Kominka & Private GARDEN BBQ|Wild cherry blossoms and Mt. Fuji|Harmony of tradition and modern facilities
Snow-covered Mt. Fuji and mountain cherry blossoms.Private hideaway with an outdoor living room. "Takumi-an" preserves the traditions of the early Showa period and incorporates modern facilities. It features the nostalgia unique to an old private house, a spacious wooden deck, and a garden kitchen. Winter is the season when snow-covered Mt. Fuji looks most beautiful. And the west coast of the Izu Peninsula welcomes spring earlier than anywhere else in Japan. In January, the "Toi cherry blossoms" bloom, then the Kawazu cherry blossoms, and then from late March to April, the surrounding mountains bloom beautifully like a patchwork of mountain cherry blossoms. It is a space that expresses the power of nature as it is. You can't see Mt. Fuji from the window, but if you walk a little to the cape, you will see a breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji floating on the sea. This base camp is for those who enjoy discovering such scenery on their own. The luxury of doing nothing. It is designed for long-term stays in a port town. It has a workspace (high-speed wifi), a powerful gas dryer, and a full kitchen. Rediscover the forgotten original Japanese landscape and rhythm of life.

The living and dining room has an excellent sense of openness with a full glass wall with a view of Mt. Fuji, where the bright sunlight from the garden gently wraps the interior. The natural warmth of wood from the large, sustainable chestnut tree pillars and dining table, and the stylish space, has an indescribable charm. At night, the lighting creates a unique atmosphere with soft moonlight. The private garden is designed with the theme of natural plants, and you can enjoy a BBQ campfire with family and friends while looking at the magnificent panorama of Mt. Fuji. Spend an elegant time at the newly built Villa, completed in March 2022, with the concept of harmony with nature. ※ We use a room charge system and can accommodate up to 6 guests. * There is a separate fee for using the BBQ equipment/fire pit/sauna.

Limited to one group per day, Mökki is a small cottage with a garden by a stream
Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish, a Nordic language. Enjoy your time in a special space away from everyday life. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, blessed with forests, lakes and snow in northern Nagano Prefecture. Nearby, there are many natural sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Highlands, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. A building from the development era, it has been stylishly renovated using plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, hinoki cypress, and plaster. We also focused on the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the winter, when it is completely covered in snow, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the snow-covered landscape. You can follow animal tracks on snowshoes and go on a snowy picnic, or enjoy a bonfire and BBQ in the riverside house in winter. There are also 7 ski resorts within a 30-minute drive. This area is famous for its powder snow, and is also a great base for skiing and snowboarding. There is also a birthday cake service for guests celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. Please check with me in advanced.

All-you-can-use sauna, private rental, old private house
An old private house that was renovated by the owner "JP", who loves DIY, who dreamed of an ideal life and renovated a 150-year-old house. You can enjoy the Irori, a traditional Japanese sunken fireplace, and the world's only egg-shaped sauna. The egg sauna is especially recommended, as it was created with a shape that allows heat to circulate naturally. This is all handmade (DIY)! Feel both the heat of the wood stove in the sauna and the creative heat of JP. You can also enjoy hot pots and grilled fish skewers in the hearth, which has been restored by DIY. Please bring all your own food, so please come after buying it at a nearby supermarket. The location is a region called "Kobo" in the foothills of Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture. Nishi-Awakura Village, which is becoming a popular topic as a village of local creation and migration, is just around the corner, so I think it would be interesting to stop by on the way.

Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)
This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Rock Forest Hokuriku Izawa [BBQ in the fireplace in the forest & hot spring bath fed by a source spring on a rock]
A 1000 square meter private villa with 7 spaces. The entire "Rock Forest" has seven main concepts. We offer each "way of spending time". After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. Surrounded by nature, you can relax and enjoy an extraordinary time. < Winter season November-March > The outdoor bath is closed during the winter months.
