Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kite Beach

Perfect for disconnecting with the world

Jose and Nathaniel were the perfect host! I wish every host was as attentive as they were! Excellent location! Excellent hot water! Excellent freezing AC, lots of space, excellent internet services, just excellent all around. Also gated community for safe keeping! Great little tiny home, away from the noise and commotion, and next to a beautiful and tranquil river. Home is super clean, cozy and comfortable, with everything you need, including a strong fan, quality AC. And I appreciated the added touch of the handy electric fly swatter, since I like leaving the windows open (though there was surprisingly very few bugs considering how deep in the woods you are). Just 10-15 drive to cabarete where a lot of restaurants and action is. But there's also a good restaurant just a short walk away. I had a good fresh fish meal there for cheap. By the river next to the home, there is a hammock and little bench to sit on. I spent a lot of time there working out, meditating and enjoying the water go by. There's also an inner tube and paddle board there, but didn't take the opportunity to use it since i was just there for two nights and had work to do. But definitely coming back and getting into the river next time!

I’m a villa guy. I have one located on the north coast and typically only stay in houses when I’m there. Over the past 15 years this was probably my 7-8 time staying in a hotel or apartment and I must say I truly enjoyed this location. The place was quiet and the amenities were perfect. I’d highly recommend this for anyone looking to have a room or two that is daytime walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

For me that place is great, the only criticism and escape to Jissel is the inflexible check-out time. Cute view, Linda installation, super easy to have breakfast right there, far (but nearby, which is not misinterpreted) from the kites. You can enjoy the beach without a sail or board falling on you, but you are close if you want to walk to where they are. We will repeat!!!

It's a place to stay with everything you might need. You will feel at home because it has all the necessary amenities. Lumy and Francisco's attentions are excellent and always attentive to any questions you have. I would definitely stay there again when I get back to Puerto Plata.

If you love the beach and/or surf this place is the perfect stay! The 10 min walk to the beach was a daily activity for us. The space is quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay very much 😊

I felt like I was at home

Everything was as described. The place is super safe, quiet and exclusive, ideal for relaxing without worries. Best of all: the private beach! A true paradise, perfect to enjoy in complete privacy. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back.

El Rinconcito de Merys is a cozy house that takes you back to your childhood at your grandparents' house in the countryside. It offers you all the amenities you need in a simple way, but above all the opportunity to interact with and contemplate nature. It is 100% worth getting up to see the beautiful sunrise that can be enjoyed from the front patio.

A beautiful place to spend time as a family and in a peaceful environment. Beautiful facilities that invite you to rest and enjoy nature (including harmless insects). Very well located, close to the attractions of Rio San Juan. As a city dweller, I miss having security personnel nearby, although the place doesn't show signs of insecurity. There was a timely response to requests during the stay. Very good lodging option!

The place is even better than the pictures. Self check-in was easy. It's very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable. The place is very quiet and private. We really enjoyed the heated pool. We spent four very pleasant nights. I recommend it.
