This home was perfect for our family. Upon arrival we were very impressed with how comfortable we felt in the space. The beds were comfortable, the home was clean, the towels smelled great! Our family of 4 definitely recommends this home. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this home and we are booked again for later this fall. The home is beautiful and comfortable. We love the theater in the basement. Barbara is so helpful and a great host.

Very cozy little house, but very clean.

Our stay was fabulous! We walked in to a restful space with every amenity we needed. David graciously offered an early arrival, and while we didn’t need it, it was so nice to be offered. He also didn’t ask for a pet fee! This was a first! I appreciated it so much and it made us want to clean even more. The house is beautiful, and so is the neighborhood. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and were proactive. It was a great stay!

This place is great—like someone sat down and said, “What if we made the coziest little house that actually has everything you need and nothing you don’t?” And then they nailed it. Everything has a purpose, it’s super clean, and it just feels… peaceful. Not fancy, but in a really good, Great Plains kind of way—simple, calm, and exactly right. Also—Emporia is a lovely little town! Super friendly folks, some solid food spots, and just an all-around chill vibe. This Airbnb was the perfect little home base for some gravel cycling. Would absolutely stay again.

Great stay, moving across the country and needed a place to sleep for a night and was perfect, but also felt like I could have stayed longer.

This place was exactly as described and a great stay for me. There is a coffee shop just a short walk away and it's in a very nice neighborhood. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Julie's place was very clean and located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The instructions posted around the house were very helpful, and I like that she keeps costs low by ensuring guests keep the space nice. She was very responsive and made sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. This was a nice place for a quick stay in Lawrence!

I am not sure if it is listed, but besides the great little apartment, there is a beautiful park walking path only a block away. It was a great surprise on top of how cozy and well equipped the apartment was.

Loved the Historic Buffalo Haus. Beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. Would gladly re-book the next time I am in Hays.

Melanie is a great host. Easy to communicate and always ready to help. She is awesome! The place is great for short and long term stays. It comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is good, easy access to main roads. Stores, markets and restaurants are near by. Neighborhood is safe, no concerns or issues. Assigned parking spot, washer/dryer, 2 floor unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and a patio to chill makes this place great. I enjoyed staying here and recommend to anyone looking for a place in KC.

This is great place to stay for KU parents!! Campus is super close and everything is within a 5 minute drive or a short walk. Would definitely stay again!

The location is perfect for most anything in the Overland Park & Kansas City area with nearby access to the major routes for the area. I would stay here again just for the excellent location! The exterior of surrounding buildings are definitely showing their age & could use some help, but the inside of this unit has been updated and is obviously maintained. It didn't matter to us, but I wasn't clearly understanding from the listing that there is a coded door to enter on ground level and then a flight of stairs up to the apartment. At the top of those stairs are two doors-one to this unit and one to a neighboring unit. As another guest mentioned, the neighbors have personal belongings outside of their door. Additionally, there is another flight of stairs inside the apartment to get to the master bed/bath. We enjoyed our stay and found the unit well-furnished and with tasteful decor. The guest contact responded timely to questions.

This place was really cool! The garage door opening up in the living room was even better than the pics show. Clean and easy to access. Terrace with hot tub, grill and fireplace was an extra bonus. This place is well worth the price. Cheaper than a hotel would have been for us and much nicer, private accommodations with a great view of the night life. Definitely recommend Jessie’s Place!!!

Stayed here with family for a couple nights. Good location as close to airport and near to old San Juan. Safe neighborhood. Everything clean and as listed. Nice view of the city from 7th floor as well.

One of the best airbnb experiences I’ve had. Host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had! Also the beds are one of the most comfiest beds I’ve laid on. Will definitely be booking at least one out of the few airbnbs they have listed!
