Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kanto Region

There are some places that remind you why you love Airbnb — and Hiroki’s home in Chigasaki is one of them. A true gem: bright, beautifully designed, nestled beside a peaceful Japanese garden. Just steps away is a charming little café run by a kind and talented host, serving delicious meals. And the five bicycles provided? They allowed us to explore the town at our own pace, all the way to the nearby beach. Chigasaki is perfect for a few days of slow life, far from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Without a doubt, this is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. A place we leave reluctantly, but that makes us want to come back.

Booked this place for a week stay with a group of 5. Check in was quick and easy, the house looks exactly like the photos and was extremely clean. Plenty of space and a walkable distance to local combinis and train station. Host was quick to respond to any questions. I would absolutely recommend a stay!

Michael非常温暖有趣，他的房屋干净整洁，用心装点。其实房屋的位置去附近的城崎海岸、大室山⛰️、仙人掌公园都不远。仔细看Michael提供的guide book，里面有很多的购物、餐饮和旅游建议～伊豆是个安静的海边小镇，天气好时能清楚的在阳台看到蔚蓝的大海，记得沿着房子周围散散步，你会看到邻居的花园正盛开美丽的花朵，还有时不时会串出的小松鼠🐿️和鸟儿～是个放松和享受自然的好地方～祝大家开心❤️🌸

Staying at this Airbnb was a wonderful experience. It was easily walkable from the closest station. The place is nice and clean and had a lot of room. The beds were comfortable and there were enough amenities that made the stay comfortable and easy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful and very responsive. Overall would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here as a family of 2 adults, 2 teenagers. It’s a lovely apartment and had everything we needed, all in perfect condition. It was good to have the separate bedroom. The apartment is located a bit out of the centre so was quiet and we travelled by metro everywhere we wanted to go, but it has 2 stations in easy walking distance. Yasuko is a great host - really friendly and helpful and provided nice welcoming touches on arrival. Thank you Yasuko - it was a great end to our trip to Japan.

We arrived really early and needed to leave our luggage at airbnb before our check in time and our host was very accommodating.

De mooiste en grootste plek waar we verbleven in Japan. Zorgeloos geslapen en genoten van de rust en de zee voor we onze vlucht naar huis moesten nemen. El lugar es genial, es una casa con 3 habitaciones, 2 estaciones de metro muy cerca lo que facilita mucho la movilidad por la ciudad, konbini muy cerca tambien, el espacio del lugar es bastante ya que es una casa, eramos 3 personas, cada quien con 2 maletas grandes y teniamos mucho espacio, si vuelvo a Tokyo definitivamente repetiría hospedaje a aquí.

The Airbnb was wonderful, a good amount of space and all the amenities needed. The host was very friendly and happy to help out with any requests we had and had recommendations for things to do/buy while there. It was perfect for a longer term stay with all necessities nearby and a good yakitori restaurant downstairs

Smaller than expected, but in great location to visit senso ji temple.

일본 집 치고 엄청 넓어요 침대 두대 있었고 주방도 있어서 먹기 편했어요 비와서 추웠는데 난방도 잘 되었어요. 화장실과 욕조가 분리되어있어서 좋았습니다. 욕조 많이 이용했어요 호스트 엄청 친절하고 10분이내에 답와요 다음에 괜찮으면 또 이용할듯

the location was amazing! it had everything we needed from conbinis to restaurants to a dryer. it is not far to walk to the station as well. the place is quite small actually but it fits 2 people. won’t be able to open 2 huge luggages at once though.

Masami was amazing! From the booking process to the stay, she was extremely communicative and responsive. Her guides in the home was thorough and left me feeling confident when navigating appliances in a difference language. The location was also very convenient. I would definitely recommend Masami!

We stayed at Sho's place all 5 days we were visiting Tokyo. Going around all day in busy areas, and then coming back to Yotsuya and our quiet neighborhood, and EXTREMELY comfortable bed, was the perfect situation. The counterspace in the bathroom is great, even for two people, and the AC is very effective. Highly recommend Sho's spot. The neighborhood is gorgeous, quiet, and has plenty of places to stock up on everyday needs, the place itself is all-around a fantastic home base for your trip, and Sho is the kindest host.

Yusuke and Asami were extremely responsive. The place is extremely cosy and clean and it feels just like home. We love the concept of having a notebook that consists of the guests’ experiences and recommendations. Location was convenient too, esp with Lawson right below the apartment. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at Toshi's place two years in a row and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing being close to the beach, many cute shops and cafe, the train station and main street of Hase. The place is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully managed with all the amenities you need and more. Toshi is a great host and always responsive, and provided very clear instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying here!

We loved staying here! The neighborhood (Gotanda) has lots of shops and restaurants nearby yet is not as touristy or crowded as other parts of Tokyo. 5 min walk to the metro and JR station made it very convenient. The apartment had 3 separate mini-split AC units so each bedroom and the living room could be adjusted to fit preference. It was also very clean and well-stocked with the essential supplies. Bryan even stocked the fridge with an assortment of drinks for our arrival. That was a nice personal touch. He met with us upon check-in to go over the equipment and answer any questions. He also gave great recommendations for restaurants which we tried them all out. Overall, very happy with having stayed here and can't wait to return.

Hitomi took amazing care of me and my daughter while we were her guests! She sent us a detailed list of recommendations for the neighborhood including kid-friendly highlights. When my daughter needed to go to the doctor, she sent a list of clinics. She also helped me ship some luggage to make my train trip easier. She was an incredible host, always going above and beyond. A short but great stay in a peaceful area just outside Tokyo. The apartment is spacious and has a lot of different amenities which make up for a comfortable experience. I also got to meet the owner, who was very friendly. Would definitely recommend!
