Vacation rentals with lake access in Kill Devil Hills

This is a great place with a beautiful view! It’s very comfortable. The kitchen has several pots/pans/dishes/flatware/etc. There are plenty of extra sheets/towels/blankets/etc. too. Cheri was an incredibly responsive host and did some digging to look for a wheelchair beach access area we needed - so helpful! We really enjoyed our stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The place was spotless, quiet, private, picturesque, nicely decorated, and had just the perfect amount of amenities. I would highly recommend for a no-hassle, easy, aesthetically-pleasing stay!

Stayed during a duck hunt and worked out perfect. Everything with the house was as listed. Check in was easy and instructions were clear.

My dog and I spent a relaxing week at Lidia's place. The house was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the swing in the fenced-in backyard while my dog lounged in the sun. Looking forward to a return trip!

Three friends and I stayed at Sheila's place for a long weekend for our annual reflection and intention-setting retreat. My friend had stayed there previously with her family, so we knew from her experience that it would be a gem. But the house and Sheila still completely blew away my expectations. The house and setting is absolutely stunning - amazing sunsets and views. Sheila was the perfect host and incredibly helpful with so, so many details. I can't recommend this place more. I hope to stay there again in the future.

Mary and Larry’s house was absolutely amazing and comfortable. We have two small children and they both loved our stay there and they didn’t want to leave! Their place is so beautiful and easy walk to the beach and swimming pool. They have all the beach equipments and toys ready for us to use and the huge inflatable duck float was definitely a big hit for our kids. Thank you so much again for your kindness and hospitality, Mary and Larry! It was nice meeting you. We will definitely come back and stay at their place again!

We had a great stay, and highly recommend this space! Vjollca was exceptionally responsive and helpful. It was a great perk to be able to park under cover and walk right into the unit. It’s a cozy little space perfect for two!

Really enjoyed the condo it was a perfect base camp for a variety of activities in the OBX. There was a well stocked kitchen which was great as we did a lot of home meals. The condo was nicely decorated, and the beds were super comfy! James was easy to contact and communicated back quickly if asked a question. Was a great stay.

We loved No Ordinary Sunrise! Thomas was a great host, and we would definitely return to this beautiful home again. It was spotless and the location is great for anyone looking to adventure around the Outer Banks.

We totally understand and agree with Tanya being listed as a Super Host with 5+Stars! From making the reservation until checkout, Tanya made certain that we had absolutely everything we could possibly need for our stay, from extra toiletries, beach towels, sunscreen and even a sewing kit! She is responsive to messages, provides tips and suggestions on trips, places to visit and local restaurants! The house is pristine yet feels like home! We will definitely be making many more trips and this will be our “ home away from home!”

My wife and I stayed with our two kids and my parents (and their dog) and had a great time! The house is cozy but comfortable for 6, with a good amount of living space including a very nice sunroom. Amy was friendly and helpful in our communications and proactive at checking how things were going, and helped ensure we had a nice stay the whole time. Staying on the sound was beautiful, especially the sunsets. The house is right on a great multiuse path which is perfect for walking or biking to the nearby coffee shop or for exercise. Grocery stores and restaurants are close too, as are destinations like Jockey's Ridge and the Wright Brothers memorial. Two little things that made me happy were walking past the Muscadine vine in the front yard, and the color of the mailbox: a light blue which made it unique and easy to find when driving down an unfamiliar street. If your group is the right size for it, Safe and Sound is a great place to stay, and Amy is an excellent host!

Great place would highly recommend to anybody perfect location

This cottage was perfect for our family's spring break trip. It was peaceful, quiet, and a quick walk to the beach! The cottage itself was wonderful--clean, decorated wonderfully, and surprisingly spacious!

We enjoyed our stay and found the home well equipped. The turtles are fun to watch. This is a very unique home and a short walk to the beach. We would stay there again!
