A Perfect Retreat in the Heart of the City We had a wonderful 2-day family vacation at Nandani’s place. The cottage feels like a dream straight out of the 1900s—cozy yet spacious, with a beautiful garden and lawn perfect for relaxing during the day or enjoying the evening breeze. Despite being right in the city center, the location is peaceful, and most attractions are within walking distance. For a great meal, we recommend Tiger Tiger for lunch—it’s conveniently located right in front of the cottage. The caretakers are incredibly honest and kind, and their three well-mannered children respect your privacy, only interacting when approached. Overall, a perfect blend of vintage charm, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Mr. Satish is a kind and helpful host, helped me with late checkin without any fuss. The place is clean, simple and cute. Easy to locate and accessible and comfortable. The swing and little sitout is a nice addition. The kitchen has everything you need to make Tea, coffee, Maggie etc. Overall the place is pretty and peaceful despite being in the city.

We loved staying at Villa Mercara! It is as close to the center of Madikeri as you can get without being in the bustle of the market & bus stand. This beautifully appointed spacious house, was a great place for 6 of us to spend time together. Plus: It comes with a great restaurant and coffee shop on the grounds. Bonus: the lovely hosts Shubha & Vik - who made us feel right at home!

When you enter it you immediately feel the island vibe. Doc and his 4 dog buddies are the reason that makes the place even more magical. He's willing to tell you everything about the island and the Indian traditions like Theyyam and Kalaripayattu. Also willing to answer all your questions, especially the ones about coconuts; he's the coconut master. And he gave us an inside look into the real Kerala. We stayed in the Matsya house; it was cozy, comfy and clean. The house looks exactly like the pictures on air bnb. You can really see his artistic influence in the house. Besides all of this; the served food prepared by a chef is so finger-licking delicious, 3 times a day you feel like you're in heaven. We'll definitely come back for some liming, nalla. It's such a beautiful property and a perfect getaway from the city hustle. Waking up to such a breathtaking view. The food was AMAZING no complaints there, they provide both veg and non veg food. The property is beautiful, we took a morning walk in the coffee estate they also have a friendly pet dog putta who accompanied us to the morning walk. We were 3 girls and it's a safe property even if it's just a group of girls travelling. They also provide rental taxi contact details if you don't have your own vehicle. I would highly recommend this place to friends group or families too!

Room is clean and neat with super silent air conditioner, wardrobe with locker and cloth hangers, bedside tables, dressing table, spongy bed with multiple pillows and extra bed in case required. Washroom is clean with hot water and other amenities. Kitchen equipped with all appliances and essential consumables, compact dining arrangement. Inverter & ironing facility also available. Near to Bakel fort and beaches. Thrikkannapuram Thriambakeswara temple. On the bank of Bakel river. Cultivated coconut, arecanut & other fruit plant. An upcoming farm is a good view. Complementary breakfast is served, lunch & dinner to be managed by the guests. Nearby restaurant contacts are made available at the villa. Hospitality is fantastic throughout the stay and reachable over phone at any time for any assistance.

This place is peaceful and beautiful. If you are looking to spend sometime with nature, this is the place. I went there with my husband and my toddler. We spend such good time in the garden. Had a quiet quality time with my family. The house was well organised with all necessities including kitchen accessories. Washrooms were clean, bedrooms had sufficient light and the garden was beautiful. Will visit again :) Thanks a lot to Ayoob and Ahmed for being so approachable and helpful.

Everything matched the description and it was lovely to be there.The only thing the bothered us a bit were the cats though cute the didn’t let us have our food outdoors although some would love that. So all in all it was a great place would definitely recommend

The host was very responsive and really humble and always available for any queries and made sure we felt right at home and arranged for early check in too. Will definitely visit again.
