I really had a good time staying here. The location is close to Kyoto Station, so it’s convenient for visiting Mt Inari, Nara, Uji, and Osaka. Several bus stops nearby also made it easy to reach local attractions I wanted to visit, such as Nishiki Market (a must-visit) and the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Two convenience stores are nearby as well: Family Mart (the closest) and 7-Eleven. The room has a washing machine, which was very helpful since I always worked up a sweat after a day of walking. It also includes a fridge and an air conditioner. The bathroom and toilet are both very good. I highly recommend this place when visiting Kyoto.

The experience at Taketo's house was wonderful! The directions to get there provided by the host were clear and effective. The house is very large for the standards I have experienced here in Japan; in addition to the living room, there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The style and furnishings are superb, and Taketo provides everything someone might need to feel welcomed. And here I truly felt at home. Easy travel to the center of Kyoto, and the restaurants proposed by Taketo always lived up to expectations. Nothing left to chance and nothing left unkempt; a great experience! Taketo is always available, friendly and kind. If I return to Kyoto, I will look for this house again.

Great place to stay. May’s instructions on finding the apartment were perfect (she even sent the address to us in Japanese to show the taxi driver). She met us & showed us how everything worked but also left clear written instructions. The flat was really well equipped and had lovely comfortable beds, plenty of hanging space and a great shower! The location is ideal, easy to walk around the area and less than 10 minutes walk to the subway.

I don’t leave many reviews because most places are average but this was by far the best Airbnb my family has ever stayed at. Noriko and her son met us in person, showed us all around the apartment and how things worked and were very responsive throughout our stay. Noriko must be a professional interior designer. Everything about her apartment was perfect and quintessential Japanese design and style. There’s lots of space and can easily accommodate 6 (we only had 4). Noriko even gave us a welcome gift and a nice Japanese print we intend to frame at home If I was ever to move to Kyoto and wanted to buy and apartment I’d buy this one!

Syun’s place was in an amazing location so close to Kyoto Station. There is a 7/11 round the corner. The accommodation was very comfortable and very clean. I would definitely stay here again on visiting Kyoto.

Super clean and as described. Enjoyed our stay. It was a little out of the way so we did use a lot of Ubers - but this was very easy. If only two people - be sure to request both bed rooms be set up. Only one room was set up and no bedding for the other room. They had us pull bedding off one of the beds and use and set up the bed in the other room. No extra linens - but maybe my fault for not letting them know we would sleep in separate rooms. Also only 2 towels for two people for the entire 4 nights. When I asked about this I was told that's all the towels and that guest wash them each day. Overall a great place to stay we loved all the space.

Great house and host. Very responsive and helpful. The wifi cable wasn’t working and the host kindly left a replacement one for us. They also sent us some recommendation of restaurant near by and we were able to check in earlier than our time which was helpful.

Soochan is such a great host! She helped us with so many details that were confusing to us being in a foreign country. She helped us find transportation and restaurants. The unit was clean and comfortable and in a very convenient location for what we needed.

We loved our stay in Kyoto! The house is very well-situated and is quite spacious for 2 people (way better than staying in a tiny hotel room!). There are convenience stores, coffee shops, and restaurants all within walking distance, and there is a subway station about a block away. Koji and Kokichi are excellent hosts—they were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

This is the "cheat" place to explore Kiyomizu Dera and Sannenzaka, just 1 minute from this place. the view are fantastic, the place is sparkling clean, and complete amenities. However, it is located uphill, so if you have large suitcase, its gonna be a cardio workout to push it. Bear in mind that there are no elevator in the unit and the highest floor is 3rd floor Overall it was a pleasant stay, the owner response are also quick. Recommended

Beautiful place. Lots of space for family of 5. Walking distance to the train station. Has all the basic amenities needed.

The Nozemi house was a really great experience! The hosts were very kind, easy going, and were responsive. The apartment itself was bigger than expected, and the walk to the JR line / Aeon Mall was shorter than expected (~12 minutes). The only recommendation would be to provide clear instructions for the washer / dryer use, and rice cooker use. Thank you!

A modern studio

This is an extraordinary place. The location is in the heart of the buzzing Gion district, and everything easily walkable. They hosts were helpful & flexible with us leaving bags before and after. The space is unbelievable and rare. It's very spacious, which was a relief after being crammed in prior hotels. Basically it is a giant and very cool room, with attached bathroom and laundry wing. Bedding comfy. The place feels funky. It has absolutely everything you could need. It is not a shared space with anyone else, it's all yours and private. We travelled with 2 toddlers and the space was perfect. Huge room to run and climb, with plastic kitchenware, toys and books. As the host mentions, it is across the hall from a rooftop bar that can be a little noisy, but also distant bars and the district is noisy and busy in general, it was okay. It was neat and fine but could use a deep clean (it would be a hard space to keep perfect), but overall wonderful. 10/10.

This place is really conveniently located with lots of restaurants, shops and groceries nearby. There are bus stops around the corner that offer access to multiple bus routes that go directly to specific sites or neighbourhoods, and Kyoto station is a short walk away. The room was nice, clean, all necessary amenities provided in the kitchen and bathroom. Overall a great place to stay.

La ubicación estaba super cómoda, hay un seven a unas 3 cuadras y hacíamos unos 7 min caminando a la estación, y de camino hay mini súper y una cafetería frente a la estación que estaba super rica, además el edificio es bonito y la habitación muy agradable. Lo recomiendo y volvería a hospedarme ahí!
