Great place to stay! Located right next to the mountain so it was super convenient for snowboarding. Friendly staff and cute dogs! They offer shuttles to other ski resorts in Hakuba or into town which made getting around easy. Would definitely stay here again!

We are travelers from Hong Kong, and this is our first time in Hakuba. Our experience at Hamon has been excellent. It is conveniently located near the Tsugaike Ski Resort, can ski-in, ski-out. The guesthouse is very clean and stylish. The host is incredibly welcoming. We will definitely book this place again for the next snow season! I love this place very much’

We felt right at home in Nick and Hiro’s lodge. All of the other guests were very friendly and it felt like a big ski family! Nick kindly picked us up/dropped us off at the station, and gave us the BEST mountain recommendations each day (he never got it wrong). We would recommend this place for a lodge style stay, good for families, singles and couples alike!

Great atmosphere. Felt right at home with my 2 kids. Very comfortable hanging out in the common areas with lots of fire places. Nick very helpful speaking very good english

Tbh I don't want to write a review as it may wreak my chances of getting acoom again. it's great to know places like this still exist. very welcoming and homely. the other guests were fantastic and nick and Hiro go beyond with their help and knowledge. I can't wait to stay here again.

I felt so lucky to have booked a room at Ado’s place. He was available at all time to assist and went above and beyond to help me after I had a bad injury on the 2nd day of my ski trip. He helped me move around, stay an extra night and also helped me get to my bus stop with all my luggage. I’d 100% stay here again knowing the service level.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lodge! The location is perfect—just a short walk to Echoland, the supermarket, and the bus stop, making it incredibly easy to get to the ski resorts. We spent almost a month here and were thoroughly impressed with the comfort and convenience. Nick and Hiro’s hospitality truly made our experience even more special. We’re beyond satisfied and can’t wait to return next season. Thank you both for making our stay unforgettable!
