We have stayed here a couple of times, and it is our favorite Homer dry cabin. Kenny is an excellent host. He is very quck to respond, is super helpful, and just an all around great guy. I highly recommend this great little cabin.

Wow, what an incredible trip! I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I visited, but Stella was the nicest host ever. She gave me a wonderful tour of the Homestead, and I even got to explore her childhood home. For fans of the show, I had the amazing luck of meeting Otto—such a fluke, but I’m super thankful! If you enjoy the show or the Homestead life, this is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back next year!

We loved the location of The Boardwalk Hotel although the weather did not cooperate (extremely windy) for us to be able to sit out and enjoy the patio and the view as much as we would’ve liked. We appreciated having the golf cart for a few hours in the evening to be able to check out the area. I was kind of surprised at the tip envelope for the cleaning ladies. We have never experienced that before since we pay a cleaning fee through Airbnb…. But of course, we then felt bad if we didn’t leave a tip. We loved the coffee and crêpes at the roasting company down the street as well as Jack and Avias for lunch! Our waitress was great! Super busy but still very friendly! Cute little town/ boardwalk.

My dog and I made a last minute decision to take a restful reading retreat on Homer and found Laurie’s place. It was the perfect accommodation for us. The space is cozy and comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting in the sun out in the year and having room to run around. Laurie was a lovely and friendly host. We would definitely love to return in the future.

What an amazing "Home Away from Home" Had the pleasure of an extended stay and would book again in a heartbeat. Caring and thoughtful hosts that have thought of it all. The cabin views inside as well as outdoor will leave a lasting mark on your Homer visit. As a bonus we were able to enjoy some Moose visits to the yard...it was a WOW 👌

What a beautiful place to stay for a few days. It was quiet and peaceful, and so close to Homer, but not directly in Homer. It is also in a safe place if ever a tsunami is in the forecast. Marie is a very talented pottery maker and we even bought mugs directly from her, and she was nice enough to show us her studio. The cabin is clean and cozy, perfect for a couple looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Thank k you Marie and Mark. We will book with you again in the future!

A Beautiful view and bunnies in the yard makes for a very pleasant stay :) definitely recommend this place!

Jane’s B&B is the best! The cabin is in a beautiful location overlooking Kachemak Bay, Alaska! It’s peaceful and totally relaxing and most of all Jane is an excellent host! I will always remember my stay there and will be back!
