Cottage vacation rentals in Jamtland County

We spent the end of year holidays in Maria's cottage and do not regret our choice for a single moment. The location is idyllic, by the lake and close to many hiking trails. The cottage is comfortable and very well decorated, large enough for a family of 4. The accommodation has a direct view of the lake, we were able to observe the beautiful sunrises. The sauna is very simple to use, perfect for winter evenings. The environment is very quiet and peaceful. To go shopping or for activities you have to take the car, the roads can be a bit surprising when you're not used to them. Maria is a very friendly, responsive and considerate host. We had a great time during this stay.

We spent seven wonderful days at the listing. Mats was very helpful and had valuable tips for things to do in the region. We felt very comfortable at the place!

We had an amazing Easter holiday break in Marinca's cottage. They welcomed us in the home warmly, suggested local touristic activities. The house is simply beautiful kitchenware was quite complete for anything. There were too much snow at this time of the year, so hottub and sauna were so much fun! They work with wood fire; costing more effort to run but quite enjoying as it gives the old style feeling!

Had a wonderful and peaceful stay for 8 days, this is a lovely place and we’d be happy to come back if we get the chance!

It was a very nice holiday. The house and location are wonderful. Our hosts were just great, nothing left to be desired. We were helped with a problem with our car, as if you had known each other for a long time. I would recommend it, yes, absolutely.

Fantastic cozy and nice cabin. Nicely decorated. Nice nature around. It was magically quiet on New Year's Eve without lots of fireworks. Amazing northern lights on New Year's Day. The host lives on the property where the cottage is located but never felt like we disturbed each other. The host is very helpful and nice to communicate with. Feel free to rent there again.

We stayed here for four nights over the sports holiday as a family with three children and dog and had a great time! The house is beautifully located overlooking a lake in a quiet and private location, perfect for relaxing and dog walking. The place was homely, well equipped, tidy and practical. We especially appreciated the wood-fired sauna on the farm! Carola was nice and helpful and responded quickly to our questions. Perfect as a base for skiing in Vemdalen even if it's a bit of a drive. We are very satisfied and highly recommend this home!

Very nice, fresh and modern cabin with good equipment. Worked perfectly even for a slightly larger group (4 adults and 4 children). Fast and smooth communication with the hosts.

We had a wonderful week and felt very welcome! An idyllic spot in the snow! Laura and her husband and son are super hosts and are already there if you need them and make sure you don't miss anything and ask regularly if everything is as desired and if they could do anything else for us. We have enjoyed the sauna, the large ski area around Åre and the most beautiful and largest waterfalls in Sweden, in winter view. Many fantastic places to drink coffee and eat deliciously. But also in the cottage itself, it is wonderful to cook, or to enjoy your coffee in the winter sun on the veranda:) Östersund is a nice place to go once. Located on Lake Storsjön, (completely frozen) with all kinds of activities on the lake on the weekend we were there. Tasty coffee: Åre kafferosteri Super pizzas Åre: La’Gårn fd Torvtaket with a view! In former farmers' stable. Bread & pastries: not cheap but super tasty: Fävikens Lanthandel (Krus bageri)

It was a very cozy home, perfect for a stay near Åre!

The cottage is modern with many good things in a small area. It is within walking distance to the slopes, hotels and Skistars bus stop. We enjoyed our stay in Klövsjö very much.

A very nice cabin that was great for some ski days in Vemdalen as it is close to the slopes. The cottage is well planned and it has a well equipped kitchen. Recommended!

We had a great stay and felt very well taken care of. It’s a cost cottage and it’s easy to be there, it really helps that the kitchen is stocked with some of the basics, saved us on New Year’s Eve!
