Experiencing such warm hospitality is truly special. A comfortable and welcoming atmosphere can make any stay feel like home. The kindness of preparing breakfast is a thoughtful gesture! It's wonderful and rare to find such generous hosts. These small acts of care create lasting memories. They were so kind picking us up from the train station and dropping us off too! We will definitely book in Akiko's bnb in the future! I wish you both well a healthy ang loooong life! Thank you once again!

My two nights with Wakoh and her family were amazing. Check-in goes smoothly, you are completely autonomous. The location of the house is on the other side, rural and totally quiet, but you can still be in the center in 20 minutes on foot at the latest. You can get great tips from the hosts. The family is very personable and helpful, the two dogs are super nice and do not disturb at all. Wakoh Prepare a very tasty breakfast. She gives a lot of ideas and has also offered car service. The other guests were also very kind. I would come back to stay anytime.
A cozy sleeping area is featured with a spacious bed covered in a light-colored floral duvet. A soft blanket is visible on the bed. Natural light streams through a nearby window, complementing the warm wooden tones of the room.

Niiyama's place is great and the people is always to happy to assist on any concern. Thumbs up to Muneho and his co driver who even if they have a hard time speaking in English they were able to communicate well. Also to Rose and Malou who are both Filipinas. They were all so kind and helpful. We would love to stay in your place in our next visit to Tokyo. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I've used AirBnB in a number of countries. My mom also hosts a few AirBnBs at her multi-family unit. I mention this information to suggest I am very familiar with AirBnBs. This apartment is great. We stayed for two weeks (taking a short trip in the middle). Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Close to a 7-Eleven for quick and easy start to the day (or to finish the night). Close to Ueno for Shinkansen/museums/metro. Close to Nezu, too (and Nippori). Host is easy to communicate with. Place is clean. The only thing I would mention is if you are a taller person, just be aware of the ceilings/doorways. I'm a touch over 6ft. Showering will require you to watch your head. Not a negative. Just wanted to mention. Please be respectful if you stay here (and anywhere, honestly). This country deals with a lot of bad tourists. Don't be one of them.
A compact sleeping area features a raised bed with a patterned blanket and two dark pillows. Below, a tatami mat is positioned, providing additional sleeping space. Natural light enters through a large window adorned with light curtains, illuminating the wooden floor and textured wall.

The place is conveniently close to bus stops and within walking distance to Urayasu Station. Disneyland is one short bus ride away. The space is cute, with charming Disney-themed touches, and it smelled lovely. Surprisingly there was no bidet, but overall we had a fantastic experience.
A colorful guest room is presented with a double bed and tatami mat area. A large plush toy sits on the bed, and patterned bedding offers a touch of design. Natural light filters through the window with cheerful curtains, illuminating the modern decor.

Hotel Kakurega is perfectly located. Only 20 minutes by Taxi from Narita Airport. 5-8 minutes walk from Naritasan Shinsho-ji, you will find lots of restaurants and local shops around that area. It’s delightful. Staff is ready to assist and they speak English. Breakfast is simple but it will get you started before you hit the ground to get goodies at Marondo Bakery, close to Narita Station only 8 minutes away. I wish I could have extended my stay, but they were fully booked. This place is truly a gem.
A cozy room features a spacious bed with white linens and two bright yellow towels placed at the foot. A window allows natural light to enter, illuminating the space. A small television is visible on a wooden cabinet, leading to a private bathroom.

Yuu-san welcomed me for the New Years holidays even though I made a reservation in the last moment. He and his family are very kind and welcoming. I enjoyed exploring the traditional New Year's meals and the musical selection every morning :) This artistic home is in a peaceful countryside area and great if you need to disconnect and find your creativity. Thank you for your hospitality!

B&B on the 2nd floor of a new build detached house

MonicaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Madoka and Kuero were great hosts! They make you feel right at home from the moment you step in. They also are amazing chefs and we enjoyed a balanced and delicious breakfast everyday of our stay. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome and I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough. Great location, peaceful neighborhood with great restaurants around the area including Madoka’s and Kuero’s café: MoguMogu. All the rooms are clean and pristine. It was always great to be able to fully relax at their place after all the long walking all over Tokyo every day. Thank you guys! We will miss you and we hope to see you again soon!

Motoko was very hospitable, and used some English with us since we couldn't speak much Japanese. She also made us breakfast-to-order each day which was *amazing*. The overall environment felt warm and welcoming, and me and my two co-guests were very comfortable. You should know that this is someone's home with a shared kitchen/living room. You and your fellow guests have a more private living space which includes a washing area, bedrooms and other necessities. (and the host has her own space upstairs as well, so you still have a fair amount of privacy regardless). As long as you're ok with that, this will be a great stay!

I come to Japan every year after the pandemic, and although I rarely book a B&B, this host is the best host I have come across. He is very enthusiastic and will chat with you (although my English is very bad QAQ) will also tell you about good restaurants and hot springs nearby; meanwhile, the owner's barbecue dinner is good, highly recommended.

Michiko and Miho's place is wonderful. it's essentially a snowboarding hostel run by the family, and has all the charm you could ask for. every breakfast and dinner is prepared, and is AMAZING. everyone gathers in the cafeteria, and after all the guests are fed, the family and staff all eat together. it all feels extremely genuine and unique, especially because it's primarily Japanese guests who stay there. they even provided rental gear, and arranged a ride to nozawa with a resident snowboarding instructor. I'd recommend this stay to anyone looking for a unique and wholesome excursion out of the major cities.

It was super nice. The two hosts were extremely helpful! We felt super comfortable and visited one of the onsen in the neighborhood. The location is great - it is quiet and you can walk directly to Snow Monkey Park (about 1.5 hours) or take the bus. There are many small restaurants and bars near. We would definitely come back.
