Tabitabi Kanoe Mitsu is a fully renovated, over 100-year-old Kyomachi house, located right next to Rokubo-Ritsu-Ji Temple, and is limited to one group per day. A Family House in front of Kyoto Station,4min walk

This house is 4 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. Sightseeing, shopping, dining, travel plans are as you wish. Because it is a two story house, even a little luggage is okay. All the family can relax relaxedly. Small children are also welcome. I think that the room has both western style room and Japanese style room and you can enjoy each atmosphere. Wonderful location - walkable or quick cab to many sites and conveniences. Cool Machiya good for two couples with upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms providing privacy. Downstairs bedroom has a firm western style bed, two upstairs bedrooms have multiple futons and plenty of bedding. Compared to our other accommodations with futons, these were very thin, but because they were plentiful we stacked them for a little more cushion. Lovely small garden to look over makes the place feel a world away. Rental company was responsive and dropped off dishwasher soap same day when we realized there wasn’t any. Overall great stay and excellent hosts - would recommend for your stay in wonderful Kyoto!

We stayed at Icy's house in Kyoto. Icy was very helpful and responsive. The house was as described and was very clean. The area it is located in is very peaceful, which we really liked. It has easy access to two stations on the Keihan line (with an easy change to then reach Kyoto station). There are little shops and restaurants nearby and the various areas of Kyoto are short walk or train ride away. We would definitely consider staying here again, as we would like to return to Kyoto to see more of it.

Wonderful stay with extremely helpful host! Luggage transfer to the Airbnb was seamless and Yoshimi helped us with an issue we were having. Lovely to meet her at the Airbnb in person. The place itself is great walking distance to Nishiki market and other delicious restaurants. Loved staying here. Thank you so much!

The location of the house is very comfortable. The atmosphere of Kyoto is very good. You can walk to Kinkakuji Temple. What was lacking in the US was that it was very bright at night when sleeping at night with the street light right outside the room window right next door

It is a very nice place to travel. Convenient: Near the Keihan Kiyomizu Gojo station, also nearby 7-11 and Family mart. Great food: Have a great time in the udon restaurant nearby the accommodation area. Japanese style living style: Person who love the japan style can choose this accommodation. Very simple and elegant style interior. Spaces: The space is definitely enough for our 6 travellers with the suitcases.

Such a lovely stay in Kyoto! After the hustle and bustle of Tokyo (and tiny hotel rooms), it was so nice to have a beautiful, quiet, calm space to spread out. A quick walk from the train station and the most perfect backyard is waiting for you with the nicest soaking tub. We ended up doing less than planned so we could enjoy the space more.

One word: AMAZING It’s a traditional Japanese house with modern touch. They have tatami room with sliding doors, small garden to enlighten your spirit during your cozy afternoon warm bath and also complete dry kitchen stuff (they have musical microwave 😁😁). What an experience 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Also walking distance to ninenzaka/sanenzaka The host is very responsive and very helpful during our stay (they give us a large bottle of water BTW 😆, thank you)

Great place, with an amazing kitchen. A perfect way for a group of people or a family to spend time together in Kyoto and feel more like staying in an apartment than in a hotel. Note that there are two "bedrooms" -- the small bedroom is fully private, has a door and is near the apartment entrance. The large bedroom doesn't have a door and is mostly private but opens part of the way to the living room. It was very comfortable for us -- we were an adult couple who took the small bedroom with the door, while our single friend took the large bedroom which was semi-private and partially open to the living room. Great internet, lots of bottled water included, great shower (one shower/bathtub).
