Vacation rentals with lake access in Kootenai County

This house met all our expectations. It was very clean and way larger than the photos looked. Just a 5 min walk to the beautiful dam and hiking trails and also less than 5 min drive to I-90 to go exploring. Master bedroom has a very firm bed and lots of natural light. Would love some room darkening curtains in there but otherwise it was great. The barking dog from other reviews was still there but we only heard it occasionally during the day and never at night so not a big deal. The house is well appointed with toiletries and kitchen necessities (as well as extras…very nice!) and we loved how every drawer and cupboard was labeled. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a wonderful stay! Cute, cozy, and well appointed. We felt very much at home there. Convenient location literally blocks from downtown, we took advantage of the bikes and went exploring. Highly recommended!

The house was beautiful and well stocked with little extras, like razers, etc. Very clean, well appointed, and great walkable location. Yard was charming too. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Host was friendly and helpful. Great spot!

By far one of the best places we had stayed in, peaceful, relaxing, tons of space for all of us and the host is VERY kind. Definitely appreciate the approval to be able to rent out the home when we had given a short notice.

We were only here for a long weekend, but it was such a great spot! The house was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. We loved the location and easy access to walking trails along the water. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful location and very clean house. We are extremely picky about cleanliness and we felt very comfortable here. The two twin beds are pretty firm so that’s just something to note. My kids fought over the queen room because that bed is very soft. Everything we needed was there which was great! Again, you can’t beat the location!

Beautiful space. Paige was incredibly accommodating. Rarely does a rental suit every part of our family.. a mix of toddlers, teenagers and adults, and this space did perfectly. Our only “challenge” was that I was unaware there was no tv. An oversight on my end that the teenagers were grumpy about for a moment, but we all found it to be very peaceful. Love all the small touches that made it feel like a home. Saving this one for future visits!

Great place to stay for a quiet getaway with my husband. Quiet and peaceful, yet just 10 minutes from downtown CDA restaurants, parks & shops. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with windows on all walls to see the beauty outside. We enjoyed sitting in the gazebo watching the sun go down and the boats go by. Katherine was always available to help with any questions and local recommendations.

Roberta is definitely the sweetest and most accommodating host I’ve ever had!!! She was a joy to communicate with and went the extra mile to help make our wedding weekend the best it could be❤️ Twin Lakes Village is a super cool place to explore and golf. We highly recommend booking a stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, clean place, attention to details, picturesque views, pleasant walk to/by the lake, friendly host. Has everything that one might need away from home. Would recommend for a quiet getaway.

Absolutely beautiful house! We landed super late and had to check in super late and they were so understanding. Our boys loved the house and all the lake toys even in the 60° weather. Shelley was so sweet and made checking in and everything so easy for us! :)

Terrific place for a quick stay! Checking was easy, easy to find. Close to gas stations, the freeway, and a couple little stores.

The host was very responsive. They were proactive and prided a white noise machine to help with road noise- completely unnecessary, it was quiet and comfortable. It is great for a short stay and I would recommend.

Super duper tiny, but efficient and really comfy. Decor is really nice and the location was quiet.

We loved staying at Red Barn Great location. It was nice and peaceful, enjoyed the deer. Loved playing a game of pool . Hopefully next time we can bring the family to enjoy fishing and swimming & kayaking very enjoyable! . Thank you for the welcome gifts coffee etc your very generous!

All in all a great place to stay, had everything we needed for a weekend of disc golf. Very peacefull and quite place to stay if your looking to just get away. Will definitely use it again.

Jolene's cabin is an amazing place. The lake is so close views are amazing. Jolene is very kind and responsive to your needs. I recommend highly staying here. look forward to staying again.

Beautiful home on a great street. So close to downtown. We would definitely come again.

You and your family will love this home! It is quirky and fun but so comfortable! There are two paddle boats for your use, floaties, squirt guns, etc. We were a 3 generational party of 10 and it worked well. The outside bathroom is so convenient with the shower. We put all our extra drinks out there to refill the coolers in the shed area attached to the bathroom. If you have a boat, we recommend you using it to bring all your stuff into the home. Our host was very clear that our 70 and 80 year old parents would not do well traversing the 136 stairs down to the home so we boated them in. Lots of sheets and blankets and everything you need to cook and relax! The stove is very old so we used the BBQ and did all our cooking outside (which was lovely, actually). Don't be concerned about the water. Anna is a SPECTACULAR host!!! Cell and internet service was no problem. Don't hesitate to book this amazing vacation spot. And you can boat to restaurants and golf. Everyone had a great time!

Pretty easy to find. Very easy to get in. Jack was kind enough to send me a nighttime photo of the driveway so I would see how it looked after dark. Everything worked out very easily

I cannot recommend Robert’s home enough for a trip to Couer d’Alene. It’s without a doubt one of the best stays I’ve ever had with this platform: clean, spacious, well located, comfortable, and Robert himself was an awesome host. The home is a short walk from the lake (5 minutes) and a bit further of a walk to downtown (10 minutes) and is located in what feels like a real local neighborhood. Awesome burger spot and a grocery store both a minute’s walk away were icing on the cake. Do yourself a favor and experience Idaho with Robert!!

Beautiful location and the views of the lake are amazing! The house is very well stocked, has everything you need for a great getaway. And there are definitely eagles in the area, saw them on a daily basis. Just know, there is noise from the freeway across the lake that is always present and be careful on the path and stairs down to the lake, it’s no joke.

I was in town for work. Great central location within walking distance to downtown and the lake. The Internet work well for all of my needs and the big tv with surround sound was a nice bonus. The kitchen was well equipped and all appliances were very new. I would stay here again for sure. Michael was super responsive to any messages and very easy to communicate with prior and during my stay.
