This is a charming place in Kyoto. So many wonderful places walking distance. The unit was spacious, spotless, and traditional. We felt very safe and comfortable. I highly recommend coming here if you visit Kyoto.

I really liked the place. It’s relatively close to everything and the host provided my stay with everything I needed. I plan to book this same place when I go back to Kyoto.

Masa’s place is really great - close to bus stops and in a quiet part of town. Masa is really kind & greeted me upon arrival. Everything felt welcoming, comfortable and easy.

I stayed at Yoko-san’s house for two months in Kyoto. It is a wooden house but feels newly renovated while retaining the charm of a traditional Japanese home, with a small tatami mat and wooden sliding doors. The area is quiet and peaceful. While the room isn’t completely soundproof—as is common with many Japanese apartments—the neighbouring guests were respectful and quiet. The space is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with proper appliances and utensils, making it easy to cook. A washing machine is also available in the house. Wifi was fast enough. Overall, the house has everything needed for a long-term stay. It is conveniently located near the Senbon Marutamachi intersection, with easy bus access to major tourist attractions. Yoko-san lives just next door and was very responsive throughout my stay. Before I left Kyoto, Yoko-san kindly invited me to a matcha ceremony at her home. I had a great time and truly enjoyed Kyoto thanks to Yoko-san's hospitality.

It was the best stay we have ever had in our lives. The traditional apartment was beautiful and very clean. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She was also really helpful regarding restaurants, cafes, supermarket and sightseeing. On our last morning she invited us to drink matcha in the traditional way in her guesthouse and then drove us to our train station. As we are from Germany it was a wonderful experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives. We can definitely recommend this Airbnb.

my partner & i loved this Airbnb! the room gave us a feel for traditional japanese housing & we loved it so much! the futons were more comfortable than expected, as someone used to normally sleeping in a mattress. the room is small but cozy & the location is great! very close to nishiki market & the station. when we stayed, there was some construction in the building but it didn’t rly matter to us as we were not home most of the day! if given the chance, i would definitely stay here again & i recommend it to anyone traveling to kyoto.

We arrived in Kyoto without planning activities and the host recommended that we go to an event that was held during our visit. Nice touch!

An impeccable place to stay. Convenient location with beautiful surroundings. The interior is warm and inviting, fully equipped with everything you might need. As comfortable as a luxury hotel. I’ll definitely choose this place again next time I’m in Kyoto.

It was perfect. Exactly what we needed

This is a great apartment in a great location. It was clean and had enough kitchen tools for simple meal preparation. The only slight problem is that the staircase is too narrow. I had a small suitcase but I imagine it could be difficult for people with larger suitcases. All in all, %100 recommended.

The apartment was very nice and located very close to a train station making it very easy to get around Kyoto. Royce was an excellent host and answered very quickly. I would stay here again and recommend anyone to stay here too.

We've had a wonderful stay at the appartement of Nana. We absolutely loved the location. It's in a quiet alley, but close near some beautiful attractions. Inwoulde definitely recommend staying here!

This room is really great, much better than the photos, the location is very convenient, there are bus stops around, convenience stores, many restaurants, and the neighborhood is very comfortable!Really nice stay here!I'll pick this place next time, but there are no stairs, and it's a little troublesome to carry my luggage.

The location of this stay was perfect, within walking distance of many of Kyotos must-see places and great restaurants. The apartment was small (like most Japanese apartments), but incredible value for the price. Taiyo was helpful and responsive.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Kyoto. It’s very close to a popular bus stop and not too far from Kyoto Station. Seizai’s instruction booklet was very clear and gave lots of great information about both the bnb and the neighborhood. The only issue is that the bunk bed ladder does not attach to the bed well, so be careful when climbing up and down. Otherwise everything is great and clean and it’s a nice space. Highly recommend!

K/H did an amazing job as a host and making me feel welcome during my stay in Kyoto. Their clear directions made the stay seamless. Noise around the bnb was not as bad as expected ( rail line by the apartment), and it didn’t impact my sleep at all! Thanks again!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The place was spotless, with both indoor and outdoor bathtubs that made for a truly relaxing experience. It’s incredibly cozy and well-designed, with a perfect location—just a short walk to the subway and the river. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Kyoto!

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

Very nice stay, everything worked perfectly and we could also leave our luggage at the place earlier before check-in. The host was very friendly and helpful. Overall a solid experience and definitely worth the money.
