Vacation rentals with breakfast in Kamo River

Yoko san is easily the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. I stayed for a month and felt relaxed and at home there. The location is a little outside of central Kyoto this suited me really well. It was very easy to travel out to the more peaceful (less crowded) suburbs and there were so many temples nearby to explore. The room itself was perfect and it was a treat to be able to try lots of different Japanese snacks that Yoko san would leave in the kitchen. Yoko san was always happy to help and extremely proactive in offering. She drove me Kyoto station early in the morning on my last day, helped me pick out some Japanese snacks to take home and had so many wonderful recommendations for local places to visit. I can highly recommend Mani mani and I would love to stay again in the future.

I stayed at Yoko’s place for around 12 days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Yoko’s place is situated in a quieter part of Kyoto, on its northwest side with an easy access to Arashiyama and its temples on one hand, as well as to the inner center through frequent buses, just 5 minutes away. Roughly about 25 minutes from Kyoto station by bus but feels more genuinely Japanese. My room was immaculate as were the shared kitchen and the bathroom where each guest has its own toilet but shares the shower. It was never a problem, as everybody acted mindful of others. Yoko made suggestions for local restaurants and supermarkets as well as interesting areas to walk around or visit. Always ready to help and often kindly checked if I needed anything. She gave me the opportunity to do a small workshop at her father’s book-binding place, a lovely experience! She even picked me up at the station and her father took me to my next hotel, unbelievably kind! I know where I’ll stay next time!

This was me and my friends first trip to Kyoto so we were a bit nervous but Keiko was the sweetest person ever. We got lost after we landed so we showed up a bit late but she was very understanding. She made us feel very welcomed and her cooking is amazing. I truly believe that if you are considering to stay here you will feel very welcomed and comfortable. It is easy to navigate to places from the station and is a beautiful home with a lovely host!!

Lily, our host, was so sweet and kind towards the 6 of us! Her breakfast and pick-up services were great, asked about our diets, and she always made sure that we're safe and talked to us about various things. It was really nice coming home to a friendly host and a tidy house, she'd offer us a small treat once we've cleaned up after a full day of travel! I will be coming back here if I travel to Kyoto again, thank you again Lily姐!

Larry was a very positive, friendly host. Very, very nice person and very helpful. He picked us up from the station which was very nice.

If you go to Kyoto you have to go to Keiko’s house ! She is absolutely LOVELY and her home is very comfortable. It is very easy to go from the station to the station next to her home and she will pick you up there ! I highly recommend this stay 🌸 Thanks again for everything Keiko 🩷

Like many have mentioned, this was one of the best AirBnB stays I’ve ever had! Yoko’s place is an expression of her generosity — and her appreciation of beauty. We felt nourished physically and emotionally, from food provided for guests, the cleanliness and comfort, and Yoko’s warmth and responsiveness. The bicycles Yoko provides are such a great way to get around and experience Kyoto neighborhoods. I was traveling with my 16-year old nephew and he loved being able to bike off on his own and explore. Meeting Yoko’s father and getting a window into his mastery of bookbinding was also a wonderful experience. So many gems about our stay. Can’t wait to come back to Kyoto and spend more time at Yoko’s place!

A very Nice, friendly and helpfull couple who run this place. We enjoyed our room and stay with our two small childeren. When we leave, they even brought us to the trainstation (we had a lot of luggage). We also had an amazing korean diner en they were very sweet and lovely with our kids. Thank you for the hospitality

It was a trip with an active 0-year-old (8 months).The room was simple, so I had a comfortable stay without worrying about getting hurt. It was my first time staying in Fukushima, which has a downtown feel, but there are many restaurants in front of the station, and it was a fun trip in a bustling area! Thank you! I want to use it again!

We had a wonderful stay with Kuniko. She is a very kind and helpful host, and we loved meeting her Labrador. The room is well appointed and very comfortable. The breakfasts she prepared each morning were delicious. The location is close to a station and several playgrounds within walking distance. Thank you, Kuniko!

Absolutely recommend this stay in Osaka! The apartment was spotless and well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—and the host went above and beyond with warm hospitality throughout our stay. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the buzz of Dotonbori, but in a quiet enough spot to relax after a big day. Comfortable, convenient, and full of charm—don’t hesitate to book!

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

Close to Fukushima station, close to luggage delivery office (open only Saturday /Sunday). Room was clean, bathroom was spotless. Laundry powder, vacuum cleaner, washing machine was provided. Would stay here again.

This was the best decision ever! The photos don’t do it justice, it felt so homey, so clean and tidy, so perfect. It had everything we needed and more. The owner is very friendly and responsive, he even gave us all kinds of complimentary snacks which we are very grateful for. Great location too. Everything we needed was in this house and we recommend it to everyone who wants to stay around the dotonbori area!

Osaka homestay experience is good, the location is very convenient, you can walk from Noda station in 5 minutes, go to Osaka station Umeda shopping district only two stops, there is also a direct car to Universal Studios, it is very time-saving The room is clean and tidy, fully equipped, and the washing machine can be used. It is very comfortable to stay.The host is very welcoming and responsive, I prepare different delicious breakfast every day, Western-style Japanese, nutritional matching, all the scents, and warm food. It is convenient and safe to live here, very good value for money, I will consider staying here next time I come to Osaka.

This guest house is will be the best choice. The host tommy is very kind and mindful. He speaks english very well, so someone who didn't speak japanese will be satified. Also, the domitory bed was very nice. It's cozy and comfotable. And Tommy will give you breakfast If you request. The toast was tasty. I recommend this guest house, you will not regret your choice. The first time I came to Japan with friends, this accommodation experience was very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, satisfying our imagination of a Japanese homestay. There were also convenience stores and public bus stops nearby. Life and transportation were very convenient. The host was also very friendly. There was also a delicious breakfast every morning. If I come to Kyoto next time, I will definitely choose this place again without hesitation.

Best Airbnb! we stayed at their 200 yeas old farmhouse with wonderful rooms, a terrace and surroundings. Very cozy big house. We have had a BBQ dinner together with the hosts and they also served us breakfast. it was super great to stay there.

Chieri was welcoming and the perfect host. Together with her mother Kauri-san and beautiful WabiSuke, they made us feel at home and gave us a little experience of living within a Japanese Community which is what we were seeking. From inviting us to a local Sushi restaurant to allowing us to share her Tea Ceremony class, Chieri has made our short stay truly memorable.

I enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff, very clean room, convenient to bus and subway stops. Also a short walk to the busy shopping street. Breakfast there was a bonus. Very delicious!

the house is beautiful, especially the family room is very worthwhile. the bathroom is common but this never gave problems. the breakfast was really exquisite, the staff one by one very sympathetic. ok would very much like to go back.

Justin and Sachiyo were amazing , especially Sachiyo - made me feel very welcome, with all her heart, and the food she cooked for me was delicious and so esthetic and she is a very special woman- I would love to come again. Their place is like a palace and their gardens are beautiful. It was the best in all my trip and I recommend it from all aspects ❤️💫 Thanks a lot for who you are Sachiyo and for all your giving.
