Please provide precautions at the same time as check-in. It was my first time using it, but I was able to use it smoothly without worry. There were also plenty of kitchen tools, cooking utensils, and plates, so I had a fun barbecue with only ingredients. If I have the opportunity, I will use it again.

Large, traditional country house with hot spring!

MardhiahRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a fantastic time at this Airbnb! The location is perfect for those seeking adventure with family and friends, offering a great balance of nature and comfort. The large room on the second floor was spacious enough to accommodate our group of 10 comfortably. The highlight of our stay was definitely the private onsen—it was absolutely amazing! Being able to enjoy a relaxing soak every day made our trip extra special. The onsen is large enough to fit multiple people, but if you only need a quick shower, you’ll have to take turns using it. The house is heated using a gasoline heater, which worked fine for us, but it’s good to be aware of this in advance. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy yet adventurous getaway!

Quiet, very clean, has all the amenities you need and very spacious. Any questions we had were answered very quickly. Jason, Fumiko and Mia were really responsive and kind. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts and place to stay in Japan. The place has all the amenities you need and is very new and modern. The entire house has heated floors which a luxury we didn’t realize we needed. Definitely plan on coming back to stay again.

Great location, quick response, but feels like a corporation - they make you feel out other forms, and pay for extra towels. Kind of weird. But, overall absolutely beautiful and a great place

Desmond’s place is wonderful. Warm, cosy and spacious (more than enough room for our family of five); excellent striking location amongst the trees surrounded with snowy fields and a breathtaking mountain backdrop. Great sense of solitude whilst being minutes away from shops, cafes, ski rental shops etc. very convenient for the many ski resorts. Very highly recommended.

Kitsune Cottage Red, Hakuba, Japan

AshRating, 5 stars2 months ago
One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had across many countries and years. Had a group of six of us stay. Patrick coordinated with us to pick us up from the station, offered to drive us to gather groceries, and made time to drop us off when we left. Took time to make sure we were comfortable, understood how to use the homes features, and gave us plenty of information on what to do in the area, even down to giving us updates on mountain weather each morning and making recommendations on which ski field to go to each day based on changing weather conditions. He was invaluable and a super friendly and helpful host. Thanks mate! See you next time!

Hanna's House Hakuba

PeterRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We enjoyed our stay. The house was as described, while compact is was slightly larger than I had envisaged. Definitely well located in Echoland. Desmond and his team provided complimentary transfers too and from Hakuba Station which was greatly appreciated. From my research Hannas house provide good value for money. I would recommend Hannas house with a few caveats, the stairs to the second level are very steep so maybe not great for very young children or if you are less mobile. We were lucky to have significant snow falls which meant that quite a bit of shovelling was required to keep the entry clear and the driveway accessible if you are considering hiring a car.

I visited with 4 families, including my elderly parents. We have been using this owner's property for a year, but we are always impressed. Zamu is big and beautiful!Do you have such a big house!?I used it for about 12 people, but I didn't feel cramped at all. It's spacious enough for the kids to run around. It was too big and remembered the home of the Home Alone😊 The barbecue set was also prepared right away on the day, and the TV was poor on the first day, so the staff came and responded right away when I contacted them. The kitchen was lovely, so I'm a little regretting that I should have booked a catering chef.I recommend eating a professional chef in that dining room!

Big Bear Apartments 6, One Bedroom, Hakuba

This place was a hop, skip away from the Sakka Kitaone lift which was great! The place is a bit far from the main Happo One area where the bus terminal and restaurants are. There are restaurants closeby by since we went end of March, a lot of places started to wind down. Darren’s team was quick to respond to messages and were prompt for pickups every day! The only complaint I have was that the wi-fi provided was extremely weak so it was not working. There was another one but we kept getting an error that the password was incorrect so we just used our own data. Otherwise everything about the stay was great!
