We are pleased to inform you that this room has been completely renovated in 2026, and from now on, your stay will be even better than before. For this renovation, we specifically chose materials with Japanese character.The feature wall is made of mosaic tiles produced by a century-old tile factory in Gifu Prefecture. The tiles reveal different colors depending on the light and shadow, a highly distinctive Japanese craftsmanship technique. The kitchen is equipped with premium Japanese brands, the faucet features a design that won the German Red Dot Design Award, and the induction cooktop is a Mitsubishi IH cooktop from Japan, known for its superior safety and quality. The flooring features high-quality flooring from Asahi Wood Industry, a century-old Japanese company. This is one of our 11 apartment-type accommodations. It is about a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station and a 4-minute walk from Kintetsu Toji Station. The city bus stop called Kujo Omiya is also a very short walk away. The Railway Museum and Kyoto Aquarium are also nearby. They opened in April 2016 at Umekouji Park, which is only about a 7-minute walk. From the balcony, you can enjoy the view of the World Heritage Site, Toji Temple’s Five-Story Pagoda (“Goju no to”).
