Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Kyoto

great location, super quiet. could use more heating in the winter (bathroom & shower cold), but would totally stay again!

Casa davvero molto bella, con spazi anche piuttosto ampi rispetto allo standard, ideale per 5-6 persone. Cucina dotata di tutto il necessario, molto bello anche il servizio di piatti. Due bagni belli e funzionali, compresa anche lavatrice utile per soggiorno più lunghi. Temperatura e climatizzazione delle stanze perfetta, presente anche riscaldamento a pavimento. Abbiamo avuto un problema con riscaldamento di uno dei due bagni, rapidamente risolto pure essendo nel periodo di capodanno. Materassi futon molto comodi. Casa un po’ difficile da raggiungere con taxi perché autista non ha seguito le indicazioni stampateci dall’ufficio check-in ma ha seguito GoogleMaps (che dà indicazioni sbagliate! Attenzione!). Abbastanza vicina a Gion, ma bisogna camminare un po’ prima di arrivare nel cuore del quartiere. Kombini Lawson comodo vicino per fare la spesa. Akiko sempre disponibile e gentilissima, ci ha supportato in ogni momento.

The place was amazing this is my second stay here and it’s still as amazing as the first time. The place is in a great location. Close to the station good restaurants and combini stores.

Maison typique Japonaise avec tout le nécessaire pour se sentir comme à la maison. En prime, ce bain privé dans le petit jardin on l’on peut rester longtemps sans que l’eau ne refroidisse ! J’ai adoré 🥰. 7 min pied d’une ligne qui remonte vers le centre Kyoto et c est une gare JR pour ceux qui ont pris les pass. En conclusion, parfait ! 👍

Very nice place (nice finishes, spotless, comfortable beds and floor mattresses) in an excellent location (quiet neighborhood 15mn walk from the touristic hot spots). Barely any common space which we used as an incentive to go explore the city :)

Very comfortable for 3 of us. It is within 15-25 mins walk to most attractions partly on narrow roads. Taxis can conveniently stop right outside the apt. The apt has easy-to-use amenities eg washer cum dryer, relaxing round bath tub, 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms, well-lit rooms on 2nd floor with comfortable floor mattresses. Little space downstairs if you have many big suitcases as stairways can be narrow to move them to second floor.

Arashiyama is a wonderful, peaceful residential neighbourhood. After spending 3 nights in a tiny hotel room in Tokyo, it was a welcome relief to come to a spacious home with all the amenities. Supermarkets, bakeries and eateries are all at your doorstep and the rail station is a few mins walk away. We had one of the best days of our trip to the Monkey Park, Sagano rail, bamboo forest and river boat trip.

Great location and easy check in process, the host was great in allowing us to store us luggage for a short bit before check in time.

Our stay at Yanbin’s place was great! We really felt at home, at a Japanese home! Place is great, location was awesome! Away from the tourists but still super close to any action Kyoto offers! Yanbin was super friendly, always willing to help and put up with all my questions! Honestly a great place, plenty of room, comfortable and great location! Our kids were very careful around the house, but with so much space it was really great! Everyone had its own corner in the house to enjoy their reading, playing a game, reading a book or sipping a coffee/tea/sake! Highly recommended without a doubt! Thank you Yanbin, see you next time!

Lovely time at Kyoto House! A really fun space, mix of classic Japanese and western style. The doorways are a little low if you’re tall but really no complaints. Would stay again!

The open air onsen is extremely nice. And there is a cheap parking lot right next to the house. The bedrooms are spacious, neat and clean. Nevertheless the living room is small and better to accommodate 4 persons. In a nutshell, it is a good place to stay. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful.

Excelente localização. Casa muito bonita e tradicional, com excelentes comodidades e detalhes de requinte. O dono foi sempre muito atencioso e cooperante em tudo. Adoramos!!!

Very nice place with clean and hot tub including place! Drinks, gifts, and quick communications are great to feel welcome at place.

The home is situated near the river and is next to a lot of restaurants. The home itself is very modern, Japanese style, minimal, stylish decor, and thoughtful touches throughout. It was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions, making check-in and check-out easy. We really enjoyed being close to the water and having so many dining options within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

This home is beautiful. It’s been recently renovated and it looked, felt and smelled new. The decoration and furnishings were really lovely. It’s in a quiet residential area about 20 minutes from the main shopping and sightseeing area, 10-15 minute walk to station and 3 stops to Kawaramachi markets. It comfortably fits 7 people in 3 different bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. Appliances and tableware were all high end. It doesn’t have closets in the bedrooms, just a couple of hangers, which seems to be common in Japan hotels. Shogo, our host, was very friendly, super communicative and helpful. Also very generous with his hospitality. This place is not in the middle of the busy sightseeing areas, but it’s relatively central and easy to get to places with public transport. There are also some shops and restaurants in walking distance. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! Very cozy and spacious, and equipped with everything we needed.

家のような安心感とリゾート地のような贅沢空間が共存している、とてもリラックスできる宿でした。 日常から離れリフレッシュできる場所を探して予約しましたが、望んでいた通りの空間でまた利用したいと思いました。 次回は、ステーキ肉でBBQしたいです！ 本当にお世話になり、ありがとうございました！

サウナ、コテージともに綺麗で過ごし心地が良かったです！寝具はフカフカでぐっすり寝ることができました！ また利用したいです！

とにかく設備も揃ってるし、 全てが清潔感抜群。 プライベート空間としても塀が高いので良し。 また活用させてもらいます

仲間8人で使用させていただきましたが非常に設備も整っており 快適に過ごすことができました。 また当日の天候がすぐれずに気温が低かったですが、室内、室外の薪ストーブが新鮮で温かみがあり最高でした。 次回は暖かい時期に予約したいです。

All of the best! Definitely recommend to group or family stay. The public place is awesome. It’s close to snow park and Arima Onsen, AND THEY SERVE TRANSPORTATION! We met bad weather this winter and the cable and bus was stopped, no taxi response,barely can’t get down the mountain. Thanks for the staff. We are planning another stay this summer now~
