Double Dutch is located in a beautiful spot by the kamaraj lake. Wonderful for swimming. Very peaceful little village of athoor. We stayed in shanti nivas house which is across the road from the main house. Very rustic, set in a small Hill with a few other rooms. Lots of greenery around. The staff are very friendly and kind. Meal timings are set but staff were very accommodating of us and our timings. All guests eat together on the roof top. This is a quiet resort. Rooms are clean and good size , mattress very comfortable, bathroom is spacious with a good solar water heater. The host is very friendly but also gives you your space. We were the only Indian guests at the time. We were very grateful that our Labrador was also allowed to stay with us. Great place. Do visit.

The stay at Whispering Waters was amazing - away from hustle bustle of the city - surrounded by the nature’s beauty -cloudy forests with a waterfall view. This perfectly describe what Kodaikanal has to offer and getting it at a single place is a bliss. Accompanied by the hospitality from host and staff is truly amazing- very helpful, supportive, responsive and have a positive attitude to maintain the property and attend the guests. Food had been too good and just finger licking - awesome preparation and homely way of serving the food just doubles up the experience! Must recommended place in Kodaikanal to stay

A stay here is not just a vacation, it’s a soulful experience, one that lingers in your heart long after you’ve left. If you’re seeking peace, beauty, and a touch of magic, this cottage in Kodaikanal is the place to be. Ramdev is an excellent host. Also don’t miss the cats ( Grumpy, Tina & Tom) They also provide excellent homely food. Overall a very beautiful cottage in the midst of pear orchard.

*Best place to unplug from fast paced city life!** Neelakarunji is the best option available if you’re looking for a secluded, quiet place around Munnar. The stay is amidst green cardamom plantations and is away from the city hustle bustle. The architecture of the house is designed by the owner and they’ve done a great job by adding a tinge of luxury to the natural surrounding. The staff as well as the owners are extremely sweet, humble and will even go out of their ways to make your stay memorable. Traditional Kerala food is served hot and they are also open for suggestions as per taste buds. A plantation walk is a must but one can even choose to do nothing and just relax inside the property as the vibe of the place is extremely refreshing!

A beautiful resort, in a peaceful location. The views from the room and the infinity pool are amazing. It was also very fairly priced in terms of the stay and the food. Amazing hospitality from Paul, would recommend 10/10.

George was very helpful when it came to helping out on our unplanned trip Day 1. His proactiveness saved the day, literally. We were able to explore and have a great time thanks to his helping hand. Chandan was very commendable and receives my 5/5 for hospitality. His friendliness and customer obsession are beyond what I expected. Their entire staffs deserve a big applause, they served good food in short time and took care of us throughout our stay. Beautiful place to stay and unwind. We had a lot of fun with our pet. Food was excellent too and all the staff were very nice.

Amazing stay in the lap of the hills overlooking the beautiful lake. Our pet had an amazing time at the lush green garden. The hosts were responsive and helpful throughout our stay of 3 nights.

Mountain Retreat was immediately inviting due to our host and the management team. Friendly and cheerful we were immediately comfortable. The rooms are happy looking, spacious and clean and the common spaces are just as welcoming and cosy. The dining hall and lawns overlook the lake outiside making you want to spend some time soaking up the views and walking around on the grass. There is a TT table to play some ping pong and a foos ball talble to let out steam and there are cycles to go around the lake. The part we literally relished during our stay was the food. It was delectable. We tried almost every dish on the menu and thoroughly enjoyed it never feeling the need to step out and look for another place to eat. Definitely recommend this happy place to spend a couple of days in Kodai!
