A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

We live in one of the houses and also rent out a cabin and the apartment on the top floor on AIRBNB. ("Rofshus2" and "Lita hytte i solfylt gårdstun") Patio with table, chairs and barbecue. Welcome to our cozy family cabin at Gausta! The cabin is from 2022 and is our own little holiday pearl that we rent out when we are not using it ourselves. Here you get a modern, space-efficient cabin spread over two floors. Detached cabin with good standard, heating cables in the floor, fireplace and patio. 1st floor: hallway, bathroom with shower and washing machine/dryer, kitchen, living room and exit to terrace 2nd floor: four small bedrooms, attic with TV and private toilet Fiber net (WiFi), 1 fixed parking space + guest parking

Modern, newly renovated apartment with a very central location in Gaustablikk. The apartment is located on the 1st floor with a veranda/patio in a nice building with six units. Ski in/out both in terms of alpine and cross country skiing. Short distance to Gaustablikk mountain hotel with restaurant, swimming pool, spa, "Den Lykkelige Sportsmann" and ski center (about 200-300 meters). The apartment has 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom with family bed and 2 bedrooms with double bed). Well equipped for 7 people with all necessary equipment.

Great apartment at Gaustatunet, with a lovely view of Gaustatoppen and Kvitåvatn. The apartment has a living room with kitchen and dining area, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, spacious hallway and large balcony. The location is top with short walking distance to activities, restaurants, shop and bakery. Hiking trail around the lake is just below the apartment, where there is the possibility of swimming, boating and canoeing. Hotel with swimming pool, restaurant, bike rental, and frisbee golf is located 5 min away. Indoor car parking.

Newer cabin with great views and nice hiking opportunities

Viking age hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden hut area. It is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities just outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but it is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic goods in kitchen cabinets and there may be goods in refrigerators with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.

Charming country house with top facilities and a stunning view of lake Follsjø. It is a calm cabin area for year-round use, located only 1,5h from Oslo. From Larvik port 124 km, only 2h drive. Here you have immediate proximity to the wilderness that offers hiking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, cross-country skiing, and Kongsberg and Gausta ski centers nearby. The cabin is newly built in 2023, luxurious, fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.

Experience historic Rjukan! The apartment is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The house was built in 1927 and is centrally located in Rjukan. Experience the sun in the square from the sun mirror, the stone network on Hardangervidda, a discovery tour to explore the architecture in the city, take the Krossobanen up to Hardangervidda, the Industrial Workers' Museum and the heavy water production at Vemork or try Gausta ski center and Gaustabanen up to Gaustatoppen (or a great walk).
