In addition to the satisfaction of the airbies, they provided services that exceeded the usual service, such as being able to participate in the festivities of the area. 　The host was kind and friendly, so they told me things I didn't know right away, and I had no inconvenience!

Chieri was welcoming and the perfect host. Together with her mother Kauri-san and beautiful WabiSuke, they made us feel at home and gave us a little experience of living within a Japanese Community which is what we were seeking. From inviting us to a local Sushi restaurant to allowing us to share her Tea Ceremony class, Chieri has made our short stay truly memorable.

Best place we stayed in Japan if im visiting the Kyoto area again i will 100% see if there is availability at the Hibi townhouse!

The homestay is located next to Uji Byodoin Omotesando, and it is very convenient to travel. We arrived early on the same day and the host let us check in early. At that time, we took 3 very heavy boxes. The host helped us carry them all the way. Thank you very much!The room is also very tidy and comfortable, worth recommending!

John is one of the best host I’ve ever met at Airbnb. He is very friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic. He and his wife are very nice. I also love his dogs. They are very cute.

Kenji and Kyoko are lovely people who welcomed us with open arms. We were able to discover a traditional Kyoto house. In addition, they shared their best addresses and places to visit. We also attended a tea ceremony with Kyoko. Thanks again for your hospitality and generosity.

Michael and Ikuko were amazing hosts! Breakfast was very tasty, with simple dishes that were well prepared by Ikuko herself. They made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. My wife and I really enjoyed the experience of waking up in a rural town, away from the bustling cities, and learned a lot about tea. Highly recommend staying here!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Kyoto! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help out with any questions or needs. The location is great – it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest station and equally close to popular spots like Sanjo and Nishiki Market, making it easy to explore the area. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the breakfast. It wasn’t just a standard continental breakfast – each morning, they prepared a full, delicious spread for every guest, which was such a treat to start the day. You could really feel the care and effort they put into making everyone feel at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The only minor issue was the washer and dryer, which are a bit dated. The dryer took a while to dry a half load, so I’d recommend doing smaller loads or planning laundry for when you have some time to hang out. Overall, I loved my stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting!

This guest house is will be the best choice. The host tommy is very kind and mindful. He speaks english very well, so someone who didn't speak japanese will be satified. Also, the domitory bed was very nice. It's cozy and comfotable. And Tommy will give you breakfast If you request. The toast was tasty. I recommend this guest house, you will not regret your choice. Cozy and clean cottage, as warm as home. The Host is very friendly and cute. Breakfast is rich and delicious. The bed is soft and comfortable. There are supermarkets and drug stores nearby. It is very close to Kiyomizu Temple, Ninen-zaka, and Sannenzaka. Very satisfied with the stay.🥰

Had a wonderful stay in this traditional Japanese room. The host was very friendly and accomodating. He provided us delicious breakfast every morning and gave us good tour spot recommendations. We felt comfortable and welcomed here. Would definitely come again on our next Kyoto trip.

It was my first time to use the airbie.I was anxious and nervous about what it would be like, but the tension rose with the pickup by the camper van from the station.The host was also kind and reassuring.When I arrived, it was a large house with a calm space, and I felt at ease as if I had returned home.The drink service and the fullness of the bath amenities were better than a hotel.I stayed for 2 nights, and there was a breakfast service, and I had a relaxing stay I was very relaxed.It was raining on the way back, so I was very grateful that they dropped me off at the station. I will stay when I come to Osaka again.Thank you!

Miyagon was absolutely lovely! Not only did she give us a ride to her place from the station, but a ride to the station the day we left, (the day we got there and the day we left), she even made my husband and I a delicious breakfast each morning we stayed with her. She had snacks and beverages too if we needed a little something extra. Her home was so clean, comfy, and cozy. She was so very very kind and truly by far exceeded our Airbnb expectations. Her home was also perfectly located, close enough to walk to different stations or bus stops, loads of restaurants and shopping, but still such a quiet sweet home and spot. She was an absolute dream come true hostess that we look forward to having again on our next visit.
