Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Kitaazumi District

Great hosts, the hot spring in the place was awesome too, nice to wake up and relax or after hitting the ski resort for the day! Recommend trying it out.

Amazing house with 2 bath and 2 toilets and large living space Mark was so accommodating to allow our change in plans and helped us wherever he could and was there to help us check in smoothly He also came to fix our washing machine and made sure everything worked for us Just behind is two slopes but we were at beginner level so those were too steep for us Place came with children sled and snowman making scoops Place also came with 4WD and snow tires and own parking - do not recommend driving own car because Mark’s car is more suitable for Hakuba winter road conditions!!!!

I stayed here with my family, their first time to Japan. We couldn’t be more impressed by the accomodation, highly recommend. They were very accomodating and friendly throughout the whole stay, made it feel like home. It was a very close drive to tsuigake mountain (5min drive) which were complimentary drives. The breakfast in the morning was also amazing. The whole place was very neat, tidy & well kept. We also loved the indoor hot spring at the end of the snow day. We developed a good relationship with the owners and their son Allen, they were very fun to get along with. We will definitely stay here again we can’t wait to come back! :)

Great place to stay with a nice host. Very close to alps and beautiful nature surrounding the place. Had a very relaxing time.

Had an awesome stay at Chalet de Cotto with a group of six. The free pickup and drop off service was very helpful given it can be difficult to get taxis in Hakuba at peak times. Beautiful place would stay again.

Very pleasant stay with Lulu and her family! Great location, nice and warm rooms with snow gear storage space! The biggest surprise is we got lots of local support from the host! They are always supportive and ready to help! Highly recommend to the travellers who dont speak Japanes! Will definitely come back! Thank you Lulu and tkk

We loved our stay at Daniel’s apartment in Iwatake! Everything was as described & pictured. Pick up and drop off to station great - as was the food shop at the start. All staff friendly. The drying room was very good and something we didn’t even know was a MUST! The new Gondala was very nice and the view from the top of the mountain was stunning. The ski lift near the apt did not open when we were there even tho there was so much snow which was disappointing. Daniel always responded to questions friendly and quickly and I would recommend these apartments for skiing families. Beds and amenities were great - the washer and dryer also handy. The apts are quite a distance away from most things in Hakuba (good and bad)- it cost me $50aud round trip to go to the shops (10 mins) to get some good and there really is not many restaurants or food close by and the cheap taxi would not collect from the apts. Some other guests were noisy and could be heard through walls. Would love to come back

Excellent location and the rooms were clean and cosy. The bed was very comfortable which we were happy with as we all slept very well. There is only one shower if you don’t want to use the Onsen however we never had an issue with this or had to wait. They also accommodated our dietary requirements for breakfast 😊

Great place to stay! Located right next to the mountain so it was super convenient for snowboarding. Friendly staff and cute dogs! They offer shuttles to other ski resorts in Hakuba or into town which made getting around easy. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at “@Tsugaike” with Marc and Heather! The ski-in, ski-out access made it so convenient to hit the slopes every day. Marc and Heather were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with fantastic recommendations to make the most of our trip. The evening chats with them were a highlight—such great company! We also booked some ski lessons with their son Daniel, which were excellent and really helped improve our skills. This place truly offers the perfect combination of hospitality and convenience. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. Great for families. We’ll definitely be back!

I felt so lucky to have booked a room at Ado’s place. He was available at all time to assist and went above and beyond to help me after I had a bad injury on the 2nd day of my ski trip. He helped me move around, stay an extra night and also helped me get to my bus stop with all my luggage. I’d 100% stay here again knowing the service level.

Phil was an absolute legend. He went above and beyond to help us out with what we needed around the town. Harmony house was the perfect spot to stay in Hakuba and we will definitely be back.

Shayne was a great host. Very friendly, welcoming and willing to help us out with food recs, getting dropped off at ski resorts, restaurants, and train station. Would love to come back and visit.

Daniel’s apartment was exactly as described. It was large (larger than most accommodation in Japan) and very comfortable. The ensuites were pristine and water pressure was great. The kitchen was clean and had the basics. We very much enjoyed our stay. Daniel went above and beyond - allowing us early check in, booking us restaurant and taxis. Even printing forms for us which we greatly appreciated. A brilliant host.

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.

ホストさんの人の温かさが素晴らしいです。 困ったことがあればすぐに対応してもらえました。 普段全国のヴィラやコテージを趣味で回ってるのですが このクオリティでこの価格は良い意味であり得ないと思ってます。 BBQを手ぶらで利用するためには+4500円 焚き木を楽しむには+2500円 掛かりますが、近くのホームセンターや持参もOKとのことです。 BBQセットは自由ですので炭などと食材を持っていけばオプション料金かからずすぐにできますね 大きな半露天風呂つきです 大人4人は入れます。キレイでした。 出来立ての宿泊施設で英語表記も完璧。 ここは近いうちに人気になりそうだと思います じゃらんや一休にも載せたら予約で埋まりそうだと思います(余計なおせっかいかもしれませんがw) 本当に素晴らしいご対応ありがとうございました

Booked Alpine Condo for 2 x families of 4. Perfect for us. Larger space than expected and our kids loved being able to walk outside and toboggan. You could ski to the chairlift (quad 4) or walk in 5 min. A number of restaurants and even food trucks near by. Getting supermarket food supplies was a bit of a trek but once we worked out Uber/taxis etc it was easy enough and we just made sure we stocked up. Would definitely book again.

I can’t hype this place up enough. Perfect homey hideaway, right next to sakka slopes!! After a recommendation of rental gear (5 minutes away) we just needed to gear up and cross the road to the ski lifts. Its such a flex to be able to just walk back across the road to a warm and homey villa. We can’t thank Yasue and her partner enough. We will be back!! Would love to hike this area in spring. It was purely magical in winter, and was lucky enough to see some snow monkeys too!! We loved Hakuba. Hopefully we can come when there are less tourists as they can be quite disrespectful. We hope we have made a good impression for you!! Thank you very much and can’t wait to be back!!
