The place has adequate amenities like clean bed, hot water, cooking gas, utensils, fireplace etc. There's a small garden behind the house as well which is nice. The caretaker Anthony lives near the house and is a call away. The location is great. It's slightly secluded and yet is at a walking distance from the main market area as well as tourist attractions like the Lake, Bryant park and Coaker's walk and Vattakanal falls. There's no food options available nearby. For dinner, we had to walk to the bus stand which is not a preferred option especially at night as the last stretch of the road near the house is deserted, dimly lit and is surrounded by jungle.

Stayed here with family for a day. The rooms are clean and host was very helpful. The google map ended somewhere 50 meters of the actual location. But the host came out and guided us. They setup the fire pit at night (it was difficult since it was raining since morning). You need to climb down couple of station reach the property. Other than that everything was fine. The bottom two rooms was spacious. The top one is bit tight but that’s because of the structure. Had chapattis and chicken curry at night and curry was very good. Had to skip breakfast because it will be ready late only and we had to leave early to make it up for yesterday’s rain.

My husband and I stayed at Sanjeewani's place in Kokkal for four weeks in May 2019. It was the most peaceful and relaxing time I have had for very long rime, exactly what I needed. We had a little house all for our self on the compound with two rooms plus bathroom. Simple but cheerfully decorated, with fresh bed linen and towels and warm blankets. The bedroom had a window alcove, perfect to sit and relax, with a view of the mountains. There were several guided trek options available, but mostly we wandered around on our own in the beautiful surroundings. There was also the option to take a taxi and make a day trip to Kodaikanal, 45 minutes away. Sanjeewani and her team cooked for us and made everything to make us comfortable. Regretfully having to finally leave, we comforted ourselves that we will surely return! Highly recommended for those looking for peace in the midst of nature.

Vignesh is an excellent/hands off host, he would always respond your calls, very polite and responsible host. Nice view, very spacious house enough to accommodate 6 members, 4 beds with multiple bedsheets, good kitchen space and it has everything you would need to cook, ample parking space, posh neighborhood. Only negative is the road, to get to the house you have to claim the terrible road (there is no road), the Jali is spread across the entire path, very hard to claim and if you have a small hatchback car then it would be very difficult to drive. Vignesh mentioned that he is working to fix it, Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Loved the stay, not only us but our pets as well. What made the stay awesome is the hospitality of the stuff and great food. Cherry on the top was that there were pet loving families. Great lawn area for us and the dogs to run around, great view, super spacious rooms and cleanliness to the dot both inside and outside. The property actually is much better than how it looks in the pics. The attendants and the managers are all very responsive. Overall, had a great time. Thanks Manjula for being nice enough by checking on us that we were having a good time.

The place was extremely beautiful and very peaceful. Vast area and felt like home. Shoutout to the caretaker and the chef Shiva who took care of us throughout our stay. He was available at all times even if it was multiple requests with a smile on his face. Also the food he prepared was amazing. Definitely will recommend this place for a stay. Why a part of our family together, Sri Lakshmi peaceful mind?
