend the Sardinette without restriction. Location is exceptionally nice.

Honestly, this was probably the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at — and we’ve stayed in many across different countries. If you’re looking for a place to stay on the Côte d’Azur, just book this one. I spent over a week researching options, so I know pretty well what’s out there in this area, and I’m happy we ended up choosing this one. The location is amazing — literally one step from the beach. There’s a big grocery store right across the street, an underground parking garage, and a really nice infinity pool in the complex. The apartment itself is super well-equipped — everything is modern, from the blackout curtains to the shower. Villeneuve-Loubet turned out to be a great spot — calm and relaxing, but also perfect as a base to explore the French Riviera, Monaco, and even Italy (about 1.5 hours by car). Corinne was also a fantastic host — always quick to respond (usually within 5 minutes) and really helpful whenever we had a question. Highly recommended — we would love to come back!

Everything was perfect! I would say that this might be one of the best Air BnB's I've ever stayed at. Highly recommend it!

This apartment is very clean, spacious and bright, fully equipped with daily necessities, exactly as described.We stayed for three days and it was very comfortable.The host is very friendly and can help us solve problems in a timely manner.The apartment is in a good location, very convenient to go to attractions and supermarkets.We would recommend this homestay and would stay again if we have the opportunity.

I stayed with my partner for two nights. Manon was very responsive all the time. The appartment was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. The most amazing part of our stay was the view of the port from the appartment. It is located on a private neighbourhood and has free parking inside. It is also very close to other attractions like Sain Tropez, the center of Grimaud and nice beaches. Would definately recommend staying there.

I liked staying at this place, it was nice and clean. The only problem we encountered is that we couldn’t find anywhere to eat breakfast. Other than that everything was as expected and I would recommend this place for anyone that would like to stay in a cute and modern apartment near the sea!

My girlfriend and I had a great time in this apartment. Everything was perfectly as advertised, very clean, well-appointed and really comfortable. we felt right at home as soon as soon as we arrived.
