The inn is located in front of JR Yugawara Station, and there are many supermarkets, convenience stores, specialty stores, and restaurants such as Japanese, Western, Chinese, etc., but the area around the inn is quiet with lots of greenery. Enter the Japanese-style roofed Korean gate and climb about 12 stone steps to the historic Shiroyamakan grounds. There are 3 separate rooms on this property and a half-open-air bath with a source spring flowing through the garden path. From the accommodation, you can easily go to popular tourist destinations such as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Odawara, Atami, Ito, Fuji, and Mishima. Nearby are Yugawara Beach, Ume, Satsuki, and Kaede, as well as many historical remains from the early Kamakura period more than 800 years ago. It can also be used as a base for exciting fishing in Sagami Bay or hiking in Makuyama, Shiroyama, etc. You can also enjoy golf, tennis, etc. There is also a sports gym with a heated pool a few minutes' walk from the house. It is available in winter, but requires a separate fee.
