Beachfront vacation rentals in Kill Devil Hills

The condo was very charming with new appointments and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed sunrise each morning and the sound of the waves crashing each night. The kitchen was well equipped and had sufficient space for the two of us. It was also nice to have both a full and half bath as well as a door between the sink area and toilet/shower in the full bath. Having several options for coffee with espresso, drip, and a Keurig was a big plus A few observations we want to share. It would be very tight to fit 6 people in the place but you could comfortably have two couples or a couple with two kids with the second pair on the sleeper sofa. Overall it was a great stay for our anniversary weekend!!!

What a lovely place. We enjoyed three nights of absolute peace and relaxation with an amazing view overlooking the ocean. It felt like an actual home - so comfortable. Mere steps from the beach, which was never very crowded. We were very impressed by how clean and well maintained it was. It looks like it’s been recently renovated, so everything felt very fresh. Nice plush white towels, soft comforters and linens, and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could need. Paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and sponge, trash bags, coffee and filters, salt and pepper, cooking oil, hand soap, etc. were provided. We liked all the little touches, such as labeling the light switches and contents of drawers, and posting signs about how to access the Wi-Fi. We’re strongly considering making this a yearly tradition and would absolutely return to this property!

The place was exactly what we were looking for. We were in town for the Jazz Fest which was across the street, so it was perfect. The beach was a little bit of a walk, but wasn't the primary reason for our visit so it was fine. The place is really cute and comfortable.

Perfect spot for a family vacation in the OBX! We loved the location (very short walk to the beach, several great restaurants), lots of space to spread out and games/cards/puzzles in the house, and the pool/spa were amazing! There are tons of pool toys and floats, and beach gear too! Great view of the ocean from the upstairs balcony. There is also new furniture in the upstairs living room that the pictures don’t show which was an added bonus! We will be back!

Excellent place. Had everything one would need for a beach stay. Comfortable beds. Everything you could need and more in the place - kitchen, outdoor activities. Easily the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed in.

We had a wonderful stay… the OBX is now our favorite vacations spot! Sounds Groovy was Awesome with wonderful and responsive hosts.

We spent this past week here for our honeymoon. Beautiful space, very clean, amazing view. Plenty of things to do in the area as well. Very clear check in and out instructions. We would definitely come back and stay again (maybe this time when it’s a little warmer and the pool is open)

It was our first time to the Outer Banks and we loved it! Our stay at the condo was great. It was quiet and clean and kitchen was nicely stocked with items for cooking. It is a very close distance to the beach which was convenient. We brought our bikes and biked almost everywhere. The condo is definitely located within walkable distance to restaurants and other places.

Our 4 day stay was amazing. The house was exceptionally clean and welcoming. Communication was great, questions were answered almost immediately. A binder was left for us with all the instructions we needed, as well as menus for local restaurants. The beach is just a short walk away and the access can be seen from the driveway. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after a lot of driving and walking. This is a great location for anyone who has kids and wants easy access to the beach, as well as being close to all of the restaurants and shops. We are already planning our next trip and hope to book again.

Our family had the best time at Easy Breezy. Alex had thought of everything when it comes to a vacation home and I can't even put into words how peaceful it was. We kayaked, paddle boarded, fished , napped, sun bathed on the dock and enjoyed the hot tub which was an amazing perk. We caught 6 crabs and some ocean perch. This place had everything you could want and we didn't want to leave. It was by far the best rental we have ever stayed at. Our dogs even had a blast!

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

We had such a great stay. The place had everything we needed, and the location was great- super close to everything but still nice and quiet at night. Definitely recommend staying here!”

We had a lovely visit over spring break to Nags Head and Natalie's home was the perfect place to stay. It was 10 of us (adults and kids) and the space was clean, welcoming and exactly as described. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Close to the beach and restaurants. We had a couple of rainy days but the games in the house kept us busy. We look forward to returning in the future.

Joy's "Changing Tides" was exactly what my family needed for a little get away. The house was beautiful, the decor and furnishings were beachy and comfortable. Being able to walk right out on the beach was fantastic. All of our children loved playing in the ocean. Very convenient to Duck and restaurants, shopping, and of course ice cream. Joy was very responsive. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again!

This place worked great for the six guys that were there for fishing. Had everything we needed and Cindy was very accommodating. We will definitely stay there again

The first thing I noticed when we walked in was how clean the house was and how amazing it smelled! The house is just as pictured and very spacious. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. We had 3 adults, two teens and a large yellow lab. So much space for all of us. The views were gorgeous. I watched the sunrise every morning from either the kitchen window, primary bedroom or the beach just a short walk away. The dog friendly beach was so great and everyone was so friendly. Maria and Mike went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They were genuinely kind and thoughtful hosts. We enjoyed a much needed relaxing vacation here riding bikes, beach walks, shopping, and great family time in the house. The house provided everything we needed. It was nice to easily wash the dog off outside after beach trips. This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we can’t wait to return! Thank you!

Erin and Matt’s place was wonderful. The best part is the location - it’s centrally located so you can walk to restaurants and shops nearby, and you can see the bay side from your window. The apartment is beautifully decorated and was perfect for a quick beach trip. Erin and Matt went above and beyond to make our stay special and provided amazing recommendations in town. I would highly recommend staying at any one of Erin and Matt’s properties. They are easily the best Airbnb hosts we’ve ever had.

One of the best AirBnB’s we’ve ever stayed in! Accommodations are very appropriate given the coastal setting and proximity to the beach. House has everything you could need for the super walkable day trips to the beach and more! Inside is comfortable and makes you feel as if you’re truly in a beach cottage with neat coastal decor throughout. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Nadia’s place is great! Clean, safe, and exactly as described. Location is perfect. One block from the beach, which made it super easy to access. We loved all of the amenities included in our stay, such as beach chairs and a cooler. Even our pup had a fabulous time! Would highly recommend. We look forward to returning in the future.

Our family had a great time at this very dog and kid friendly home. Our furr baby ran around the yard and had a great time playing in the sand pile. I don't know if that is temporary as the fence just went up, but the kids really enjoyed that feature too. The kids are already asking when we can go back and want to stay it this house again. We absolutely loved our stay in southern shores! This lovely cottage is a 2 min stroll to the beach on a quiet dead end road and a 10 min bike ride into the town of duck! We enjoyed the peaceful beach as well as the wonderful screened in porch to start and end each day! The beach toys and bikes were a great addition! We can’t wait to come back for another visit!

I had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was spotless, very clean, beds were comfortable, it was exactly how it is depicted and described. I needed a place to decompress after my dad’s funeral and this was just the place. I traveled with my German Shepherd and we were able to take long walks on the beach right across the street. The host was very responsive to any questions I had and communicated when the place was ready early. Would totally recommend.
