Vacation rentals with a kayak in Kansas

We were attending a wedding in the area and this location fit our purposes perfectly. Host was very responsive and the house is exactly how it is described. Worked wonderfully for us!

Beautiful, spacious home in a terrific neighborhood was the perfect setting for large family gathering for 80th birthday party! Lori has extremely responsive and very helpful with recommendations when needed. Will definitely be back for future family functions…

We celebrated Christmas at the Lake House. It was beautiful! Janie put up a a tree and decorations for us to enjoy. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect holiday location! Thank you so much!

Great stay, very clean and spacious, beds were comfortable. Just like home and lake view and dock was really nice to sit on, many steps. The only think that made us uncomfortable were the dusty, potholes filled and muddy road when it rained. Due to the rain this year, some roads were closed and very bad at times. My wife and i were concerned driving there during day, let alone at night. We had all wheel drive, and it was bumpy. I would consider going back, if they fixed roads. Had to wash car every day. Amity was really nice and made us feel welcomed.

We rented Elaine’s lake house for our “hub” during Unbound. The house was perfect in every way. Beautiful location/ view, peaceful to relax, close enough to the Town of Council Grove for food choices and groceries. House was spotless and had everything we needed to survive the weekend! Highly recommend this location for a weekend getaway or a family vacation.

We stayed at Eric's place for my dad's 90th birthday. Great location near his home. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and room for some horseshoes and archery. Enjoyed the BBQ and fire pit. Master and second bedrooms were great for two couples. The third bedroom had bunk beds and a kids bed, which worked ok for an adult but not ideal. Would be awesome if you have kids. We ended up sleeping 5 adults and dad went home for the night. Eric nicely left worms for fishing and even a treat for dad. :-) He was very responsive and helpful during the stay. Great stay, great host.

This is my second time staying at this property its seriously our family's home away from home. the host is outstanding. I wish he owned other places across the state 😊. If you are considering this place, don't look any further. We are already booking our next one!

This was the perfect home for my family visiting from out state to stay at! The home was so spacious, we were all able to move through out the home without feeling crowded. Fishing and swimming from the dock was icing on the cake for my nephews and brothers! Thank you Jenny for everything! We all enjoyed our stay and thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Lovely cottage on a secluded property that's minutes away from restaurants and shopping. One good thing to know is that the bathroom is on the main floor and the bedroom is up a flight of stairs (I'm 8 months pregnant, if you know you know). The host Kelly was very communicative and friendly.

We've stayed at Hidden Pearl multiple times, and it has become one of our favorite spots to get away as a couple. Diane is always so hospitable and friendly. The place and surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. We'll be back again!

It was a beautiful place! So nice to wake up and see the sun from the living reflecting off of the lake! Very pretty!

Enjoyed our stay at Cindy's Cabin. It was a short drive from Kansas City, the last couple miles are on gravel roads. There was enough room in the driveway to park my truck and jetski. A boat would be too tight to fit. The layout of the cabin is very nice, it spans three levels with a few steps connecting each. There are plenty of comfortable seating options and is nicely decorated. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Really appreciate the large windows that overlook the backyard. We were able to use the gas grill (under a lean to, which provides cover if it rains) and jacuzzi tub (equipped with an assist for the large cover making it easy to take off & on). It's a short walk to the water's edge. The trail is clearly defined, although muddy if rainy. I would recommend this cabin to all.

If your looking to get away with your large family, this is it! Views are amazing. Sunrise and sunset are worth it alone! My dream buyout home💜

If you like outdoors, country living and fishing, it’s the place to be. Kayaks provide and some great fishing, included with a private beach. The location and environment make you feel like you are not in Kansas anymore. Extremely quiet and secluded, only 20 minutes from civilization.

This was hands-down the best Airbnb we’ve ever rented. The lake house was beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly quiet; exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. The dock and water toys (canoe, paddle board, kayak) looked pristine and so fun. We didn’t get the chance to use them this time, but definitely plan to next visit! the house was cozy, Beautiful, and peaceful. it had EVERYTHING to cook with. most places have awful pots and pans with awful utensils, this place did not. even the knives were sharp. we did not need for anything. The host was kind, sweet, and very responsive, and truly accommodating from start to finish. We loved everything about our stay and will absolutely be coming back at least once a year, if not more. Highly recommend!

Me and my best friend had a great weekend!! It was the perfect size for the two of us to relax and have a girls weekend. I appreciated the clear communication and resources that were given to us. Would definitely stay here again!

Sycamore Springs is one of our favorite places to camp! This cabin is perfectly located on the property. Close to skating, water park and fishing. We loved the outdoor grills and fire pit.

Very beautiful place and extremely nice accommodations. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to visit many more times in the future.
